“Do you remember, when we were kids and you asked me why I kissed your lips? I told you because I seen my father kissing my mother, but that wasn’t true. I did it because I explained to my father that I suddenly felt weird around you, but not at all in a bad way, just a different kind of way. He told me that I must have been feeling love, so I asked him how I would know for sure. He told me, that if I kissed you and felt an electric spark, then I would know that you’re the one I should never let go.

I didn’t believe him of course, not until I kissed you anyways, just to see if it were true. You felt it too, the electric zap of friction between us, I know you did, because you jerked away and rubbed your lip. I held onto my father’s words until I was a teenager in science, when I finally understood what had happened, why we both of us got zapped so painfully. Yet that must have been fate right? There must have been a reason why it happened at that exact moment… It had to have meant something…

When he left us for that new job, I felt so lost. So horribly lost Terra, because my mother refused to answer to his name, and so she didn’t explain things to me like she should have. So, I ran to you, because I felt like I understood the world when I stood beside you, that I could get through that awful time so long as you were with me. Like a parasite I fed from you, drank away all your strength as you just smiled and let me do it, disregarding your own life for my sake. I didn’t question my love for you after that month, I knew it was true. I was in love with you.

I didn’t know how to act around you anymore, and you blew it off as the side affects of my father leaving, but suddenly that didn’t mean as much to me. I tried to avoid you, but you found me anyways. I tried to run, but you ran so much faster. You wouldn’t leave me alone, and eventually I learned to simply be myself when I’m around you, because watching you chase me was hard and sad. I shouldn’t have ran away from you, I should have turned around and embraced you back and explained why I was acting so weird.
