Glancing down at his wristwatch, Kim Taehyung checked the time as he stood right outside the entrance of Lee Publications building with Kim Namjoon. None of Taehyung's friends had any idea why he insisted on visiting the particular place that afternoon after hanging out at the studio. However, knowing that he was not well enough to be wandering about all by himself, Kim Namjoon had voluntarily decided to accompany him to the place he so badly wanted to go.

Namjoon only regretted his decision afterwards, when he was being made to wait outside the building with Taehyung for nearly two hours only to find out that Taehyung himself didn't actually have any idea why he wanted to be there, in the first place. He had noticed how Taehyung has been behaving slightly unusual throughout the entire day that they've spent at the studio. Taehyung was restless, a little angsty and he gets easily aggravated when being asked a simple question he couldn't answer. His friends thought that it was only natural for a person to feel frustrated when he couldn't remember the things he should but  Namjoon did not expect Taehyung's condition to be this odd. He had never heard of a person wanting to be somewhere so desperately without a motive.

"So...you're telling me that you don't even know why you wanted to be here? Seriously?" -Namjoon asked, giving Taehyung a questioning look before he continued, "You're kidding me, right? We've been standing here for two hours, dude."

"I don't know why but I feel like I'm supposed to be here." -Taehyung simply shrugged, turning around to look at the lobby area cluelessly. "This is one of the places I remembered seeing in my dream, last night. It kinda feels like I've been here before but...I'm not too sure what sort of business I could have had here, in a publishing company."

"So you're just visiting places that you're seeing in your dreams, now?" -Namjoon asked, giving Taehyung a look of disbelief. "This doesn't make any sense."

"Look, there are a lot of things that I don't understand and it's really driving me crazy." -Taehyung said in a tone of annoyance, "I've been trying to stay sane and convince myself that I'm not out of my mind but everyone around me is treating me like a clueless ! Everyone is telling me that I've lost my memories so right now, I'm trying to recollect whatever I think I'm supposed to know! I know for sure that my dreams are telling me something. If you don't want to be here then leave! I never asked for you to come along, anyway!"

"Jeez...calm down. I was just asking..." -Namjoon was taken aback by Taehyung's unusually impertinent reply, "You know what? If you want to stand here and do nothing, fine. I'm with you...but I'm only giving it another hour and then we have to leave. Together. Do you hear me? I do not want your girlfriend to question me if anything happens to you. I'm only doing this because I'm your friend and I give a about you."

"Fine!" -Taehyung replied, crossing his arms as he turned his back to Namjoon and looked the other way.

The two friends continued to wait pointlessly right outside the Lee Publications building, watching formal-attired men and women tapping out of gantries at the lobby area, seeming to be clocking out of work as the sun was about to set. For a good five minutes, Taehyung was anxiously looking around and observing every person walking right past him, wondering if there could be someone he could recognize, exiting the building or perhaps someone he was secretly hoping to meet.

Meanwhile, Namjoon who has been yawning tiredly and playing with his phone somehow felt a little restless when he accidentally locked gazes with a man who had been looking their way in a suspicious demeanour from a distance. From the way the man was dressed, Namjoon could somewhat guess that he was probably an employee of the company holding a higher position than the rest of the people around them. He couldn't help but feel uneasy when the man kept looking their way as if he recognized who they were.

"Hey, Taehyung..." -he discreetly nudged Taehyung on the arm, leaning closer towards him as he speaks.

"What?"

"I know I said I won't ask you any more questions but...the guy on the right has been looking our way for the past few minutes...and I don't feel too good about it." -Namjoon said, taking a quick glance at the man before diverting his gaze back at his friend, "By any chance, do you know him? 'Cause if you don't, I highly suggest that we leave now because he looks like he could call the guards on us. I bet he finds us suspicious."

"Why would anyone find us suspicious? We've been standing here doing nothing..." -Taehyung responded with an annoyed look on his face, shaking his head at his friend's irrational assumption.

"For almost three hours, already. It's funny you think that what we're doing is not...weird." -Namjoon replied sarcastically as he took another glance to his right then quickly shifted his gaze elsewhere when the man began to approach them. "Great. I think he's coming over. Come on, Taehyung. We have to leave! I don't want to get into trouble!"

Annoyed at his friend, Taehyung turned around to his right, finally giving his attention to the man who Namjoon was desperately trying to walk away from. At the sight of the mysterious man, Taehyung's eyes instantly widened then narrowed when he noticed how familiar the person's face seemed to look to him. He could've sworn he had met the man somewhere before but his mind couldn't exactly figure out further details like when or where. Not even a name was ringing a bell to his head.

For some unexplainable reason, the feeling of annoyance in Taehyung began to swell in him as the man walked closer and closer towards them. He couldn't tell if it was the hateful smug the man was wearing on his face or if it was a gut feeling in him that was trying to give him a hint but the man has definitely made him believe in 'annoyed at first sight'.

"Hi..." -The man said, initiating a handshake that only Namjoon hesitantly greeted. "It has been a while since I last saw you around. I thought the whole 'honeymoon romance' was done." -he chuckled, still holding his hand out, waiting for Taehyung to take it.

"Romance? What romance?" -Namjoon gave both the man and Taehyung a weird look. Elbowing Taehyung on the arm, Namjoon leaned closer to his ears and whispered through gritted teeth, "What's your problem? I know you've got amnesia but don't tell me that you forgot how to act civil too. Shake his damn hands."

"I don't understand what you're trying to say. Do I know you?" -Taehyung asked the man, blatantly ignoring his friend and folding his arms across his chest to deliberately make it clear to Namjoon that he didn't want to be polite.

Giving Taehyung a contemptuous smirk as he awkwardly pulled his hand back and acknowledged the handshake rejection, he replied,

"Well...I thought your girlfriend would've already told you about me...but I guess I was wrong. Fair enough, we've seen each other countless of times before but we've never really had a proper introduction. The name's Lee Minhyuk. Deputy Chairman of Lee Publications...or shall I be a little more specific, a former lover of Joohyun's."

Gasping at the man's words, Namjoon leaned in to whisper in Taehyung's ears, again, "Are you hearing what I'm hearing or have I just heard him wrong? I didn't know that Joohyun had an ex..."

Taehyung was just as confused and curious as Namjoon when he heard the man's reply. Honestly, he wasn't too concerned about the man claiming to be a 'former lover' of Bae Joohyun. He was, however, a little surprised to find out that the dream that led him to this place, somehow has got something to do with the lady he hasn't been able to remember yet, Bae Joohyun. He was trying to comprehend what his dream was trying to tell him but he couldn't seem to figure it out.

"...and how can I help you?" -Taehyung asked in a contemptuous tone, a little unsure why he was inclined to respond rudely to Lee Minhyuk.

Snickering at Taehyung's query, the man shook his head and said,

"I believe that's a question I should be asking you, instead. I noticed that you've been standing here for quite a while, now. I suppose you were waiting for Joohyun?" -Minhyuk  an eyebrow at Taehyung who only gave him a confused look in response.

"What?"

"She didn't look too good, today so I personally allowed her to leave a little early. She left at lunchtime, actually." -he continued, ignoring Namjoon who looked a little more confused than his friend who was now glowering sullenly, "I'm assuming she hadn't informed you about it and that's why you've come to pick her up. I'm quite surprised that her own boyfriend, who I so often heard her brag about, doesn't even know that she has left work early today. It seems like something's a little wrong, here. Couple fights are typical, I suppose..." -he shrugged and flashed out another condescending smirk on his face.

"Wait...so...Joohyun works here?" -Namjoon questioned, then gasped and started to click his fingers and turned to Taehyung, "That's it! I get it now! You were right, Taehyung! Your dreams are indeed helping you out! You probably wanted to be here because you recalled the times you would come over and pick Joohyun up after her work ends. Boyfriend duties! This has got to be one of the routine stuff you're used to before you lost your memories. You're finally recalling something!" -he said in elation.

"I'm sorry." -Minhyuk furrowed his brow in curiosity as soon as he heard what Namjoon had just said, "What did you just say? He...lost his memories?"

"Yes, unfortunately..." -Namjoon casually answered, "It was a road trip accident and -"

"I think we're done here, Hyung." -Taehyung immediately interjected his friend, "It turns out that you're right. I wasn't making any sense. The dreams that I had meant nothing more than just a stupid dream. This visit was pointless. Let's just go."

Without even waiting for his friend, Taehyung furiously stormed off, feeling a little more annoyed, angered and frustrated than he was before.

<<----->>

As soon as Taehyung arrived home, he entered the house with a hard frown on his face, throwing his keys at a table along the alley of the entryway as he walked in. Apart from the incomprehensible feeling of annoyance he had towards the stranger Lee Minhyuk who he had just met earlier, Taehyung was currently feeling infuriated that he was still unable to unscramble his thoughts about the things he had seen in his dreams.

He thought that visiting the place he had dreamt about last night could help him figure out what he honestly wanted to find out the most. He had silently hoped that he would be given a hint that could help him recall something about Min Ha Na and their relationship fallout. However, he was only left a little dispirited and a little more confused when he learnt a piece of whole new information that he wasn't even seeking.

Of course, he was also trying his best to remember Bae Joohyun too but her workplace and her ex-boyfriend wasn't really something he cared to know about, at the moment. It frustrated him even more when he discovered an incomprehensible feeling of hatred that came out of nowhere when a man named Lee Minhyuk, introduced himself to him. The visit which he initially thought would help him out, had only left him with more questions in his head and confusion in his heart.

Walking past the living room, Taehyung found Joohyun happily humming away and busying herself in the kitchen, cooking up something that smelled extremely appetizing it made his stomach grumble out loud. He couldn't help but stop and watch her from a distance, wondering what she was preparing for herself for a person who 'didn't look too good' that day as someone had claimed, earlier.

"Oh, hey! You're back!" -Joohyun smiled brightly as she turned around towards the kitchen counter and found Taehyung looking right back at her. "I didn't see you there. How was your day at the studio with -"

Joohyun abruptly paused her words when Taehyung audaciously walked away without allowing her to finish her sentence. He entered his room and closed the door shut, leaving her wondering why he was behaving so cold out of a sudden after spending the day with his best pals. Concerned of her boyfriend's odd behaviour, Joohyun lowered the heating temperature on the stove and left the kitchen to head straight to his bedroom. Then, she carefully leaned her head against the door, trying to figure out what Taehyung could be doing in his room and if it was was appropriate for her to knock and enter.

At the very moment that Joohyun was about to give the door a knock, it suddenly opened and both herself and Kim Taehyung jolted at the sight of each other. Quickly hiding her hands behind her back, Joohyun put on a nervous smile on her face while Taehyung looked at her with a piercing cold gaze. The kind of glare she'd normally receive when Taehyung was not in his best mood or if he was being jealous over  Seokjin who would habitually come over to their home to share his recipes and cook with her.

"What are you doing outside my door?" -Taehyung asked, the tone of his voice and the look on his face was unparallel. He sounded nice but his facial expression was saying otherwise.

"Nothing..." -Joohyun said, "It's just that...you walked away while I was talking to you and I just thought that maybe you didn't hear me or something..." -she shrugged,

"I heard you..." -he replied impassively.

"I see. So you were intentionally ignoring me, then." -Joohyun nervously fiddled with the corner slit of her shirt and asked "Why, though? Have I done or said something wrong to you?"

Staring blankly at Joohyun for a few seconds, Taehyung mentally re-evaluated his behaviour, shook his head as he sighed and replied, "I'm sorry. That was really rude of me."

"Apology accepted." -Joohyun said, looking at him with concern, "Is everything alright? You seem a little off, tonight."

"Honestly? I don't feel too good." -Taehyung frankly answered, "It has been a really trying day for me, today. I'm just...so annoyed and mad at everything right now and...I don't even know why..." -he said, pushing his hair back as if he was worked up and exasperated over something.

"Well...I know you wouldn't remember this but usually...when you don't feel too good or when you've had a hard day at work, you'd talk things out with me and it would somehow make you feel better. Would you like to try talking about it?" -Joohyun asked in a tone so gentle and warm, it managed to please his ears. "I cooked some spaghetti. I'm not trying to be conceited about my cooking skills but you'll like it, I promise. What do you say if we...talk over dinner? It's really fine if you don't want to, though."

"Sure..."-Taehyung said, forcing up a smile on his face as he nodded unenthusiastically. "Food makes anyone feel better so...why not..."

"Cool. I'll be done in a couple of minutes..." -Joohyun smiled, "Care to help me with the plates?"

"Of course."

<<----->>

"Mmm. This is actually really good..." -Taehyung said, chewing his food with delight, "I like it."

"Were you expecting it to be bad?" -Joohyun teasingly asked, feeling a little satisfied that she was able to turn Taehyung's frown upside down.

"That's not what I meant." -he chuckled, "Usually I would know what to expect out of a plate of spaghetti. Tomato sauce...parsley...grated cheese. All homemade pasta tastes the same to me...but this different and it's even tastier than Jin Hyung's. Don't tell him I said that."

"Don't worry, I won't..." -she giggled, admiringly watching Taehyung as he eats her cooking deliciously.

"But really, though. I've never had one like yours."

"You have, actually." -Joohyun replied with a sweet smile,
