One; The icy water droplets pricked my skin. I winced in pain.

Two; All trace of familiarity no longer lingered in his eyes.

Besides the dim moonlight filtering through the single dusty window in my room, the room was submerged in darkness. An uneasy sigh left my lips as my hand my cheek wiping a warm tear on my cheek.

It was this dream again.

For the fifth night in a row, this was the dream that visited me every time I would close my eyes. Grimacing at the stinging feeling lingering on my chest, I forced my body back on the bed. Even though my heart was still racing, I closed my eyes trying to get some sleep in before having to wake up again later. At this point, I didn’t care who he was or why he seemed to be leaving me.

I already wanted him out of my life.
