My first class of my first official day as a Hogwarts students was Potions Class. I heard all about Snape from Yongguk, and somehow Snape was more intimidating than Yongguk had described him as. The good part was, Jongup was in my class, as well as a couple of the girls who were sorted before me. I think their names were Sujin and Gabi, one was definitely Slytherin and the other was in yellow Hufflepuff robes. I sat next to Jongup, eager to tell him about the friend group I was invited in to, and wanting to know if he wanted to be apart of our group, since he was the first nice person I met here.

I got to class early enough that I could speak to Jongup before class started. “Hey Jongup!” I said, sorting my books and getting my inkwell and quill out.

“Hey Junhong, how did your first night in your house go?” He asked.

“Pretty well, I made a new friend. His name is Yongguk, he's a 3rd year and he invited both of us to hang out with his friends after our classes and study.”

“Oh, sounds cool! Can I bring my friend?” He gestured to the girl in Slytherin robes besides him. She smiled sweetly at me as I nodded. I've always thought “the more the merrier".

After sweating profusely for an entire class period, dreading Snape calling me out in class, it was finally over and I had escaped without any troubles. Next up was my flying class with Professor Hootch. I grabbed my broomstick and headed to the flying class. Yongguk told me everything would be okay in that class if I payed attention. Flying was always something that seemed so cool to me, so paying attention was easy. The only distraction was that cute Hufflepuff girl was in my flying class. She was trying hard to get the broom up off the ground, but it ended up nearly hitting her in the face a few times. Lucky for her, she had good enough reflexes to dodge the broomstick just in time before it made contact with her face.

Once class was over I decided to walk over to her. “Hi! My name is Junhong.”

“Oh, hi! My name is Janina.”

“I couldn't help but notice you were having some problems with getting your broom up.”
