Taeyeon stared at her daughter playing well by herself, by now her features are all grown. She has Tiffany’s eyes, Taeyeon’s beautiful lips and her mummy’s tall nose. Taeyeon’s infatuated with her little girl’s features, “I can’t believe you are one soon. Where has the time gone?”

“What are you two doing?” Tiffany said while coming out of the shower. “Nothing…” Taeyeon said softly while continuing to look at Rosie. “She’s one in a few hours.” Tiffany said while holding onto Rosie’s hand, the little girl who can’t play with her toys now just stare at her mummy. “I love you Roseanne…” Tiffany whispered, Rosie smiled at her and moved and a string of incoherent words poured out. Taeyeon chuckled, “Are you telling mummy you love her too?” Rosie continued to talk, unable to take it anymore Taeyeon leaned down and gave her daughter a loud kiss on the cheeks. Rosie turned to her umma and giggled, “Nae, I know that feeling umma’s lips feel good right?” Tiffany teased and Rosie squealed.

Tiffany played with her daughter’s hair while Taeyeon looked onto them, “Take care of her, I need to make her milk.” Taeyeon left those two and Tiffany smiled down at her little precious nugget, “How could it be one year? It’s like a few months ago you came into our lives, mummy can’t live without you and your umma. If I knew having a child is so beautiful, I would have you sooner. I love you so much Roseanne, words can’t show you how much mummy loves you.” She took Rosie’s hand and kissed it gently not caring if its wet with saliva. They have noticed recently when Rosie smiled with her eyes all curled up, she looks like her mummy. But when she is not smiling, she looks like her umma. Yuri called her the best combination of genes , and Tiffany was very pleased with that comment. But to Tiffany, Rosie looks like her umma. “After your birthday, umma and mummy are going to spend some time together. Without you. Halmeoni and haraboji will take care of you alright? You will be good right? You are an unnie now, all your other friends are still babies, you are one years old!”

“I’M BACK!” Taeyeon barged into the room and climbed onto the bed quickly while waving the milk bottle in front of her daughter, Rosie got all hyped up and start moving her legs and hands trying to get to her milk. But Taeyeon kept pulling out last minute making Rosie whined and started making noise, Tiffany then reached out and snatched the bottle away making Taeyeon pout that her playtime is over. Tiffany guide the bottle into her daughter’s mouth and felt Rosie on her bottle hard. “You really enjoy eating huh?” Tiffany asked softly while Rosie’s cheeks. “Just like you…” Taeyeon laments. Tiffany glared at her wife playfully, “This is your last bottle of milk before you turn one.”

Both of them enjoyed the silence as Rosie enjoys her milk, their eyes met and they kept holding each other’s stares. “Congratulations Fany… a year as mummy.” Tiffany leaned forward and hooked her arms around her wife’s neck, “Congratulations to you too yeobo, we did it. One full year as mothers.” She pecked Taeyeon’s lips and stared into her wife’s eyes. “You still take my breath away, did you know that?” Taeyeon suddenly blurted out while staring into her wife’s features, the surgeon guffawed and ended up spitting on her wife’s face.

“YAH!” Taeyeon called out, but Tiffany was laughing like crazy.

“I’m sorry! But it’s so funny….”

“What is so funny? I was praising you!” Taeyeon said while wiping her face.

“I was staring so lovingly at you and I thought you would say something .. but not as cheesy as that. I’m sorry…” Tiffany rushed to clean her wife’s face and kissed her face repeatedly. “And you are still the most handsome woman I met…” Tiffany said while showcasing her perfect eye smiles to her wife, immediately Taeyeon was smitten all over again. Rosie giggling broke them out of their state, they looked at her and found their daughter cackling happily holding her bottle of milk. “Laugh beautifully, why are you opening your mouth so big like Yoona emmo?” Taeyeon commented and already has her wife hitting her arm, “She laughs like you! Out of everything! She got your stupid ahjumma laugh!”

“Ouch!” Taeyeon winced and immediately the surgeon stopped hitting her wife and went to kiss her arms, “Why are you getting so violent recently?” Taeyeon asked, while massaging her arms. “I don’t know, I just feel so emotional as nugget grows up…”

“Is it going to get worse? If it is I should get life insurance and check if it covers spousal abuse!”

Tiffany pouted and slammed her body onto the bed, while staring up at her wife with her big eyes, “Don’t look at me like that, I won’t fall for it. It hurts!” Taeyeon tried to find a justifiable reason. “Rosie… look at your umma. She don’t love mummy no more.” Tiffany complained and Rosie started staring at her mummy weirdly. “Why are you looking at me like that Kim Eun Seon!?” Tiffany said loudly as Rosie stares at her mummy.

“You feel sorry for umma right? Mummy is wrong and she won’t say sorry.”Taeyeon said to her daughter and kissed her cheeks. But at that moment Rosie crawled to Tiffany , “YAH! Whose side are you on!?” Rosie let out a loud laugh and kept moving her body around. Taeyeon look at the time, “Arasso calm down, go to bed.” She held her daughter up and slowly changed Rosie into her pajamas but Rosie seems to be too happy to be sleeping.

“Baby… your birthday party is tomorrow afternoon. You want to sleep well and be pretty tomorrow.” Taeyeon pacified and Rosie crawled onto her umma’s body. The latter just held her daughter tight against her body, “Almost one year ago you are still inside of me, now you are ontop of me , climbing all over me.” She land pecks on her daughter’s soft face and watched as Rosie smiles at her. “ I love you so much Kim Eun Seon” Taeyeon cradled her daughter and softly sung her daughter a song while Tiffany looked on , Taeyeon swiped away the messy hair covering her daughter’s beautiful face and softly pecked Rosie’s nose, “Happy Birthday my nugget… this year has been the best year for me. Thank you for choosing us as your mothers and giving us a family.”

The next day , Tiffany woke up first due to excitement she turned to her left and was greeted by her sleeping wife and daughter. She chuckled and leaned down kissing their fluffy cheeks, spending a few extra minutes kissing her daughter’s face. “Happy Birthday my beautiful daughter…. I love you so much.” She then left the bed and started preparing for the main event of today, she took out the outfit she prepared for her family. Due to this special event, Tiffany actually went to Jessica’s boutique and have the fashion designer herself to design her family’s dresses. She had her beautiful turquoise long dress with plunging neckline ready, Taeyeon’s light blue dress and Roseanne’s beautiful blue and white dress. She begged the designer to think of a theme and colour scheme for her, thankfully Jessica nailed it to the dot. She haven’t showed her wife yet, but she knew her wife would look stunning in it and her daughter would look beautiful in it. She squealed quietly and tried to hush her own voice, she took a look at Taeyeon and Rosie still sleeping and quickly put away the dress and started to get ready for the big event. She quickly got herself ready and head down to the venue fr some last minute check up. She sent her wife a text and resumed working hard for her daughter’s big day. She made sure Taeyeon and Rosie changed into their dresses here so she can have the first look at her girls. She entered the venue and was already enchanged by the work of the event planner, she chose an enchanged wood theme for her daughter, there was a lot of wooden tables and chairs with many plants across the table with a beautiful white tent made out of muslin sheet with a table and a beautiful cake already on display. She walked towards the cake and took some time to admire the beautiful cake made by the Chois. Once again they proved themselves as the greatest bakery in South Korea, Soo Jin unnie made little Rosie her one in a million cake, a blueberry cake standing almost two feet high.

Tiffany rushed to the caterers and took a last look at the food , after making sure everything was fine. She made final check up with the reception, there was a big wreath with her daughter’s name on it and her age. And there’s a little greeting card for every guests to write down their greatest wish for her daughter and a potted plant as a thank you gift for the guests. Yuri and her family were the first to arrive and Jessica was already gushing at the beautiful arrangements , the whole venue was filled with little candles and lanterns looking like an enchanted forest. Tiffany took a look at the Kwon girls and found the three of them in matching white Bohemian dress style, “Here you go…for you three.” Tiffany put on head wreaths on their heads , Hailey looked so much like a fairy her umma couldn’t help but kiss her cheeks. “You are so beautiful…” Yuri whispered to her daughter and kissed her eyelid while Hailey huddle closer to her umma. But the twins seems not satisfied with the head wreath, they kept shaking their head, in the end Tiffany have to get the wreaths off and traded them with a pair of slip on wings. Jessica shook her head as the twins settle down in their seats and was playing with their own toys, “To be honest, do you have a pair of devil wings?” She said nonchalantly and have her best friend slapping on her arms.

Soon Taeyeon arrived and was just like the Kwons, she couldn’t help but let out gasps when she entered the venue. She couldn’t think that the end product would be this beautiful, it was like she was transported into an enchanted forest. “Wah…. Nugget look what mummy did for your birthday. It’s pretty right!” Tiffany blushed at her wife’s compliment, Taeyeon reached forward and kissed her wife’s cheek lightly, “You did such a great job baby!”

“Let’s change into our dresses…”

“Let’s go. I know you definitely prepared something for us.” Taeyeon said cheerfully and held her wife’s hand gently while walking into the changing room. Taeyeon could not believe her eyes when Tiffany took out her dress, it was a white sleeveless top with a blue butterfly skirt decorating the long white skirt. It was stunning. “Who?”

“Jessica Jung of course…” Tiffany said smugly.

“What about yours?” Taeyeon tried to pry open her wife’s dress but was stopped.

“You need to wait and see..” Taeeyon pouted, but Tiffany stood firm.

“You want to see our baby’s dress?” Tiffany asked. Taeyeon nod her head and looked on as her wife opened up the plastic wrapping, Taeyeon gasped again. It was beautiful. A white and blue princess dress with its lacy frills and puffs. “Ppani-ah… our daughter will look so beautiful.” Taeyeon whispered and leaned forward taking her wife’s lips into her own. They ignored their daughter for a few seconds and was engrossed with their kiss. “I take that you like my idea…” Tiffany whispered. Taeyeon nod her head, “You did great Ppani… I love everything you do.”

“Gotta thank Jessica Jung for another awesome creation then…” Tiffany joked and Taeyeon kissed her wife’s lips again. “You are amazing Hwang Tiffany…” Tiffany laughed and hugged her wife tight against her body. “Let’s enjoy our day today.”

“Rosie did you like your party today? She woke up grumpy today because you’re not there.” Taeyeon said and Tiffany quickly swooped in to carry her daughter up, “My nugget is grumpy?” Tiffany asked and Rosie was smiling again. “No she’s not! She’s happy and excited!”

“You miss mummy? Say yes…” Taeyeon said and Rosie nod her head up and down hard. Tiffany was delighted, “You miss me? I miss you too Rosie boo..” She kissed her daughter’s fluffy cheeks and watched as Rosie laughs happily in her arms. “Mmma…mma mmee”

Both Taeyeon and Tiffany were stunned, they looked at each other. “Rosie-ya…. Say it again.”

“MMa…mmee” Rosie repeated

“Did she just say mummy?” Tiffany asked

“Mma..mmee…. mma mmee” Rosie kept repeating while opening her arms wide open for Tiffany. Tears flowed down her cheeks and she held her little girl in her arms kissing Rosie repeatedly on the lips. “Say it again please…”

“Ma mmee… ma mmee..” Rosie said slowly trying to articulate her words. Taeyeon was tearing up, she held her girls closer to her body and gave them a kiss on their forehead. “Happy Birthday Roseanne Kim, you made your mothers so so happy everyday.”

Taeyeon dressed herself and was slightly taken aback by how good she looks, ‘Damn Hwang… you know me so well.’ She thought to herself as she twirled in front of the mirror , it was simple and elegant. Just her style. She walked out of the dressing room and stride towards her wife, Tiffany already knew her wife would look stunning in the dress, but when Taeyeon walked out, she was blown out of her mind. She stood up holding Rosie in her arms, “Wow…”

Taeyeon giggled and twirled in front of her wife, “What do you think?”

“You look so beautiful Tae Tae”

“Thank you Mrs Kim, you look amazing!” Taeyeon couldn’t tear her eyes off her the plunging neckline. “Gosh if you were pregnant, your s will look so much bigger.” Tiffany glared at her wife but the latter didn’t seem to mind, her brain is already picturing her hot wife with a baby and bigger s. “Babe… we said before. We will wait till Rosie is much older before considering a second child..” Tiffany said softly. “I know…but I can already picture you pregnant with our baby. It will be the most beautiful sight ever.” Taeyeon kissed her wife’s cheeks lightly and smiled.

“Let me have a look at the birthday girl! Uwaaa… Kim Eun Seon is so pretty!!” Taeyeon gushed and Rosie displayed her teeth for her umma to see. “Wow… so pretty teeth.”

“Arasso, let’s get out. Guests are starting to arrive.” Tiffany dragged her wife and daughter out of the changing rom. True to what she said, the guests are starting to arrive, without wasting time , both Taeyeon and Tiffany went straight to the guests and thanked them personally for making it to their daughter’s big day. Many left beautiful wishes for Rosie and was clearly enjoying the beautiful view.
