Description
Xiao Nai and Wei Wei are two individuals brought together by an online game in the drama series "Love O2O". They were portrayed by the friendly and outgoing Yang Yang, one of the most loved actors in China and Zheng Shuang, a reserved, often misunderstood actress who just wants a simple life. Will love translate to real life or will the two just leave it onscreen?

This fanfic will give an insight on how Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang are after the phenomenon that was Love O2O, how the series affected their lives and how fame brought and kept them away from each other. Hu Yi Tian (Chen Jiang of A Love So Beautiful) is also part of this fanfic. There are talks of him starring in a new series with Zheng Shuang so I thought he'll be a good addition to this fic.
This is purely a work of fiction, of a mind that is so hung up over the series and YANGSHUANG (Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang shipping name) that it needs to create a delusional story. Don't take this so seriously. :)
Foreword
"Yang Yang, we need you on stage in 5."
Screams of anticipation fill the auditorium. A sea of fans gather, mostly females, carrying banners with a familiar face on each one. This is a normal sight for me, an everyday routine I go through.
"In 5, 4, 3, 2... "
Step by step, I walk into the light. With each stride, the sound grows louder. With each step, the lights glow brighter.
Halfway through the stage, I see her, walking slowly towards me. Nothing much has changed. Though she has gained some meat on her, she's still the same Wei Wei - shy, awkward and innocent Wei Wei.
"Everyone, let's meet our Xiao Nai and Bei Wei Wei... Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang!"
She smiles, that awkward smile that amuses me until now.
"You look healthier." I'm so happy you're feeling better.
"My back doesn't hurt as much. I eat better too."
"Yeah. You cut your hair." You're more beautiful than ever.
"I wanted a change. I hope it looks good."
"It's suits you." You've always looked good.
"Shi shi ni, Da shen."
Da shen. Her word puts a smile on my face. Until now she calls me master.
"Anytime, my dear wife."
I chuckle seeing her eyes grow big. She still gets surprised until now. She looks ahead, probably avoiding my teasing gaze.
I smile as I recall the events that led to now. Who would have thought we'd be standing here? A year ago, we met each other through a reality show. We were part of Divas Hit The Road 2. Back then I was insignificant, just a pretty face trying to make it big. She was being paired to Jing Bo Ran as I was to Chen Yi Han. We each had our storyline, even had our own conflict.
But in the end, we overcame it all and became good friends.
"The thing I like most about you is that you can always smile to us no matter what difficulty there is."
I smile as I remember her words at that time.
"That impressed me every time...
"... and I've come to like you more and more."
It was the first time a girl has said those things to me. Back then I didn't know what her words meant to me.
"I think you are filled with positive energy and you love to share your feelings with others."
It is as if she's known the real me. In a short span of 20 days, she's uncovered the true me.
"You're a person I can talk to and a friend worth making."
I thought she didn't care. I thought all my efforts were put into vain. Yet, there she was silently observing, quietly appreciating.
And in that moment in front of her, I felt significant.
"I'll be very happy if we can work together in the future."
And now, here we are. It is as if fate has this planned all along.
No longer Bei Wei Wei and Xiao Nai.
Just Zheng Shuang and Yang Yang.
