The Desert Butterfly
Description
When a group of Asian boys show up at their school, two girls find themselves at the center of a war between good and evil. Are things like they seem, or do the twelve boys have secrets waiting to be uncovered? This is a story about friendship, hatred, betrayal, promises that need to be kept and love that needs to be protected, even if it means breaking the bonds of time and remembering what is supposed to stay forgotten.
Foreword
"It is hard to know what is true or false.
We only believe what we see through our eyes.
So people do not believe each other,
fight each other, and hurt others.
Like this, human beings are not perfect,
but this is the reason why we are so special.
However, we people are sometimes very dangerous.
We care about each other,
but we also hate one another.
When one’s truth collides with others’ truth,
so many things get destroyed.
Is that why?
This is the reason why we have them.
From now on,
I will tell you from when they have existed
and where they are.
And the truth lies all around us.
The twelve stories that I will tell you from now on,
Are the truth that people did not know.
These are, as you are imagining,
stories from the past,
stories from history."
