The rain outside was so strong that all you could see in the window was water washing over the glass like a waterfall, with a sigh you stared outside although you couldn't make out anything because of the blurred view. The studying material laid sprawled on the desk, you and Baekhyun had been studying the whole afternoon. 

It had been so quiet that you had almost forgotten about his presence until he made he made himself acknowledged again by placing carefully a headset against your ears, toning out every other sound but the current song blasting in your eardrums. Startled by the sudden action, your face snapped towards his, he was giving you a boyish grin as he kept his hands on the headset, sliding them slowly down to your cheeks. His hands felt warm and smooth against your cold skin, it was comforting and you almost leaned into his touch but a big part of you was still too shocked by the fact that Baekhyun was touching you like that because best friends don't touch each other with that kind of affection. Right?

Your heart threatened to explode when his lips suddenly collided with yours for the shortest minute ever. When he drew back, the words that resounded in your ears something in you.

"I want to raise your spirits, I want to see you smile,"
