I Liked It In The Rain
Description
He was 20 when he first found out about his illness, 22 when he was declared healthy enough to resume most of his regular activities, and 27 when it came back again full force.
By that time, he’d looked death in the eye so many times that he was no longer scared of it anymore, only scared of leaving those he loved and cared about, leaving him whom he’d learned he couldn’t be without.
Foreword
He’s running down a dark passageway. His footsteps echo on the walls and his heavy breathing is the only sound ringing through his ears as he travels through the dark abyss.
There’s no visible end to the passage, but he can’t turn back because the road behind him has already disappeared.
He keeps running.
Because it’s the only thing he can do.
