“How’s her condition today?” Yuri asked Hyoyeon who just came back from the hospital. “She’s fine. Was conscious for a while but she was in too much pain, the doctors sedated her again.”

“She’s slowly gaining consciousness . How are we supposed to tell her about her mother?” Sooyoung asked while sitting down. Hyoyeon just shrugged her shoulders. She already submitted all required documents for the adoption process and right now she’s waiting for the court orders to proceed with the next step. 

“Do you think it will be better if we have Krystal to talk to her? Since she’s her principal and she knows her?”  Hyoyeon suggested, Yuri nod her head.

“I think it’s better this way.” Hyoyeon sighed 

“You told Nicole about the adoption?” Sunny asked , the blonde woman just nod her head. “What did she say?”

“She was just quiet... nothing much to say about it.” Hyoyeon said dejectedly. “Give her some time buddy, you dropped the bomb on her like this.” Yuri said trying to cheer her friend up.

“Enough about me... where’s the other Kim midget?”

“Still in Busan...” Sooyoung said while scrolling her Instagram feed.

“Ji Ji ? Have you told her?” Hyoyeon asked Yuri

“I did. She broke down a little but she promised me she will take good care of Mina.” 

“How is it with you?” Jessica asked Nicole boringly while patting Nana to sleep.

“I don’t know what to feel...”

“Are you prepared for this?” Seohyun asked

“I don’t know what to even think of this situation...”

“Hyo unnie already submitted all documents to the Family court. She’s just waiting for a date for the social workers to come and interview. Will you be there?”

Nicole sighed and took a shaky breath , “What should I do now?” She asked the two woman in front of her.

“Only you can decide for that. Your motto remember , que sera sera” Jessica replied 

“I don’t want a wailing newborn. Yet Mina is ... her situation is too tacky.”

“She requires a lot of counseling, love and attention that of a newborn.” Seohyun interjected . Nicole groaned startling the twins , Jessica glared at her friend. “You see?! That’s why I don’t want kids!” Nicole cried out

“So you don’t want Hyo anymore too? Since she is definitely taking Mina in.” 

“That’s the thing! I don’t know!”

“Why are you so afraid of responsibility? You’re a CEO for goodness sake! What’s with this running away stint?” Jessica scolded her.

“Because we didn’t plan for this. We did plan abit but I didn’t expect it to be going in this quickly.” 

“Do you think I plan for this?” Seohyun said coldly while pointing to her stomach.  Nicole looked away while Jessica smirked.

“I didn’t plan for any of this. Nor the trouble that comes with it. But being pregnant is the best thing that ever happened to me. Having a child is magical unnie regardless of how when where why they came.” 

“Nicole , que sera sera. Whatever happen happens. So you know what, this child is meant to be yours so que sera sera, take some time with the child and see where it goes from there.” Jéssica advises
