“Eomma, Appa, I want to move to Seoul to look for jobs. I want to be like Hani and Jieun, now they live and work at a Sunhwa Company in Seoul. Can I move there? Please!” I ask them pleadingly.

”Yeoreum-ah, eomma and appa will always support you in every way. It’s been a year since you were graduated, and yet no job landed, i think it is a good idea for you to try Seoul” Eomma said this with a long pause. “But you have to promise us to always take care of yourself, you will be all alone in Seoul. You know no one except your bestfriends,”

”Where will you live then?” my appa asked. “I will only let you go when you have a place to stay.”

”It’s been taken care of, appa! I will move in with Hani and Jihye, they live together in an apartement in Seoul. They said it’s not big but it can accomodate us three.”

Even though my parents interrogate me like the police, they are very open-minded. They let me and my younger sister do things that we liked ad long as not disobeying rules.
