Matching Error

Description

In a society where government is controlling everything, from one’s lifestyle to occupation to marriage, how will two souls will meet when they don’t match in the eyes of the matching system.

Foreword

 

 

It was early morning. The foods are already delivered and it’s in the doorstep of every houses. It is completely labeled, with the name of the person who it was for, the amount of ingredients used, and other details that describe why that person needs to intake it. A loud alarm and morning message is playing in the town’s speaker as a sign for the people that another day has started and they need to do every activity that their portal shows. As the Council said, everything is planned for the welfare and harmonious life of every people.

 

Everything seems ordinary and in order for the eyes of every citizen of the town, but not in the house of Lee’s. Together with the breakfast delivery is a letter of invitation for the Banquet. A feast that held every 3 years for every young man and woman with age of 17-20 years old are invited. It is no ordinary night. It is the day where they will Match to the man/woman who they will marry. The time where they finally see who is the perfect person for them to be with, based on the system’s of the Council.

Hi guys! I'm Hana and this is actually my first fanfic to write (and... I hate myself for writing a Dystopian fic cause I know it will be damn hard to write). Anyway, English is not my first language and you might find some grammatical errors upon reading so please forgive me. Other than that I don't have time to proofread cause I'm still in college and things are getting stressful... so, I appreciate if you will have some time to correct my mistakes. :)

This is actually inspired by "Matched by Ally Condie", it is a great dystopian trilogy. You might notice some similarities but I promise that I will try my best to do some unique storyline in here. 

Main couples are:  markhyuck, nomin, taeten, dojae, johnil... actually I'm still thinking if I can add the other nct members cause obviously they're so many and it is not easy to write a fic with so many characters.

It’s really important to set the story mood and flow right and for the readers to get used to the story setting is important so take your time. We don’t mind waiting.

Chapter 2: Don't worry author-nim, exposition really takes a while because it's very important. As a reader (and writer) I don't want to rush things without making myself (or my readers) familiar with the overall setting and ambiance of the story. I think you're doing a good job taking your time to explain the whole system. I'm so excited for the next update. Fighting! And also... I'm typing this from the grave, I died after watching BOB

Chapter 1: i really like the idea of this story! i really like how this chapter is written and i wasnt bombarded with infos and unknown words but keeping enough of it under mystery to get people hook and read more, hoping to read more of the incoming chapters.
