Feng Mian lost everything to the new king.

However, that didn’t mean that she wasn’t loyal to the throne. Her father, her father’s father and his father had been loyal soldiers to the throne. She came from a family of the best fighters in the kingdom, all who had been loyal to the king. She was the exception. The usurper who called himself king had stolen everything from her. There was no way she would ever be loyal to the tyrant on the throne. 

The year’s rice harvest had succumbed to disease, the rivers had dried up, and the people died of starvation in droves. Feng Mian dedicated herself to helping those she could, living as a renowned dancer and as the vigilante which stole from the rich and gave to the poor. However, when an uprising results in the death of almost all of the royal family, her life is turned upside down once again.  The tyrant king is replaced with someone even worse, and she teams up with the displaced second prince to place him back on the throne.
