Foreword

Yo guys, another traineeau and this time, it is Wenrene ;P Well... how can I stand to miss out Wenrene, my babies ToT 

Why did I choose Counting Stars as the title? Only because I was inspired by Jessie J's "Who you are" cover by Wendy. Wendy has said in an interview that Jessie J is her idol and that she finds herself somewhat "healed" whenever she listens to her song. (P/S forgot which interview it was) So here you are... Counting Stars. 

"Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart"

Additionally, Counting Stars is also the song title by One Republic so yeah... it could go either ways :) 

I've said this in my other one-shot and will say it here again. Since this is a one-shot, multiple events would be spliced together in short narrative scenes. Hope you guys will have an enjoyable read.

While reading this, I couldn't help but wonder how was the real Wendy when she was a trainee. My baby sure did have a hard time but I was relieved to know that she had amazing friends there.

So yeah, thanks for making Wendy happy here T____T My tears were close to come out but nahh it said not this time >.< hahaha

Chapter 1: awwwww stargazing is nice. i did it with my dormfriend when its late night. that would be the one i missed most in my hs life i guess

Chapter 1: I saw this story earlier but I didn't manage to find a nice and quiet moment where I could really have some peace and quiet to read through it slowly. Now that I have I must say your writing has once again melted me. I could see the scenes going through my mind and I loved how it all played out. I never understood why Wendy doesn't get more love and how sad that she is obviously not as confident about herself unlike the rest. But I take heart in how Joohyun seems to have a little soft spot for her. I have always liked the universe and planets as well as stars. This is going to sound childish but don't you find those glow in the dark stars especially soothing to stare at in the silence of the night?
