Hongdae, a place of youth, arts, music and design - no doubt many young koreans hang out in this area where it was guarded by the arts university, Hongik University. 

Irene was a student in Hongik University, she was the top student and graduated with honours in fashion design and visual marketing. She then worked extremely hard under several fashion designers before she earned enough and set up her own fashion brand, called "Kitscht". Kitscht is Irene's fashion brand where she designed uni clothes with kitsch and retro vibes to her designs as well adding her own finishing touch to every piece of her clothing. She had started university later than usual due to lack of funds and due to her poor family background. However, her hard-earnt money over the years have managed to ease off her family's financial difficulties.

Taehyung was also another student in Hongik University, he studied music because of his passion and hobbies and often he sang at live gigs at bars and restaurants in the Hongdae area. He was scouted by a model agency and hence became a model to where he is right now. Being filial to his parents, he also often hangs out with his group of friends which made him rough and more coarse with his language. However, all in all he was still the geeky boy he had always been - he liked playing video games at home and he liked to read comics and watch anime more than any other guy his age would be doing so. 

Irene and Taehyung met at university - they were young and crazy. They fell in love, got attached for a year before they broke it off when Irene graduated from University. They didn't like each other's company as time passes by. They left each other.
