“Get in the bathtub, hurry,” Dahyun shouts as she rips off the covers of their mattress. She looks out the window and she can see a storm a mile away, the sky looks angry and disastrous. The trees begin to bend, they’re on the verge of snapping.

Sana runs to the bathroom, getting into the bathtub, her heart beats rapidly.

Kim Dahyun pulls the mattress off the bed frame and drags the damn thing.

“Are you okay?” Dahyun loudly shouts.

“I’m here,” Sana yells back.

“That’s not what I asked,” Dahyun mutters as she continues to drag the mattress to the bathroom.

The lights flicker and black out, causing Sana to wave her hand for Kim Dahyun.

“I’m here,” Sana yells, repeating herself.

An out of breath Dahyun runs to the closet for the rope, leaving the mattress temporarily.

“Hurry,” Sana yells as the wind makes the windows clatter and house shake.

The wind blows harder as each second passes and the cracking of the wooden floorboard becomes louder.

Kim Dahyun passes the bathroom and throws the rope in. With both hands, she pulls the mattress by the handle, finally dragging it into the bathroom. Trying to be as quick as possible, she ties an end of the rope onto the mattress handle, and knots it against the bathroom pipes.

Pulling the rope with all her strength, she double knots it again.

Sana nervously watches her.

Dahyun flips the bed onto the tub, covering it.
