You can call it LOVE

Description

It was a bright sunny day. It was different from last night where there were big droplets of water being heard dropping to the roof. It seems like a normal day but it wasn’t for the six girls. After so many years of living together, they finally decided to live separately. Everyone is growing up, and everyone needs to live alone sometime in their lives. They talked about this for a long time, and it wasn’t a bad choice either. People sometimes need to be alone to learn more and explore life.

The sounds of the empty closets being closed and full huge baggage being zipped forcefully can be heard from the two apartments.

“Is that all? Are you sure you didn’t forget something?” Bomi asked Namjoo.

Bomi stood up, clapped her hands as she got rid of the dusts from her beautiful hands.

“Yes. Thanks, unnie!” Namjoo said, checking her baggage if it was locked.

“Chorong unnie! We still have some kitchen supplies here. Why don’t you bring it to your apartment so you can use it?” Eunji said as she opened the kitchen cabinets one by one to check if there are still things and supplies that can be used. It would be a waste if they will put it to trash anyway.

“Eh? You should keep it! You’ll be living alone, Eunji-yah.”

“I will buy mine, unnie. Keep those...” Eunji plead, as she knows Chorong won’t accept anything.

“Unnie, text us if Bomi unnie doesn’t go home, okay? I’ll scold her,” Hayoung finally opened because she knows Bomi doesn’t go home often these days. Chorong might be lonely, so she should at least visit her once in a while instead of gaming all day, she thought.

“As if you can, Hayoung-ah.” Chorong said as she laughed to the maknae being concerned to her.

“I’ll do it then!” Eunji said. Aside from Chorong, she knows she is one of the people who can scold Bomi since they have the same age.

“Tsk,” Chorong smiled unconsciously, “You know, she’ll go home if she wants to.”

“I know. But still…” Hayoung then pouted like a kid.

Eunji, Namjoo, Naeun and Hayoung left the dorms. Eunji bought a new house using her own money, while Naeun, Namjoo and Hayoung decided to stay at their parents’ home as it was not that far from their old home. On the top of that, Chorong and Bomi chose to live together.

“Bom-ah, let’s drink soju!” She said as she couldn’t help being sad. They lived together for years, she might be not used to it yet.

“Why soju now, unnie? I thought you only like beer?” Bomi scratched her hair, looking at Chorong closing the door.

“Nothing. Please?”

It was almost midnight and there were three empty bottles of soju on the table. Bomi was still wide awake, thinking why Chorong drinks so hard, and still holding the fourth soju bottle on her hand. It was new to Bomi’s sight. Her Chorong unnie won’t drink like that, or maybe unless she has a problem that she couldn’t say to her.

“Unnie... Hey, stop drinking.” She held the older girl’s hand to get the bottle of soju just before she started drinking it again.

“What are you doing?” She unconsciously asked. She felt frustrated seeing Chorong in that situation.

“Yah, Bom-ah. Can you not go out for a month? No, no. Two weeks? Even one week?” Chorong asked, eyes half-closed. She was drunk.

“What? Unnie, what are you saying?” As she was Pabomi, she couldn’t get anything.

“Let’s go to bed. Come on, it’s late.” She bent down in front of Chorong, waiting for her to get on her back. She was not that tall to carry her, but strong enough to bring Chorong to her bed.

Chorong leaned on her back, arms hugging her neck. Bomi started to stand up and walked to her Chorong unnie’s bedroom. It was clean as ever. Well, compared to her room.

She was about to walk out the room and close the door, when she suddenly realized that she hasn’t slept to this room for a while. When was the last time? She couldn’t even remember. She was always sleeping next to Chorong whenever she’s scared or just whenever she wants to. Smile formed her lips as she remembers waiting for Chorong to text her on kakaotalk asking her to sleep next to her.

Unconsciously, she walked to Chorong’s bed and laid down beside her. She looked at the ceiling.

“When was the last time I slept here?” She closed her eyes to think, but she couldn’t remember. She looks at Chorong who was sleeping cutely, and smiled.

“I can’t even remember when was the last time we had dinner together. Wow. I’m such a jerk.” She said as she hit her head lightly.

“Unnie, hey…” She looked at Chorong who was sleeping like a baby. It was still the cutest view for her. It was very different to her scary Chorong unnie.

“Bom-ah...” Chorong said, seems like talking in her sleep.

Bomi didn’t do anything. She answered, “Yes?” and waited for Chorong to talk again.

“I’ll change the passcode if you don’t go home early tonight! Aish, this girl!” Chorong shouted, eyes still closed.

Bomi looked at Chorong who was surely mad at her, “There’s someone waiting for you at home! Why won’t you go home!? Aish…”

She couldn’t help but chuckle. Chorong was mad at her because she doesn’t go home often these days? That’s new. She smiled. She found it really cute and she couldn’t help herself but to hug Chorong very, very tight.

“Okay. I won’t go out with my friends for three days. Three days is a lot, you know?” she smiled to herself and absorbed Chorong’s scent. She missed it. She should sleep more with Chorong, she thought.

The sunlight reflected on the window made Chorong wake up. Her head was surely not fine after drinking a lot last night. She sat down on her bed, only seeing Bomi’s feet, making her realized that Bomi was sleeping beside her the whole time.

“Why is she even sleeping here…” She said, almost standing up. But then a soft hand pulled her, ending up lying on the bed again.

“Unnie…” Bomi said with her morning voice, huskier than her normal.

Bomi wrapped Chorong in her arms, smelling the top of her head.

“Wow, unnie. You smell so good, I can smell you whole day.” Bomi said, looking down at Chorong’s face, smiling cutely.

“Ahh! Let go of me, Yoon Bomi!” Chorong shouted, slightly punching Bomi’s chest. “Come on, aren’t you going out today?”

“You said not to go out though.”

“I said?” Chorong asked, making Bomi nod.

“What did I say?”

“It seems like you don’t want me to go out because…” She tilted her head, “You miss me, unnie. Don’t you?” Bomi smiled cutely waiting for Chorong’s answer.

“Shut up,” Chorong looked at the other side but Bomi’s thumb made her look at her again who was smiling widely like an idiot.

“Eyy, unnie! Why are you denying it? You’re so cute!” Bomi said as she laughed because of Chorong’s facial expression. It was rare seeing Chorong like that!

“Come on, unnie, let me give you a kiss.” Bomi said as she softly held Chorong’s chin and kissed her slightly on her lips.

She couldn’t help but to smile like an idiot after seeing Chorong’s reaction to what she just did. And she giggled when Chorong finally gave up and started smiling cutely as well. Chorong hugged her and hide her face to Bomi’s chest.

“Thank you… for staying.” The older girl spoke.

“I love you, unnie. I’ll stay with you until I die.”

“Bom-ah…” TT

“Don’t you think we should move too? To a smaller house with only one bedroom maybe? So we can cuddle all day!"
