Description

Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun meet - albeit virtually - when Seulgi accidentally sends Joohyun an email about her pet pig, Perk. The two seventeen-year-olds strike up an e-mail relationship, even though they don't know each other's first name.

In a witty and unforgettable correspondence, Seulgi and Irene share details about their lives, hopes and fears. But they don't tell each other everything: Seulgi doesn't know the secret hidden in Joohyun's family tree, and Joohyun is unaware of Seulgi's life in the spotlight.

Seulgi creates an opportunity to spend time in Joohyun's tiny hometown, taking their relationship from online to in person.

Chapter 3: Oooh, so they kept in touch and messeged each other regularly after the first time. This makes me ridiculously happy, for some reason. Joohyun gets the fuzzies when thinking about their correspondance, I can't wait to see how their face to face interactions are going to go - hopefully a little better than in ''You've got mail'' ;) I'm thinking Perk is going to play an important role here.

I love this, I feel for Seulgi and I'm honestly impressed with your writing (and theirs, because the e-mails are literally making me giddy).

Patiently waiting for the next installment.

Is the above in quotes from the novel or yours? Because there's a sad and quiet beauty in its somberness. In some surreal way, it touched me.

OMG, for someone my age, I should not be feeling this excited. But I do. I feel so excited having read this chapter. It is SO GOOD.
What I want to know is: how close is this to the novel? I mean, are these words your own? I would be so sad to find out if it was too closely aligned to the novel. I want this to be yours. Maybe the overall concept is from the novel, but I want the words to be yours and yours alone. I don't know why. Maybe I have to read the novel. But it won't be the same because it won't be Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun falling in love with each other. It just won't be the same.

I don't even know what I want to say or how I even want to say it. Just that ... I really love what I've read so far and I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest.

I wonder why Joohyun decided to e-mail Seulgi again, after a couple of months have passed since the mishap - maybe I shouldn't call it a mishap, since it's definitely a fortunate accident ;)

Chapter 1: I've never read the book nor heard of it, so I have no idea how much you're going to base this fic off the novel but what I have read thus far, I like! It's cute; especially the pet pig, Perk. Very cute name! And their online interaction sounds very endearing, too.

May I ask how long you intend this story to be? Keep it up because I can tell it's going to be really great!

Chapter 1: Somehow this is how i imagine seulrene will meet if theyre not in the same group or a celebrity.seulgi the clumsy who unconsciously flirt with stranger online which happen to be joohyun.i actually avoid to read nor subscribe to this story at first.only because i cant handle angst seulrene and ur foreword screams angst.somehow my curiosity got the best of me and here i am.i hope all ends well.
