02 Start of a lie...
Silent Love (I'm sorry)“Another cake for your Joohyun?” Seulgi teases SeungWan as she enters the kitchen with a tray of used cutleries, placing it next to the dishwashing machine.
“It’s her favourite!!” SeungWan replies his tone fills with his affection towards Joohyun. He leans against the working table, looking at the cake which is slowly rising in the oven. The colour slowly turning golden brown upon the heat.
“Carrot cake? Can I have some?” Seulgi asks, showing her watery puppy eyes to SeungWan. She leans on the working table, propping her head up with her palms.
“Not this one…” SeungWan teases as she smears some left-over batter in the mixing bowl onto the tip of Seulgi’s nose. The bear-like girl was taken aback by his action and stumbled back a little. When she was able to stabilize herself, she too got some batter from the mixing bowl and try to get some onto the latter face as a fun revenge. But the latter manage to hold onto her arms, preventing the batter to get on to her.
“Alright, stop this now. Or else, we are going to be going home late!” SeungWan comments. Upon the comment, Seulgi looks at the clock on the wall. It’s already near 9 pm. But who will miss this opportunity? Taking the chance, Seulgi smeared the batter on SeungWan’s cheek before running off to finish whatever she needs to do. Leaving SeungWan to sigh in defeat at his childish friend.
Seulgi is SeungWan’s best friend. They’ve met each other since middle school and have been together since. When SeungWan was courting Joohyun, Seulgi will always be next to him. Offering ideas. Encouraging him. Being his mental support. After graduation, the duo opened up a café where they currently worked at. Lavender is the café’s name. For they want their customers to relax in this slow-paced, silent environment just like the meaning of the flower and their properties…
SeungWan sat down as he waits for the carrot cake and the arrival of his love. He took out a small purple velvet box from his pocket. Open it revealing a ring. A very simple, and soon-to-be meaningful ring. The ring was just a plain silver ring
