Monsters, Robots and Kim Taehyung (BTS x Pacific Rim)
Description
So no one asked for this...but here's a pacific Rim x BTS fanfic! Basically it's BTS in giant robots fighting monsters and bonding and stuff. Some Taekook, Namjin and Yoonmin for good measure. A lot of Kim Taehyung because I'm biased. And a pinch of cameos from other groups EXO, GOT7 etc.
No idea what Pacific Rim is? No problem! It's basically about giant monsters appearing and attacking the earth vs. giant robots with people inside. That's the whole plot, it's like Gundam but stolen by Hollywood haha.
This is actually my first fanfic on the site... and my first piece of writing in 10 years holy hell sooo... yeah... be kind? :)
Foreword
The year is 2036, The Pan Pacific Defense League (dudes in suits) have held back the tide of Kaiju (giant monster aliens) with their new young Jaeger (big robot) pilots. But while they get ready to go on the offensive everyone else is still fighting to stop the flow of random breaches that keep appearing worldwide.
In 2035 Asia created the Territorial Kaiju Management Program, basically a fancy way to say every country for themselves. South Korea enlists all able bodied men and woman between 18-30 for pilot training and selects the best to become defence squads, like BTS.
Assigned the southern island of Jeju up to Busan they patrol one of the most active breach areas and hold the current record for kaiju kills. Led by Kim Namjoon you'd expect him to be a cigar smoking bad , but really he just wants to keep the team together and have time to work on his music. In fact most of the time...he honestly just wants a strong drink…
