“She is already out of this house.” Jessica sighed and took her phone out , sending a text to the said girl.

Jessica sighed and showed the message to her wife , Yuri exhaled loudly. This is slowly getting out of hand. “Seohyun needs to speak to Jung Yonghwa.” Jessica lifted her head from her wife’s shoulder and stared at her.

“They need to talk. I am sure Yonghwa did it to be with Seohyun. And if our maknae didn’t make it clear with him, there will be more issues coming our way.”

Yuri exhaled loudly through her nostrils, Jessica hugged her wife. Not a really pleasant way to spend the festive season. “Let’s go back to our daughter. I need her now.” Yuri whined to her wife and burrow her face into her wife’s neck. Jessica chuckled and hugged her wife hard against her. “Let’s go.”

Both of them walked hand in hand into their room , they opened the door slowly and peeked at their daughter playing by herself on the bed.Yuri decided to scare her daughter, she jumped into the room shrieking , Ji Ji who was playing peacefully was frightened and started screaming. Jessica couldn’t help but fall onto the floor laughing while clutching her belly.

“UMMA!!!” Ji Ji shouted out of anger. Yuri quickly ran to her daughter and hugged her. “Mianhe. Umma is just playing with you.”

“You shouldn’t do that. I got scared.” Yuri kissed her daughter’s pouting lips.

“Mianhe…”

“Look , you make mummy on the floor.” Yuri whipped her head back and saw her wife still laughing on the floor. She quickly went to her and slowly get her up on her feet. Jessica was still gasping for air , “Oh… my… oh my god… that was so..so funny.”

“Not funny mummy…” Jessica started another fit of laughter at her daughter’s pouting face. Yuri smiled staring at her wife. She leaned in and kissed her wife’s mouth to stop her from laughing too much. “ I love you.”

“Don’t get all sweet on me Kwon Yuri..” Jessica said and brushed Yuri’s hands off her , but her face was blushing hard.

“We need to start preparing now to see Dr Han.” Yuri reminded her girls

“I know. I’m prepping our clothes and then we will go for a shower” Jessica waddled into their wardrobe and picked out their outfits. Yuri stared at her wife picking out their outfits , she just fall in love more with her wife. “Are you excited to see the twins?” Jessica’s voice woke her up from her thoughts.

“Of course. I want to see how the terrible duos are doing.” Jessica laughed at the nickname her wife gave their twins. “Terrible duos. We are in it for the troubles they are bringing in.”

“Oh…why is there a half done scooter here?” Yuri asked.

“Oh…some subscriber got it for Ji Ji. I tried to assemble it for her. But I was too tired to finish it for her.”

“I will do it. Don’t do it yourself. Don’t tire yourself out.” Yuri nagged at her wife. Jessica just nod her head and pushed her wife into the bathroom. She called out for her daughter and the little girl skipped into the bathroom. Stripping on the way but the shirt got stuck on her head.

“Mummy…” She muffled to Jessica. Yuri coulnd’t help but record this moment with her camera. She put the camera down and wrapped her daughter up in a towel and hold her up. “You little chipmunk.” Yuri kissed her daughter’s cheeks repeatedly. Ji Ji puffed her cheeks up and let her umma kiss her. She swayed her daughter’s little body side by side , making Jessica drool as she was just in an oversized t shirt and a pair of underwear. Her cheeks are out.

“Mummy put the song…” Ji Ji said suddenly.

“Who let you listen to such music ?”

“Yoong emmo… she sang that to Seohyun emmo.” Yuri sighed at the mention of the maknae couple. She hugged her baby close to her.

“You like that song?” Ji Ji just nod her head.

“Do you know all the lyrics?” Yuri asked

“She don’t. Just the last words of the sentences.” Yuri chuckled at the information her wife gave.

Yuri laughed while holding her daughter close. “Don’t get jealous Sica… she just loves me more.”Ji Ji burrowed her head into her umma’s neck and sniffing her umma’s scent.

Yuri pointed to her daughter and sang the last words loudly while slowly bouncing to the rhythm. Jessica finds it sweet that her wife and daughter are so loving towards each other. Yuri couldn’t help but land kisses through the towel on her daughter’s temple while her daughter was so carried with the song. Yuri gestured her wife over and Jessica walked over with the camera focused on their reflection on the mirror. She wrapped one arm around her wife’s huge belly while moving her body to the beat of the song. Jessica trained her eyes on the mirror and her girls.

“Yah.. you’re tone deaf like umma.” Yuri daughter. Jessica slapped her arm , “Don’t say that. She can train her voice.”

“Umma, mummy when I grow up , I want to be like Red Velvet’s Irene!” Yuri bulged her eyes out. Jessica tried hard to not snicker at her wife’s reaction.

“You want to be a singer?” Ji Ji nod her head

“You want to be in tv?” Another round of nods.

“You can be whatever you want sweetheart.” Jessica said breaking Yuri out of her trance. She stared at her daughter and tried to imagine her daughter training so hard , controlling their diet , restricted life , no time for family and friends. She shook her head.

“Aniya… we can’t let her be a singer. She will lose her privacy and all. And what will people think of her , oh she can be a singer because her umma is so rich and owns an entertainment agency.” Yuri whispered harshly to her wife.

Jessica calmy took her daughter out of her wife’s hold and ushered the girl into the shower stall. She the shower and instructed her daughter to stay there and stay put. She turned to her wife and held Yuri’s face in her hand , “Calm down. She’s still a kid. She changes her dream everyday. A few days ago she told me she wants to be a professional ballet dancer. Today she wants to be a singer. Tomorrow she wants to be an astronaut. Just support her in whatever she wants to do. And if in the future she still wants to be a singer then we do our best to support her.” Yuri looked away .

Jessica held her wife’s gaze , “Hey , she’s our daughter. Somehow our kids will always be scrutinized and be put under the microscope. Every action they do will have people talking about it. It’s the harsh reality that they have to understand. The best we can do and the best they can do , is to be themselves. And to understand that you can’t have everyone liking you .There will always be people who will be jealous of them , who will not like them. And what can we do? We can only prepare them to accept the fact that there will people who loves you , and there will people who do not like you. Yuri-ah , we walked our own paths. Our parents let us be. We should let our daughters be too. Don’t worry so much , we will be their sanctuary , when the world outside is too harsh there is always umma and mummy who will give them warm hugs , kisses and cuddles.” Jessica hugged Yuri and ran her hands on her wife’s back. She heard Yuri sighed loudly and tightened her arms around the tanned woman.

“I know you do.” Yuri felt her twins kicking and chuckled.

“Let’s get into the shower. The terrible duos are already worked up.” Jessica chuckled and walked into the shower stall.

Seohyun still remained in her fetal position, refusing to move still clutching onto Yoona’s shirt. Her tear soaked pillow , she heard someone coming into the room. She lifted her head and saw it was Taeyeon. The petite woman sat nearby the edge of the bed , her hand shot out and Seohyun’s hair.

“Maknae-ah…” She called out softly.

“Seohyun-ah , it wasn’t . From what Kangta oppa and Vic unnie said , he didn’t put anything in your drink. He just gave you a lot of strong alcohol and you were walking with him into the room.” Seohyun whimpered and clenched Yoona’s shirt closer to herself.

“Sica already told Yoona.”

“Yoona has the right to know. If it’s , then she should come back because it’s not your fault. It’s his. But if its something you two willingly do together. She needs some time to further digest this news. Don’t get angry at Jessica, instead think back about the events these past few days.”

“Isn’t it?” Taeyeon’s tone was curt. She was beginning to get irritated at Seohyun’s attitude at trying to play the victim here.

“What are you trying to say unnie?” Seohyun asked coldly

She waited the whole night for you , and you …. You came back with your unruly appearance. Throwing everything you ever had with Yoona away. So stop. Stop crying.
