Dara stared outside the airplane's window and sighed. It has been 5 years since she left Korea and she doesn't know what awaits her now that she's coming back. She released another deep sigh as memories come flowing....

"Babe?" she softly called out. The lights are off but since she know the insides of the unit, she went straight to the living room and dropped her gifts to the center table. "Babe, are you home?"

She is walking to her boyfriend's bedroom when she stepped on something in the floor that rolled away. She went to the switch and turned the lights on. She gasped when she saw the condition of the living room.

"S-sohee?" Her brows furrowed when she saw her classmate came out from the bedroom. Her heart pounds louder when she saw her wearing only a shirt larger than her, hair messy like she just woke up from sleep. Her palms started to sweat and she felt like her blood is draining out of her head.

"D-dara, I-I t-hought you are not to be back until tomorrow." Sohee seemed to be so shock seeing her inside her boyfriend's home. 'No, please.. no'

"What are you doing here? Where is---" her words were halted when she saw who came out from the same bedroom door. Like Sohee, the man looks like he just woke up from sleep wearing only a boxer's short with his messy hair and half opened eyes.

Dara felt like she suddenly ran out of breath. Her whole body felt numb and her heart seemed to burst out from her chest due to loud pounding.

"J-jiyong..." she tried to speak even if all she want to do in that moment is to ran away from there. "What is happening?"

"You're back earlier," she heard him say in an emotionless voice. "I'm planning to break it to you tomorrow when you're back... but you're here now."

"W-what do you mean?" Dara said while tears started to fall from her eyes. Her chest started to restrict as if a hand is squeezing her heart inside.

"Get back inside," Jiyong commands Sohee who looked at her first hesitating but still went back to the bedroom. Dara felt like fainting right there that moment.

She doesn't know how long she was standing there when she heard him speak again.

"I didn't mean to end it this way, but you saw already. So..." Jiyong shrugged his shoulder then ruffled his messy hair back and forth and yawn.

"You slept with Sohee?" Her heart broke into pieces when Jiyong just looked at her with bored eyes. 'Just like that?'

"You know Dara, I was planning to---"

"You cheated on me," Dara said with strangled voice. Her tears continuously flowing out of her eyes. She's finding it hard to breath as seconds pass. She saw him clenched his jaw. "D-do you n-not love me anymore?"

He just stared at her for a while and released a deep sigh. When he answered, Dara felt like the world suddenly collapsed around her.

"I know I've said it to you, but I just realized..." he said while looking straight to Dara with deadpan eyes."..I lied. I never loved you... never"

"Mommy?" Dara snapped out from walking back the memory lane when she heard that little voice beside her. "Why are you crying? Are you ok mommy?"

She put her palms on her wet cheeks and wipe her tears. She didn't realize she was crying.

"No, baby." She shuffled her son's hair and kissed his chubby cheeks. "Mommy is fine. I'm just nervous about coming back."

"Oh.. why mommy? Are there bullies there? Did they hurt you?" her son's eyebrows furrowed while looking up at her. She just chuckled and hugged her son.

"I will not let them hurt me again, baby," she said and released a deep sigh. I will never let them hurt you... never.
