The clock stopped. Thirty minutes past six, it was time for Rae In to get up. She felt so much better after getting a long sleep last night. However the pain from yesterday are still there. Her body is aching and the bruise is getting more visible now. Looking into the bathroom mirror she sigh at her horrible face. In fact, the worst.

 

"Now i really look like " Rae In monologue.

 

It was quiet as usual in the apartment. Sehun must be still asleep right now - Rae In thought. Yesterday was a long day for him too. He had done so much for her. He save, take care and even check on her once in a while at night to make sure she sleep comfortably. It touched her heart seeing his effort doing all of that. As to show her gratitude, she decided to cook breakfast for him today.

 

English breakfast is always be his favorite. She makes omelette, butter toast, sausage and baked beans to be served together with black coffee. Being his wife for half and a year, she already know his food preferences. Sehun didn’t like ketchup so he will ask for mayonnaise. He will take two cubes of sugar for his cup. Creamer never be his choice and the coffee must warm because his sport diet plan includes of him avoiding ice in the morning. Everything is done and now all Rae In need is for Sehun to eat. And for that, she got no choice other than personally wake him up in his bedroom.

 

“Sehun wake up. Breakfast is ready”

 

Rae In shake his body slowly in attempt to wake him up. This sleepyhead didn’t show any movement, knowing that he wouldn’t open his eyes sooner. Sehun bedroom is slightly smaller than her. It was minimally decorated with modern furnitures and there is a few of painting on the wall.

 

A corner of the room has a tall display rack for his toy figures collection. On the other side, his study table are still in the same position with a frame of their engagement photo on top of it. Rae In chuckled. Their expressions in that photo was so bitter that it almost look as if they in a funeral instead of engagement party. That was the first photo they took together.

 

“You can simply lie down beside your husband instead of admiring me like that Rae In” She was snapped from the day dreaming when Sehun grab her hand and pull her to bed with him.

 

“Yah! Yah! Let me go Sehun. Who give you permission to hug me like this?!”

 

“It’s me, Oh Sehun your husband. Now shut up before I do the worse to you. Just let us be like this for another five minutes okay wifey”

 

As cliche that it might be, Rae In didn’t even protest on his action. Even in a short time she already had her heart beat faster. Spring has yet to come but she already feel the warmth from his embrace. The comfortable didn’t last longer when Sehun suddenly broke the hug and get up from bed. Drown in the blooming heart, Rae In almost forget about their breakfast.

 

“I can make time for you and even if I’m not free at that time, I could ask help from EXO”

 

“Make time for me by ditching class? No Sehun and I don’t want to burden them so thank you for the offer but I’ll be walking as usual”

 

“Ughh you’re so stubborn Rae In. I knew that you are going to disagree so I prepared a car for you and I’m not going to take no from you. That’s final. Please Rae In I’m doing this for your own good. Let me protect you, at least can you let me do that?”

 

They almost had an argument this morning. Sehun suggested to send and pick her in campus everyday but as expected she refused. It always the same excuse that she gave - to not be seen with the great Oh Sehun. It annoys him sometimes. He personally didn’t mind if people saw them and he always thought why the hell that they have to listen to others? There is nothing to be afraid of what people are going to say about themselves.

Walking into the hallway of Business faculty, EXO as always gains all the girls attention. Sometimes it is annoying how the fangirls will follow them everywhere. Shouting their names and bring gift to them, it is suffocating for Sehun and his squad. Even though they have been rejected several times and with the lack of fan service that the boys shows they didn’t give up. Despite of their ‘I don’t give a fck’ attitudes those girls will keep going crazy for EXO looks.

 

Not giving any attention to s chat Sehun choose to playing game in his iPhone. He always be the quiet one in the group, leaving all the talkative members like Baekhyun and Chanyeol lead the conversation. Whenever they had a topic he mostly nodded and agreed with them. Only to speak once it is related to him.

 

Like today, they decided to sit at bench near campus cafeteria for their lunch. The boys are starting to talks about the last night baseball match which Sehun wasn’t interested in. Once in a while he will laugh looking at them like when Kyungsoo smack Kai head or Suho cursing to Baekhyun for teasing him. But most likely Sehun had his mind wanders somewhere.

 

“Yo Sehun! Thinking about your wife huh?”

 

Sehun was spacing out during the lunch break and s couldn’t help but to notice it. He been thinking on how to find the truth and seek justice for his wife. He wouldn’t be in peace if he didn’t find the culprit of Rae In bullies and it make him feel bad for letting her getting hurt like that. As her husband, even though it was arranged he supposed to protect her and be the one that comfort her during when she is in pain. It is his responsibility and if possible he didn’t want drag EXO in his problems.

 

“Look bro, we are brothers. We definitely going to help you on that matter”

 

Suho reassures him that EXO will help him in no matter situation. With that, Sehun head off to ask the cheerleading coach to remove Rae In from the team. It’s not going to be easy but he will try his best. Meanwhile the rest of the members has been assigned to specific task - to clear out her name. Sehun been telling them that he did this as his responsibility but they knew that their youngest member has plant some feelings towards her.

 

They saw it, how Rae In changed him into someone better and they believed that she is the only person who able to move Sehun heart. It just matter of times for both of them to realize. Who cares about the title of ‘arranged marriage’ when they finally able to love each other? Sometimes in life, we don’t need a good start to have a good ending.

 

“Good game well played. I found the one who sent the thread letters and spread the rumors!”

 

“Tell me now Chanyeol! So that I could personally kill the person who ruined Rae In life!”

 

“Hey hey calm down loverboy. It won’t be fun if we just expose that person just like that. Just wait Sehun ah. It will be so interesting”

 

Chanyeol definitely not joking when he said that it will be interesting, it is. After going through several investigation or more into desperately forced those bullies to telling the truth they finally found it. Xiumin, Suho and Kyungsoo sacrifices their honorary as the good students to break into campus management to look out for cctv footage while Chen was breaking into system to dig more information about the culprit.

 

As if they are on mission, the rest of them spread out to collect information about Rae In rumors that been spread lately. Using their looks and flirty words, the girls easily slipped some words and after combining it they finally got some hints.

 

“So now Sehun it’s your turn to play. Goodluck mate!”

 

Mastermind Baekhyun and Chanyeol has plan everything smoothly and they hope that it will be working. Sehun was asked to go the rooftop of their faculty to meet with someone. He was clueless since had no idea about EXO little evil plan. He didn’t expect anything. Especially when suddenly the person they have been waiting appear.

 

“Sehun oppa! You finally agreed to meet me!” That girl approaching him.

 

“It’s you....how come you did this to her? I’m the one who rejected you! Just messed up with me! Not her!”

 

“What— what are you talking about? I didn’t do anything wrong. I just love you oppa. Oppa let’s get together okay?”

 

“Fck off girl! Enough with the crap! Just admit everything you had done!”

 

Just in time, suddenly EXO barged in together with Rae In. Everything was explained to her and she already aware that the one who caused her pain is that girl who stand in front of her husband. Someone that she familiar with.

 

That girl was told before by Baekhyun to be in the rooftop to meet Sehun. Said that he finally accept and want to confess to her. Being too stupid in love she straightly went there without even realize that she’s been played by the boys game. Their purpose is to let the girl speak out the truth admitting it by herself.

 

“Min Ah. I didn’t do anything wrong to you! Why the hell you did this to me?!” It is Rae In turn to get mad.

 

“Who the fck said you didn’t do anything?! You had everything that I need. You have EXO attention. Especially Sehun! He’s been watching you secretly since earlier! I know he like you! But you are too dumb Jung Rae In. You didn’t even realize it!”

 

“Enough of that Min Ah! It’s the end. Stop bother them! Now I want you to admit for everything you done!”

 

Kai couldn’t take it any longer. All they need is for her to admit.

 

“Huh you guys really care about her huh? Even after I spread rumors about her being around the campus?! Yes! It was me! I’m the one who put the letters inside her locker! And I’m also the one who asked coach to put her in the cheerleading team because I knew they will beat her when I already told them that Rae In speaks bad about the team. Yes it was me! Are you surprise Sehun?! That this little nerd girl that been rejected and humiliated by you capable to do that?! I want Rae In to feel what I felt when the whole campus laughing at me, saying bad things about me. Hahaha do you even realize that everything is because of you Oh Sehun?! It’s not me but yourself! You are the one who hurt her!”

 

Sehun felt like getting struck by the lightening after he heard that. His knees fall into the floor. Suddenly all the regrets come to him. She was right. He never thought about what Min Ah felt everytime he humiliated her in front of everyone. It was a karma for him. Seeing the one he care about getting the same treatment as he once did to other person.

 

Several hours has passed but Sehun seems like can’t digest everything that has been said by Min Ah before. His mind keeps telling him that it was his fault for everything that happened. Even though Rae In said that it was fine and wasn’t his fault but he keep insist it. He locked himself in his room and it’s worrying her. She never seen this side of Sehun and she felt so bad. Couldn’t take any longer, she steps forward into his bedroom. Hugging his knees while buried his head into it, Sehun sobbed silently. Rae In come closer and without waiting anymore she pulled him into a hug.

 

“Just cry big boy. I’m here for you. Always”

 

“Always?”

 

“Yes. Always Oh Sehun”

 

That night when the sky went darker Sehun felt something that he couldn’t even describe. It still unclear but for now he want to remember the blissful night when Rae In be there for him. With a comfort hug that he needed most. It was warm and soothing. A hug that Sehun wouldn’t let go.

Seoul was a beautiful place this time of year. Cherry blossoms were everywhere along the way - it’s time for spring: a lovely reminder on how beautiful change can be. That is what Rae In thought. She noticed the improvement in their relationship and she couldn’t help but to fall for him. She didn’t need to deny the fact that she like him. That is the truth. She knows that giving Sehun all her love is never an assurance that he’ll love her back so she never expect his love in return, just wait for it to grow in his hearts.

 

“Can you not going there Sehun? It will be boring without you here” Rae In pout while tugging her hand into his shirt. She didn’t want to let him go.

 

“You are so cute. Don’t be like this Rae In. Omma please take care of my wife while I’m away okay?” Sehun kissed her forehead and bids his goodbye.

 

“Don’t worry son. Just take care of your business there. Your wife will be safe with me! Have a safe journey!”

 

It was hard to say goodbye especially when they never be apart since they got married. Sehun has a business conference in Busan and he made Rae In stay with his parents for several days. Even though she insists that she will be fine being alone in their apartment, he still worried about that. At least his mother can accompany her there. After those bullies things in the campus Sehun has become more protective over Rae In.

 

She spend her time mostly with her mother in-law trying new recipe that she could cook later in their apartment, having a marathon series in Netflix and even went shopping with Sehun sisters. They took her to the hair saloon for hair grooming and with a little bit of magic touch, Rae In looks has changed. Well not that obvious makeover since she is naturally beautiful. Even with a slight fringe cut it already popped up.

 

‘Not a single message? I miss you Sehun’ Rae In sigh.

 

Three days has passed and Sehun still didn’t leave any messages or phone calls to her. She felt empty. It’s not that she didn’t want to initiate the message first, but she knew how busy he is. He is the heir of Oh group, one of the most successful company in Korea. She just hope that at least, he will call her even for a while. As if the telepathy was sent to her husband, her phone ringing after a while. The caller name that pop up in the screen bring a smile into her face.

 

“Hello Rae In. How are you? I’m sorry for not calling you. I was busy for past days. I’m so sorry”

 

“Hey Sehun. I’m good. How about you?”

 

“I missed you”

 

“Me— me too. Come back soon”

 

Rae In might sound calm but what Sehun didn’t know that she’s already giggling in the bed listening to his voice. She missed him so bad. At three in the morning they were still on the phone. They been listening to each other along the night talking about their activities and some random stuff. It is first time for them to have this kind of late night conversation as if a real lover will do.

 

She never experienced it before and this surely gives a butterfly effect in her stomach. She never knew that being apart with Sehun like this would give her so much impact. The next morning she wake up with a wide smile on her face. She was happy to talk to Sehun last night and she giggled embarrassing of her own feelings. Rae In looks too much like a girl who are in love. It was too cringed for her.

 

“Surprise sister in law!”

 

Rae In was stunned a bit when suddenly she was surprised with seven familiar boys faces in the dining hall of the mansion, ready to have breakfast with her.

 

“EXO?! What are you guys doing here? And where is my mother in law?” Rae In still shocked.

 

“Aunty left few minutes ago but don’t worry she already agreed to let you going out with us!” Chen is the most excited person right now.

 

“Wait— we? Going out? All of us? But Sehun was not here” Rae In looks confused as hell.

 

“We know that. That’s why we invite you join us for glamping!” Kai said.

 

Suho the eldest drive his Range Rover SUV to the glamping site that the boy mentioned earlier. Basically Rae In still couldn’t process everything that just happened. It was too soon. She’s only wanted a breakfast but suddenly the boys ‘kidnap’ her. It was Baekhyun idea to have a glamping - camping but in glamorous way.

 

“I didn’t know that we could actually do camping in the middle of the luxurious resort, Baekhyun”

 

“Duh! That’s why it’s called glamping my dear sister in law! We still do camping stuff but in more sassy way wohoo!”

 

He was serious when he said that they are going to do it in sassy way. It is. The tent is too luxurious to even compare with a normal tent. It was spacious with divider for several beds, full air conditioning with fancy light and decoration and even the bedding was set up using Gucci bedsheet. The girls in SNU is not joking when they said that EXO is super rich. They are.

 

It was awkward at first especially when Rae In was left with them without Sehun. But she adjusted herself well and quickly bond with the boys. Finally they are able to talks and laughing to each other comfortably. Rae In sit in a bench near the barbecue stall while watching the boys having fun. She never had this kind of friends before and she glad that she met EXO.

 

“Ssup lonely girl!” A boy suddenly appear behind her.

 

“Oh my god Baek you scared me! Why don’t you join the rest over there? Don’t mind me being alone here. I’m fine”

 

“Your face was hilarious! Rae In, hey you like Sehun?”

 

“What— what are you talking about Baek? Stop talking nonsense”

 

“You can keep lying to me girl but you know that I’m telling the truth. I know everything. Even since that day. I hope you still remember it”

 

He smirk and left her behind. She know that Baekhyun like to talk crappy things and she decided not to take seriously on what he have said. Plug in her earphones and tune it to Spotify to play her favorite song, Rae In take a night walk in the resort while enjoying night breeze. It so calm and relaxing being here and the moon is bright enough to accompany her. She keeps walking till the end of the lake deck and sit on the ground. She need a little bit time to clear out her mind.

 

“Aren’t you scared being alone at this place? Especially at this hour? Oh Rae In”

 

She was surprised when she heard a familiar voice call her that name. She immediately stand up and turns her head, finally recognize a tall figure with his favorite Balenciaga hoodie standing in front of her. She smile when that person approaching her.

 

“I thought I already told you to not going out alone when I’m not around right? Tsk you look at you clumsy girl. Even your shoelaces was untied”

 

Sehun bend down and start to tie it for her. She stares at his directly but still speechless because she didn’t expect to meet him here tonight as she thought that his business meeting wasn’t done yet. He also didn’t tell her anything about his plan going here. Rae In wasn’t sure on what to do. Her mind telling her to keep calm down but her actions shows otherwise. Without waiting any longer, she grab Sehun arm before throwing herself into his embrace. It was too embarrassing to look at his face right now but all she need is to hug him.

 

“I guess that next time I have to bring along my wife right? She seems couldn’t be apart with me” Sehun pulls her closer and pat her hair.

 

“Shut up Sehun. It is too embarrassing for me”

 

“I couldn’t believe that SNU ice princess has this kind of clingy side huh? You are so cute Rae In”

 

They strolled hand in hand through the garden on their way back to the glamping base. Rae In was blushing hard from that earlier moment and Sehun silently giggles at her. He found that it is cute for her to be like that. It was part of the boys plan to make sure Sehun join them by hook or by crook. Kyungsoo even threatens him to not let him copy his previous semester assignment again if he didn’t come. For him, he more than willing to join when he found out that his wife will be there as well. He couldn’t missed the first ever gathering between Rae In and EXO.

 

They all gathered and having a dinner cooked by Kyungsoo and Suho while the rest is handling the barbecue. Later at night, the play few games including the famous truth or fare game. It started with Baekhyun was dare to slap Suho in his face, Kyungsoo telling the truth that he once date 6 years senior of his age and Kai almost hook up with the girl from gymnastics team and some silly punishment like Chanyeol do pepero challenge with Xiumin. It was too hilarious.

 

“Euwwww you both gross. Next player is Sehun! I dare you to kiss your wife in front of us!”

 

Everyone gulped at Chen sudden dare and at the same excited to see his action. Sehun surprised as well as he didn’t expect that coming out from mouth. He glared at Chen with hidden message like ‘I swear I’m going to kill you after this’ but suddenly stand up and move to Rae In side. He slowly lift up her chin and within seconds she felt his lips on hers. It was too quick but enough to send an electricity through her body.

 

“Wow Oh Sehun you are the real man!” Kai proudly clap for him.

 

“Next time give me something more challenging” Sehun smirk.

 

The night passed with the boys getting drunk and randomly dance to different song, partying as if it is the last night for them. On the other side, luckily Rae In and Sehun are still sober. He took her into the resort suite separated from the boys tent for her to get some rest. He noticed that Rae In was quiet after he kissed her. He know that it was too embarrassing for her but there’s nothing that he could do. He wasn’t even aware what has possessed him at that time to kiss her.

 

They took turns to clean up and ready to sleep. They need to share a bed again since the suite only have a king bed and as always there is no way that one of them willing to sleep on the couch. Sehun is the first one to lie on the bed. He was too tired from his business trip and definitely need a good sleep.

 

“Sehun you must be tired right? Have a good rest. Goodnight”

 

Rae In wish that Sehun could stay up longer and talk to her that night since it’s been few days since they saw each other. But she understands that her husband must be sleepy and need a rest. After bids good night to him, she slowly climbed up the bed carefully not to wake Sehun up. She faces him and stares at his perfect face.

 

Just when she about to touch his face, Sehun suddenly open his eyes and she was startled. They keep staring into each other silently sending message through their eyes. They have been missing each other but none of them dare to say that. Sehun tucked that strand of hair that fell over her hair behind her ear.

 

“Goodnight Rae In. Have a good sleep”

 

If before this he can only did this when she was asleep, now Sehun didn’t mind to express it directly in front of her. He kiss her forehead slowly to the bridge of her nose, both of her cheeks before make move down to her lips. But, he was stopped when his iPhone suddenly ringing.

 

‘Damn spoil! Who the hell call me at this hour?’ He thought.

 

As much as his annoyance just now, his eyes getting wide when he heard the voice of the caller. Someone that he didn’t heard after so long. A voice that he used to longing for years. He stop at his action and rush out getting out from the bed.

 

At that moment, Rae In was more shocked than he is. When she heard the voice of the caller, a woman.

 

“Sehun, I’m back in Seoul”
