"Mommy! There is no more cereal!" 

"Baby, I'll do groceries later and get you cereals okay? Eat you're eggs first." Mina shouted from upstairs as she irons her daughter's clothes. She rushed downstairs to check on Chaeyoung, her daughter.

"Come on sweetie, get ready for school" 

Chaeyoung was still upset with not having cereals so she did not move. 

"Please baby, you will be late" This made the little girl move since she was never late for school.

Mina cleans the mess her daughter made and prepared Chaeyoung lunch box.

The little girl went to school while Mina went to her job as a sales agent. She has a fair amount of salary that can support both her and her child and her boss and co-workers are pretty nice so Mina loves her job no matter how stressful it can be.

"Everybody, we will have a company dinner and everyone is recquired to attend." Chou Tzuyu, Mina's boss, said.

Mina raised her hand to speak and everyone's attention was on her. "Ma'am my daughter will be alone if I don't go home early. Can I just join the next one?" she said shyly. 

"I'm sorry Mina, I can't allow you. This will be our first ever dinner together. I need you all there. If you want, I can recommend you a sitter" 

"A baby sitter?" Mina thought, she never once had a baby sitter to look after her daughter because she feels like she can't trust anyone but right nr herow she needs to. 

"Ok come to my office" Tzuyu said after Mina agreed.

"Take a sit" Tzuyu offered once Mina is inside her office.Tzuyu handed a calling card to Mina.

"Nayeon huh?" 

"She's a great baby sitter and she really love kids" 

Mina is still contemplating on hiring Nayeon after leaving Tzuyu's office.

"Well here goes nothing" Mina dialed Nayeon's number hoping the girl would pick up. After three rings, someone picked up.

"Hello?" said the voice on the other line.

"Um, H-hello. I got your number from Tzuyu, she's my boss, she said you're a great babysitter and I actually need one right now." 

"Oh Tzuyu, yeah she is actually a friend of mine. Want me too meet you there so we could talk personally?" 

Mina got nervous, she does not like meeting new people but she does not like to hire the girl unless she met her. "Ok, you know where Tzuyu works?" 

"Yes, I'll text or call you when I get there."

Mina waited for Nayeon outside the building when the girl texted.

"Hi, you're Mina right?" Mina just nodded, she find herself not being able to talk when she saw the beauty in front of her.

Nayeon smiled, "well let's first go inside." The girls went in, Mina following the other girl like she's not the working there. 

"Hey Tzuyu, can we borrow you're office. We'll talk about the babysitting job" Tzuyu nodded, making Mina confused. "They're that close?" Mina thought.

"Can I ask how you and Tzuyu knew each other?" Mina said after not taking for a while now.

" She's my ex" MIna's eyes widen while Nayeon just smirked.

"So will you interview me?" 

Mina adjusted her posture and sat straight. "How many years have you been a babysitter?"

Nayeo thought for a moment, "It has been 3 years"

"Tzuyu said you like kids, is this true?"

"I love them, too bad I can't have them." That caught Mina's attention.

"I'm infertile" Nayeon said when Mina could not speak.

Mina was dumbstruck. The news rendered her speechless.

"I-I'm sorry" 

Nayeon chuckled, "Why? Are you the one who made me like this?"

Mina could not laugh at the joke, she was too busy feeling sad for Nayeon. Having a baby is the best thing that could ever happen to a woman and Nayeon was deprived of that kind of happiness.

"Look, yeah it is sad and at times I hate my life for it but that is why I'm doing this job. I may not have a baby but I can take care of other's baby for them. It's the closest thing I have at being a mother." Nayeon smiled sadly after explaining.

Maybe it was the sympathy that made Mina do what she did. She hugged Nayeon tightly which surprised the other girl but after recovering from being shocked, she hugged back. Usually Nayeon hated peoply pitying her but with Mina, it feels okay. She loved the hug, it feels warm, filled not only with sympathy but also with compassion that she never felt with anyone ever before.

After a few minutes, Mina let go of Nayeon.

"Why are you crying?" Nayeon asked concerned.

"Sorry, I did not know I was crying" Mina wiped her tears away.

Nayeon smiled, she felt her heart beat. "So am I hired?" 

"Oh my gosh, I completely forgot. Yes you're hired." Mina explained to Tzuyu everything that she has to do and where she needs to go.

"I'll be back after the dinner ends. Will you be able to do it?" 

Nayeon nodded, "Leave it to me!" 

Mina's worries washed away when Nayeon smiled at her. She felt like she could trust her and that Chaeyoung would be safe with her.

Mina stayed at work while Nayeon went to pick Chaeyoung frm her school.

"Hi, you are Nayeon right?" a little girl with short hair asked.

"Yes and you are?" Nayeon smiled sweetly at the little girl in front of her.

"Chaeyoung" said the litle girl.

Nayeon studied the Chaeyoung's features and noticed the similarities, "So you're Mina's daughter. You're very pretty"

Chaeyoung covered her face, "that is not true" 

"Yes it is"

"No" 

"Yes"

"No"

Nayeon chuckled at how cute Chaeyoung is when she's shy. The two went to Mina and Chaeyoung's house together.

"You're mommy asked me to babysit you for awhile, did you know?"

"Yes, actually my mom send me a picture of you so I would know who you are" Chaeyoung showed Nayeon a stolen picture of her.

"Wow" Nayeon did not even notice Mina grabbing her cellphone a hile ago, she was so focus on Mina;s face.

"You're mommy is very smart for doing that" 

Chaeyoung smiled smugly, "Of course she is".

The two got to know each other as they waited for Mina. They talked about Chaeyoung's dream of being an artist, her talent in singing and her developing crush on her classmate named Dahyun.

"She is so cute and very friendly and her smile is perfect!" Chaeyoung said lovingly as she describes Dahyun.

Nayeon was happy that the little girl is comfortable enough to tell her this important details in her life.

It was almost 10pm in the evening when Mina arrived back home. She saw that there's no one in the living room.

"Nayeon, Chaeyoung" she called out but no one answered so she climbed upstairs and saw the door on Chaeyoung's room was open and the light is on. She went in and found Chaeyoung beside Nayeon, they were both sleeping and Chaeng was hugging Nayeon's sides. She felt tender when seeing them and can't helpt but go closer to them.

She sat on the bed and stared at them sleeping peacefully. She can't help but stare at Nayeon, she looks so cute and serene. Mina tried tucking a strand of Nayeon's hair to see the girl more but then Nayeon woke up  so Mina quickly pulled her hand away.

"Um H-hi" 

"Sorry, I fell asleep when reading Chaeyoung a bed time story" Nayen said rubbing her eyes to get rid of the sleepiness.

"I-it's okay" Mina quickly stood up, "I'm going to get your pay", Nayeon followed Mina at the first floor. 

"Here you go" Mina handed the money.

Nayeon accepted it, "so how did your dinner go?"

"It went great, I haven't had fun like this since Chaeyoung's dad left us"

"Really?"

Mina nodded, "Yeah, I've been so busy taking caring of Chaeyoung, but it's okay as long as it is for Chaeyoung"

"But how about you?" Nayeon asked worriedly.

"I'm happy as long as she's happy"

Nayeon stared at Mina longer than usual, "Come here"

"Huh?"

Nayeon pulled Mina in for a hug "Let it out"

Mina blushed at the sudden physical contact, "What do you mean?"

"You've been so busy with your daughter that you did not even let yourself feel sad and hurt. You tried so hard to be strong for her that you forgot to be weak. It's okay, I'm here. You can let it all out."

From these words, Mina felt tears streaming down her face. Sher never knew she needed this, a hug. She needed someone to comfort her. She buried her face on Nayeon's neck. They stayed silent.

"Thank you, I did not know I needed that" 

"You're welcome!" Nayeon smiled showing her cute bunny teeth that Mina likes. "Well should I go?"

Mina shook her head, "Can you please stay here for a while?"

"I love to"

They sat on the sofa in the living room. 

"How was your day with Chaeyoung?" 

"She's really fun to hang out with, she's smart, funny. She's cool like you!"

Mina blushed, "Like me?"

"Yes likey you. You're awesome. Being a single mom but still able to raise Chaeyoung well." Nayeon said sincerely.

"Thank you! You're awesome too"

"Yeah right"

"You are, being able to handle not having a child well and not giving up on life, or blaming it on anyone"

"I had to accept it." Nayeon said sadly.

"You know, if you ever want to treat as your child, you can do that to Chaeyoung. We can be both her mommies, I really need a help in raising her" Mina suggested.

"Really, you'd allow me to do that?"

Mina nodded, "I feel like I can trust you and that she's safe with you and I think Chaeyoung texted me a while ago asking if you could be her babysitter forever"

Nayeon laughed, "she did  huh? well I don't want to let Chaeyoung down"

"Is Chaeng the only one who wants me around?"

Mina looked down, "I like to see you too"

Nayeon did not quite hear what Mina said since she sounds like she's whispering. "What?"

"I said I want you around"

It was Nayeon's turn to blush, "Then I'd love to be around you and Chaeyoung"

And that was the start of their blossoming relationship.
