It’s quiet. Too quiet, if you ask Eric. But then again, no one really asks Eric for his opinion. Speaking of Eric, he lays on his side with Hyesung sleeping quietly beside him. Eric stares at the alarm clock and then slowly begins to glare at the numbers looking right back at him. He nearly hisses, but restrains from doing so because-- and he quotes Hyesung-- no matter how hard Eric tries, he can “never become a hybrid of a lion and a shark. It’s unrealistic.”

It’s too quiet for Eric, and he rolls off the bed as quietly as he can before scratching his head and he tiptoes to the bathroom. After finishing his business he mentally debates whether or not to lay back down or go make some coffee. The latter wins this battle and he slips his slippers on as he happily makes his way downstairs. Just as he’s about to descend the never ending flight, he hears what he’s been anticipating this whole time--

“Waahhh!!”

Eric dashes back upstairs and heads to the source of cries. It’s a pink room decorated with all sorts of moons and stars on the ceiling while the walls are painted with hills and suns and flowers. In the center of the bright room lays a crib, and in that crib is none other than his first and only granddaughter, Jung Bommie.
