Characters: Jennie.
 
Jennie, born and raised in Seoul, is called to the remote village of Shojin when she receives a letter from her ailing grandmother. Upon arrival, she is greeted with looks of hatred and malice whispers. Why do they glare? Why do they speak with such spite? What was she to them that caused so much hatred? However, she soon finds comfort in the majestic and unusually mystifying Shojin Woods. The surroundings are uncanningly familiar and then low and behold, she sees it-it's faint but it's there, a veil...

Chapter 52: I had fun writing and would definitely like to thank you and everyone involved for the contest. It gave me another shot at writing when I was unsure if I should continue the hobby or not, and I really hope that at the very least, the judges enjoy the completed stories. I hope I at least get runner up :p

Hi, I'm not sure if I was supposed to mention it, but I completed my story in late December. Hopefully others complete theirs, too! I'm interested in the new contest too, so might join that one later ^^

Even though I did want to submit an entry, I find myself feeling unmotivated to finish up my story. It may have something to do with my parents getting my sisters and I sick (again!!!) and being sick, I find myself wanting to do nothing more than sleep.
I think I might end up going for the Light and Darkness Fantasy Writing Contest instead.
