I felt the cold bullet before I saw it. My eyes fell onto the staring jet-black eyes of the wielder. Yoongi. Those eyes that were once filled with so much passion and purpose instead were replaced with bitterness and hatred. The only resemblance to my ex-lover was the shell the bitter soul inhabited. Yoongi was gone, it was only proxy Enmity now from D-93 standing in front of me. Those icy words that he spoke just moments ago made me feel sick. Yoongi spoke as if I was a stranger to his life when in the past few nights he’s been as close to me as it is possible for two people to be. Was I less of a human in his eyes now? A target that he just succeeded in killing off? I saw a smirk form on his sinister lips, the cold wind insulting my skin together with the unforgivable rain. Light shining from the billboards, advertising the protectors whilst the D-93 building in the distance illuminated us.

"Min Yoongi." I managed to breathlessly state, his soulless eyes gleaming in delight as blood poured from my gunshot wound, my vision becoming blurry as I struggled with breathing. One more step and I would be falling off the rooftop, it was a miracle that the force coming from the M1A Short Range rifle did not knock me off the building. The grief surged with every expelled breath, reaching a higher peak when the realisation of what happened finally sank in. He took his orders without a second thought. Min Yoongi, no proxy Enmity become a hound dog of D-93. He betrayed me, our plan.

Tears began to spill from my hopeless eyes, Captain Lore appearing from the shadows, gazing at me with his pitying eyes, only fuelling my emotional distress.

“Kim Namjoon.” I hissed at the figure in hatred. They all have betrayed me.

I had no time to say anything else before I was falling from the kick of the second bullet. My perception of time becomes distorted, everything slowed down, my aptitude of time trying to invade as a form of self-defence but it was no use. Yoongi's sadistic smile was the only last memory, burning at the back of my eyeballs as the night sky above me seemed to be slowly swallowing me whole. My hands reached out, grasping for the sky hopelessly, for Yoongi. Everything becomes a blur, it was inevitable and all I could do was to close my eyes and allow myself to be surrounded by the infinity.

D-93 succeeded in killing me off, both from their advanced division and Yoongi’s life.

Proxy Ire was dead.
