Yoo Jeongyeon wakes with her roomy Hirai Momo excitedly staring and smiling at her.

“Goodness,” Jeongyeon suddenly says as she turns away to yawn.

“Did you like…not sleep the whole night?” Jeongyeon asks as she turns back around to look at Momo.

“Or did my snoring wake you?” Jeongyeon asks now facing her roommate.

“Happy Birthday,” Momo whispers and scrunches her nose, smiling, and ignoring Jeong’s questions.

“I just woke up not too long ago,” Momo informs and cheeses.

She’s so excited to celebrate with Yoo Jeongyeon that she wanted her first words of the day to be a greet.

Jeongyeon swallows and inhales. She lies comfortably, unsure of the time. But not like it matters because today’s her birthday.

Hirai’s greeting makes Jeong smile.

“Thank you,” she chuckles and turns around to lie on her back.

She closes her eyes and inhales, not wanting to fully wake up yet.

Hirai sits upright and shuffles through her hair. She loves birthdays because celebrations are fun.

“Wake up,” Momo says since she already has something planned for Jeongyeon’s birthday.

“Hm,” Jeongyeon mumbles with eyes still closed.

“Happy birthday,” Momo whispers, again, face nearing Jeongyeon.

This time kissing her on the lips as the birthday girl’s eyes are closed.
