To the junior college student, the upcoming summer internship is quite possibly the worst choice she'd made the whole year. But hang on- she hadn't met her coworkers yet!  Irene's in for a surprise ride, a summer internship that may just be a few months too short.

This story follows a young college junior's journey to adulthood through a life-changing internship: one that does not lack in friendship, happiness, and heartbreak. Who ever said that you become an adult once you hit 18?! My, you have a lot to learn.

Water lily that embraces the summer sun. 

A bright girl fresh out of junior year of university who is eager to charm and impress. She has a sharp mouth but means well. Has an upcoming summer internship in a company operated by her father's acquaintance, working under Rin for the Human Resource department at the start of the story.

Age: 20

Park Chanyeol

Bush in a summer wildfire.

Chanyeol's bright personality and social skill landed him an interview and subsequently his job at Cha Entreprise, though his qualifications aren't outstanding. He is usually the first to start small talk, and is quick to resolve awkward situations. He is currently in the Business Operations department.

Age: 25

Oh Sehun

Last blooming rose of summer.

Chanyeol's roomate, the second new recruit. A focused and diligent person, he is careful and calculating when dealing with others, earning him a good reputation among management but wariness from his coworkers. He completed his graduate studies in America. Currently in the Risk department.

Age: 23

Kim Taehyung (V)

 Evening primrose that blooms in the moonlight.

Operations management genius who got his bachelor's degree in 2 years and is in process of an MBA. Although he is younger than the two newcomers, he has already been working in Cha Entreprise for two years. His work ethic is impressive and the senior management greatly appreciate his productivity. He is the business Operations Department manager.

Minatozaki Sana

Sakura that blossoms during April. 

Mr. Cha's niece, an energetic highschool senior who is still deciding on her college major. She decided to oserve her uncle's company to gauge her interest in a business major. A very playful and easy-going personality.

Age: 18

Huang Zit​​​​​​ao (Tao)

A rough-looking but homey coworker in the Risk department, who carpools with Taehyung, Sehun, and Chanyeol to go home after work.
