Before taking one more step to head into the woods for some privacy, Shiah turned around, gazing back to Yongguk as he was standing on the porch with his hands in his pockets with Mimi next to him.

She stayed behind due to Yuto's request and she didn't mind since she would be helping Binnie make cookies.

Yongguk gave Shiah a nod along with a wink. He let out a breathe as she stayed in her place for a few more seconds.

It had been a few days since her arrival and she spent of her time with Yongguk which was understandable for someone who is in love. But Yongguk wasn't a fool, he knew she was avoiding to talk to the ascensions. The more she avoided the more he would keep reminding her.

Now, she had to take care of her own business and see what would happen afterwards. Shiah smiled at Yongguk and turned around not looking back again.

"Things will be ok right?" Mimi turned towards Yongguk to hear his answer.

He nodded before turning to her and placed his hand on her head. "She will know what's important."

Mimi gave him a bright smile before turning around and going inside.

Yongguk gave one last stare to where his love walked and hoped everything would go well. He had a feeling it would be. It might be a bit hard but in the end, it's worth it.

"Now that we are far enough from the house, what did you want to talk about?" Jinho asked he was sitting criss-crossed on the grass.

Yuto sat next to him along with Wooseok with his long legs stretched out.

Yanan and Hui were standing while Shiah sitting down next to Yuto.

She bit her bottom lip a few times unsure how to bring up the conversation. She never thought it would come to this. It has to be the hardest thing to do since they were important to her. Her family after her parents passed away. They took her in and grew up with her.

Sometimes they were like her older brothers and other times they were like uncles. It depended on the situations. But as she grew up, she became a young adult. She definitely saw them as older brothers who cared so much for her and were willing to do anything to her.

She closed her eyes knowing she couldn't stay quiet or stall anymore. She felt her heart racing inside and her hands were shaking. In this moment, she wished Yongguk was with her but this was something she had to do on her own.

Shiah felt a hand on hers. She opened her eyes and saw Yanan smiling at her. He had gone to her after seeing her struggle with herself.

"Whatever it is, we will respect it." He told her squeezing her hand.

Her protector gave her calming words but it was only enough for now. She took this chance to let anything slip out of . "Yongguk spoke to me about something involving you all and I think he has made a point."

"What is that exactly?" Hui asked furrowing his eyebrows but he had a guess from a few weeks ago.

Shiah swallowed the lump in pushing it back down. "About releasing you."

All five boys dropped their jaw in shock as Shiah knew their reactions was expected. She thought her heart was racing, well now it was pounding wanting to explode.

"You can't be serious!" Jinho exclaimed trying to laugh it off.

"Yeah, come on, don't joke around like that." Wooseok tried to ease up the serious talk around them.

Shiah closed her eyes taking in a deep breath and opened them, exhaling it out. "I'm not joking. I'm serious."

Yanan released her hand and didn't say anything. He didn't think she would bring it up.

Jaejoong was right..

Yanan didn't know what to think. It was too soon for her to come to a decision but what if she had a really good reason for it all. He could only listen and hear what she had to say.

"I know it's hard to accept something like this --"

"Why are you doing this?" Hui asked moving away from the tree. "Did Yongguk tell you to do this?"

"No." Shiah shook her head. "It was something he wanted me to see."

"Which is what?" Hui took a step towards her. He was giving a hard cold face. He didn't want to believe that it was all Shiah. Yongguk played a little part in it as well. He wasn't dumb. "Now that your happy and in love with him, he's making you release us so he can protect you on his own? Or is he jealous because he wants to protect you on his own? Look how well that happened when you got taken and stabbed!"

"Stop it Hui!" Jinho stood up pushing his friend back.

"YOU CAN'T EVEN HAVE CHILDREN BECAUSE OF HIM!" He shouted her. His emotions were getting the best of him. He ignored Jinho's push and kept staring at the girl.

Shiah stood up from her place with tears sliding down her cheek. "That was my choice to make! I choose to save him! Not you or anyone else. I don't care if I don't have children."

"Yooa.." Yanan spoke in a hushed tone looking up at her.

Shiah shook her head letting more tears slide down. "It was hard enough being away from Yongguk those past few weeks. I thought nothing of him and I wanted to be with him. I love him. Now that I am..." She took in a deep breath again and gave them a smile best she could even though it was hurting her. "I should start thinking what is best for me and my life with him."

"THAT IS BULL ! YOU KNOW THAT!" Hui continued to shout at her. He tried to grab her shoulders and shake her but Jinho held him back from doing so. "WE ARE YOU'RE PROTECTORS! WE PROTECT YOU!"

"THAT'S MY POINT HUI!" Shiah shouted back having enough of his temper. She fisted her hands and they shook as she was holding herself together. "You are always going to protect me. No matter what, but what about the others? I'm staying with them now and if something happens, they need protection too. Not just me."

Wooseok scoffed upon hearing those last words. "That sounds like his words, not yours."

"That is not true! I've come to care for his pack and the girls. I care about them and I would be just as devastated if something happened to anyone." Shiah stood her ground with her head held high like any royal would. Just because she wasn't the princess anymore, she always remembered that her parents told her to be strong. "When I was separated from Yanan, I was on my own. I didn't want to trust anyone. I felt hopeless and alone. Yongguk was the first one to gave me compassion and help me trust him."

"Yeah because you were going to fall in love with him." Hui scoffed removing himself from Jinho. "Why do you really want to release us?"

Shiah blinked away her tears since it was getting the best of her. "I need to do this."

"Why?" Yuto asked this time. He was trying to understand her. He remembered what Jaejoong told them but it seemed like she was having a hard time. "We've been by you since you were little. Why the sudden change?"

"Do you not want us anymore?" Yanan asked this time still looking up at her with a sad expression.

Shiah looked down at him. She saw the sad expression he had and it made her bend down to her feet cupping his face with her hands, letting a few tears fall on his cheeks. "Just the opposite."

"Tell us?" Jinho asked waiting for her response. "Is this about you or Yongguk telling you what to do?"

Shiah sighed shaking her head. "Stop bringing him into this."

"We just want to understand you." Wooseok responded back to her. "We are just in shock and confused as to why you would want to do this. We are your family."

Shiah stood up staring at the boys on the ground. She looked at each and every one of them. She held out her hand to Yanan and Wooseok. She helped them up and looked over to Yuto as he was a out of the circle, but it wasn't a circle, it was a pentagon. She did it without them knowing.

Hui was the head point.

Jinho and Yuto were at the next two points forming an invisible triangle.

Yanan and Wooseok were in the back that formed the invisible and complete square.

Shiah stayed in the middle.

She was told if she ever wanted to release them. She had to align them in their form of a pentagon and saw the words. She gave them a heartbreaking smile as they all faced her.

"One day, you will come across someone you will learn to care for and love. It will be a wonderful feeling that you can't shake off and you will always want it to linger. You will want to protect that person from any harm and be there for them." As she was speaking, she would look at each of the boys. But she stopped in front of Yuto because she knew, he already found someone he cared for. Mimi. He wouldn't let anything happen to her. "I wouldn't blame you if you desire to put them first. Above me. I would respect that choice."

Yuto gave her a smile as a thanks.

"But as long as your connected to me for protection, you can't do that." Shiah looked away from Yuto and stared at the others. "If I keep you with me as my protectors, you'll always put me first and me alone."

"Is that so wrong?" Wooseok asked giving her the same expression as the others. He was the second closets one to her. But even though he is the youngest, he tries to be tough but he is actually soft hearted when it came to her.

Shiah smiled going to him and cupped his face like a child. "No, but I do want you all to have a life as well. Be happy and free." She released him and turned to gaze at the others again. "Free from responsibilities of me, explore to other assignments and fall in love."

Yanan was the first to break covering his face with his left arm.

"You want to release us so we can have a life and find love?" Hui asked knowing this is what the others were possibly thinking but they all were sharing the same thing in mind. They just didn't want to discuss it in front of her. They promised Jaejoong. "How can you do this to us?"

"You make it sound like she is betraying us." Yuto commented with a smile. "If anything she is thinking about us."

Shiah got her approval from Yuto.

One vote. Four to go.

Whether I get the others or not, I'm still going to do it.

"I want to be strong for myself. I haven't been giving that chance. I want to learn and make mistakes. " Shiah smiled at them. Her tears were sliding down but every so often, her tears would dry up by the wind as it passes by. "I know some of my choices have been bad but I've learned from them. You can't keep babying me."

In that moment, the boys realized the last part. From the moment they started caring for her, she was babied by them. They will always care for her and respect her wishes.

It was just going to be hard to accept this one.

"Yooa... please reconsider." Hui pleaded to her as he held out his hand. "Despite everything you said."

"Which made good points." Jinho commented with a smile.

"We are your family." Hui gave her hand a squeeze the moment she took it. The final step of her releasing them was grabbing the hand of the leader.

She smiled with tears filling her eyes. "I know. You all are the best brothers I never had. But this is something I must do. Not for me but for you all."

"Don't Yooa...please just --"

"I, Yooa Princess of the Fairies..." She closed her eyes looking up as a gust of strong wind came down below making the leaves and branches rustle around each other. "RELEASE THESE ASCENSION AS OF NOW FROM PROTECTING ME!"

"YOOA NO!"

She let go of Hui's hand and felt the wind calm down and mother nature around them was still, back to normal as when they first started their conversation.

Yuto looked over to Wooseok, who looked over to Yanan and Jinho. They all looked over to Hui as he was in shock. Shiah had a smile on her face along with a bright glow forming.

"I wish you all the best. I love you." She flew off in a speed of light no one has ever seen before.

The others stayed in their spot in silence.

Yanan was the first to fall to his knees. "It's over."

Wooseok patted his shoulder giving it a squeeze. He was the first one to give him comfort moving from his place.

"Wait," Yuto noticed something and he couldn't help but scoff. "Wooseok go back to your spot."

The youngest did what he was told and waited.

"She had us in formation of a pentagon and her in the middle." Yuto looked over to Hui as he stared at their spots and released it he was right.

"She knew how to break the seal. How?" Jinho questioned looking at his friends.

"Her parents must have told her." Hui sighed closing his eyes. "Jaejoong would have told us if she knew this."

Again, there was silence.

Each of the boys sat down on the ground not saying anything.

Jinho got a few thin twigs and started breaking them piece by piece.

Wooseok kept his eyes on Yanan as tears were sliding down his cheek.

Yuto sighed staring at each of his friends wanting to say something. But what was there to say? Nothing. He couldn't find the right words to help in this situation.

"Do you guys feel that?" Hui asked staring at each one.

It took a moment for them to feel what he was asking.

Yongguk kept looking at the clock that hung on the wall as he was sitting in the other living room away from the noise. He kept thinking about Shiah and couldn't help but wonder how things went. In a way, he felt like
