Teddy Park meets the Carters, a struggling African American family from the hood of Detroit. He is falling for one of the daughters. D'Essence Carter. And it all started with her and her family moving to South Korea from the USA . . . .
Because it JUST so happened that her mother used to be good friends with YG! He finally gets back in touch with her, hears about their situation and thier past, and invites them to....Seoul!

D'Essence wasn't a dancer or a singer or anything....but she just admired different languages (like the Korean culture and language). She wanted to become a translator when she got older. She could already speak English, Korean, some Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and French. Korean was her favorite.(Her mother called her a weird child sometimes...she's just smart)
She'd always wanted to go to Seoul, South Korea and maybe even actually study there. But she thought, who has enough money for that?
Then she meets YG not even knowing how famous he is for YG Entertainment until she gets there...
She meets and befriends 2NE1 and Big Bang (can't have a great fan fic without them, now can we?)
Then she meets Teddy Park and the rest of 1TYM . . . . .
Foreword
"So...what's the deal? Why did you come to pick me up today?" she asked.
I hesitated and thought about it and watched her drink her cappuchino.
The truth is, I wanted to see her. I want her trust. A part of me tells me I shouldn't though because I'll be getting myself into a lot of her business...
Main Characters:
D'Essence Carter: Age 18, African American, has a bit of an attitude and can get pretty cold and distant sometimes but she usually has her reasons. She's actually kind of emotional but she hates to show it. She has a bit of a dramatic past. Okay, a huge dramatic past. But only her family, Asha, Devin,( and soon YG) know. And she likes to be called Dee for short.
Teddy Park: part of the group 1Tym, has a huge tough side towards his co-workers but is actually kind of caring. He ends up having a huge soft spot for D'Essence afterall. They don't really like each other in the very beginning but you'll see what'll happens. Age 22.

Other Characters:
Monica Carter- D'Essence's mom, loves her kids. Overworks herself sometimes.
Diana Carter- D'Essence's older sister(very relaxed and chill, great to go to for advice), dreams of becoming a chef. Great cook. Age 20.
Shayla Carter- D'Essence's younger (sometimes dramatic) sister, she fights with her sisters sometimes but they always make up, she has always been interested in performing arts, but they never had the money for that kind of stuff. Age 15.
Kenji Carter-Their cousin(goes with them to Korea, he has a girlfriend who moved there because of her dad's job) Yeah, he's weird sometimes. GREAT and EXTREMELY TALENTED DANCER. Age 20.
Asha Jones- D'Essence's Best friend for life. Her and D'Essence almost hated each other once because of something that happened between them and their parents. She is extremely gifted in doing hair.
2NE1(Park Bom, CL, Dara, and Minzy)- When they meet D'Essence, they automatically click and end up friends.
Big Bang(GD/Kwon Jiyong, TOP/Choi Seunghyun, Seungri/V.I., and Taeyang/YoungBae) - GREAT friends with all people of YG Entertainment. They really care for the Carters.
1TYM- Teddy's group, The four members are: Oh Jin Hwan (오진환), Park Hongjun (박홍준, known as Teddy Park), Song Baek Kyoung (송백경), and Im Taebin (임태빈, known as Danny). Leader Teddy and lead vocalist Danny (Taebin) moved to South Korea from the USA when they were accepted under YG. The two had already known each other, and later met Jin Hwan and Baek Kyoung during their trainee day, then officially became 1TYM.
You'll meet more of the characters during the story~ Btw this is my first asian fan fic story, please comment and let me know what you think about it :)
This fan fic has a lot of AMBW(asian men/black women) relationships in it. It will feature more than 3 different MAIN couples. <3333 And don't worry. This story isn't going to end for a long time. :) I have a lot of ideas for it.
This is D'Essence's, Diana's, Shayla's, (and kind of Kenji's) love story.
