It was done and Somi felt relief, Kyungsoo and Chanyeol would take her in for two nights so that she could attend her aunts funeral and Kyungsoo was going to the funeral with her, fully understanding the situation she was in. The only worry she had now was trying not to cry when she could finally tell Jooheon she was going to make it, and Hyunwoo too. The canteen was busy, loud much to Somi's annoyance, but with her dead eyes and tired body, she still pulled through and found her table where Jooheon was seated, rattling something off to Hyunwoo who wasn't even acting like he was listening to Jooheon's drabbles. Somi approached the table, arms crossed nervously and her feet shuffling in small steps until she was stood between the two at the head of the table, biting down on her dry lips nervously.

"Oh, Somi" Hyunwoo easily shut Jooheon up by making the presence of the girl known and they looked at Somi, who was swaying on her feet before them.

"I talked to the counseller" She muttered and both of them perked up at the news.

"And?" Jooheon inquired.

"I'm going to my aunts funeral with a friend" Somi nodded and Jooheon grinned, getting up and hugging Somi when he saw the way her eyes were beginning to water.

"That's great to know Somi. How are you getting there?" The hug broke apart and Jooheon leant against the table with Hyunwoo leaning forward on crossed arms.

"I'm going by train tomorrow" Jooheon nodded as he let out a hum, offering the girl some of his drink which she shook her head to.

"We'll get you on your train" Somi looked at Hyunwoo, Jooheon's eyes following hers and Somi nodded tucking in her lip, only to have to open when she spoke.

"Ok, I would appreciate that"

"Do you wanna sit down?" Jooheon gestured to Somi's usual seat and Somi shook her head, ringing her hands together as she looked around.

"I'm just gonna go back to my dorm now that I've had the meeting"

"We'll come with you" Jooheon spoke up and Hyunwoo nodded, picking up his tray of food as the two boys stood up. Somi smiled softly, nodding as a sign that it was ok for them to go with her. She followed them to the bins where they disposed of their finished lunches and then the three of them left the canteen, ignoring any eyes on them.

"Are you really gonna tell him stuff?" Minjun looked away, shrugging and putting his lips around his straw, clearing his throat before he spoke.

"I don't know, it depends how they behave"

"That's it? It depends on whether they're good little boys and girls?" One of Minjun's friends hissed and Minjun looked at him.

"I don't care about those spellcasters, it's gonna be about how badly I want to see them fall, not them"

"I heard that Somi got into a fight with some other students" Changsub whispered to Eunkwang who looked up at him from his sandwich.

"Did she now?" There were seven of them seated at the table, only one of which who was showing interest in the conversation and had been the one to start the conversation.

"You don't think they jumped her do you?" Changub was wide eyed as he looked at an unphased Eunkwang, who shrugged.

"Minhyuk said she's handling herself in the gym, she can fend for herself against predators" Was the simple response that Changsub was given and Changsub deflated, not wanting to argue with Eunkwang another time. Hyunshik, who sat beside Eunkwang, listened closely as he tried not to let a smile form on his lips at the name of the girl. He looked across the cafeteria, his eyes finding a familiar group of hounds that were yet to give him anything. Hyunshik looked away, shaking his head and pushing his fork through his food as the conversation between Eunkwang and Changsub had quickly dropped and his interest was gone.

But he did look back up to another side of the cafeteria, watching the young girl shuffle on her feet, following after the two taller figures of the shifters to the bins and out the doors of the canteen. He was amused by their natural instinct to stick together as a group, but at the same time, the sight of them made him sneer.

"Your foods coming off the tray" Minhyuk stated casually, bringing Hyunshik's attention back to his lunch, to see he was in fact pushing it off his tray and onto the table.

"I've had enough anyway" He picked the tray up and carried it over to a bin, dumping the food and dragging his feet back to his table where his friends were still talking.

"You'll have to pack warm clothes" Jooheon rubbed his hands together and Somi nodded in agreement.

"I'll turn on the heater when we get into the dorm" She reassured him and Jooheon's dimples poked out at her in response. Hyunwoo followed closely behind them with his hands in his pockets, his shoulders raised closer to his ears as he watched the pair converse casually. But his breath stuttered and his blinking prolonged when Somi turned, looking over her shoulder to make sure he was following them.

"Do you like hot chocolate?" She asked him in a voice that was more deflated than he had ever heard her speak, so he nodded as an answer to her question, his face not so blunt as he looked at her.

"Sure"

"Good, we'll have some of that too" She spoke and Hyunwoo should have known it wasn't specifically to him when she looked at Jooheon to clarify it with him. Hyunwoo felt his body relaxing when she turned away, though he was still stiff from the cold air around them.

"Oh Changkyun" Jooheon bounced on his feet towards the said male who was stumbling out of the building they passed. Changkyun looked up with wide eyes, dashing to his friend, his chest falling and rising heavier than it normally would.

"What are you stumbling around for?" Hyunwoo asked and Changkyun flicked his head to look behind him, tugging on Jooheon's arm to pull him away.

"They're trying to start trouble, let's just go" He was mumbling, looking around and narrowing his stare on the dormitory building.

"What's wrong Changkyun?" Somi put her arm through Changkyun's her tone dull but her eyes concerned when she looked up at her shy friends panicked expression.

"Got nothing to say for you and your friend's shifter? I didn't realize you were the type to run away" The doors to the building swung open, four pairs of eyes turning and staring in the direction of the new voice.

"Hyunshik" Jooheon sounded like a wolf when he spat out the name of the small eyed male, blinking at the three accompanying Changkyun in surprise.

"Eunkwang" Somi felt herself deflating, not knowing it was possible to get any sadder than what she was. Eunkwang looked at her, his eyes blinking but his expression remaining the same, not giving away any of his thoughts to her.

"And that other one" Hyunwoo nodded at the third person, all three spellcasting males standing above them on the steps to the building, glaring down at them.

"He had to get back up" Hyunshik scoffed, turning his head to the pair on either side of him before looking back down at them. Somi frowned, her grip tightening around Changkyun's arm looped with hers, feeling the way he naturally stiffened as if to jump at them.

"I just wanna go back to my room Changkyun" She breathed out and Changkyun looked at her head being placed on his shoulder, his body still stiff from the shared contact between them. Changkyun heard the tone in her voice, the way her body seemed to sway with a lack of sleep and he eased himself, nodding and looking back at the spellcasters.

"Then we can go back to your room" He promised, turning to the building where her dorm resided with her clinging to his arm. Jooheon stood stock still, Hyunwoo beside him as they sized the spellcasters up. Hyunwoo
