The head Alpha woke up, today was the day that his packs annual bonding festival started. His pack was busy getting ready for the numerous visiting packs to arrive. The Alphas built the temporary shelters while the Betas and the Omegas cleaned and prepared food for the many feasts that will take place.

Chanyeol, the head Alpha had a special project as he does every year. He built the altar for the final night of the festivities, the bonding Altar that he, himself stood at to complete the process of binding the new couples together for the rest of their lives. He handcarved the ornate details, this latest altor was truly a work of art. Something pushed him to put in extra effort this year.

Chanyeol was called the “Match Making Alpha”. He came from a long line of Alphas that were blessed with the ability to detect the underlying scent that no one else could detect, not even the fated pairs.

He could sniff out the scent that was very subtle but each of the couple possessed that proved that they were destined.
