Heartwaves
Description
Meiqi finds that if she thinks of her crush too much, and look at her long enough, she can hear Xuanyi's thoughts whenever her eyes are on Xuanyi. Meiqi finds it a terrible curse. Meiqi discovers later from her friends that she isn't alone in this curse, and that it happens to everyone.
Yeoreum hasn't had a crush in a while since high school, but she knows what happens when you have one. She knows Dawon is having one, for a few months now, and has been a confidante to Dawon in her woes of unrequited feelings. What they don't expect is when Yeoreum finds that she begins to hear, as well, thoughts of a person who has most definitely captured her heart. Nor did they expect who that person might be.
Foreword
"I seriously need a break from all this," Meiqi hears a voice from the back of her head. Confused, she straightens herself in her seat. Where did that voice come from? How did she hear that?
But there was one thing she knew for sure: it definitely was Xuanyi's voice.
Meiqi furrows her eyebrows and tilts her head. She was just looking at Xuanyi. Xuanyi did not speak to her. All she did was sigh.
She turns to return her eyes to Xuanyi, who is now packing up and closing her books. "I'm done," she hears her voice again.
As Xuanyi stands up and take her leave from her usual spot in the library, Meiqi follows and gathers her studying materials, quickly leaving after Xuanyi, with an urgency to find the answers to her questions.
