"Why are you crying ?" a young June asks young Donghyuk as they sit under maple tree away from the crowded students .

June and Donghyuk are 16 years old teenagers who had been best friends since they were infants . Well , it was because they are neighbours so they always hangout together often . Donghyuk is a petite , patient , fragile , polite , well-spoken yet a very gorgeous inside out . As for June , he is totally opposite with Donghyuk . You may say that June is more like macho-type , manly , confidence , a bit rude (when people mess up with him and cause trouble to Donghyuk) , mature and tough one . 

         "Huh ? No it was nothing . I'm totally fine ." Donghyuk suddenly flinched when June sits down next to him and asks him a question . He immediately low down his head and wiped out his tears and threw a not-so-fine smile . Donghyuk didn't want June to know his current problem . He afraid June would turned into over possessive best friend he usually be whenever Donghyuk in trouble . He always fine with that but this time he was not . 

         "Seriously ? Do you think i'm a dumb to believe that ?" June knew Donghyuk lied . The heck , of course he knew . June had friended with Donghyuk for almost 16 years and he even took shower together with Donghyuk before , of course he can sense something wrong with his beloved best friend . June nudged Donghyuk left arm as he try to get an answer from him . But then , he suddenly saw a red mark (seems like a bruises) and his face turned red . He can't any longer control his anger when he harshly lifted up Donghyuk's chin and saw a still new red bruises on his right cheek too . 

        "He did it again isn't he ?"

        "N-no . You got it wrong . He didn't do it this time . I-i j-just fell down f-from the stairs . Y-yeah , from the s-stairs." Donghyuk tried to calm June but seems like he can't thanks to his shuttering just now . 

        "I won't believe you this time . I had enough" June let go Donghyuk's face and turned his face away from Donghyuk. 

        "I know what happen just now . I saw what he did to you but why you still back him up ?"

        "Well isn't it an obvious answer ? Daehan is my boyfriend . Of course I-"

        "Correction Dong . He was your boyfriend." June turned his head towards Donghyuk and gave him a serious face. 

Donghyuk lower his head as June already knew his problem . The next thing will be June babble him about not telling him eventough he is his bestfriend and then he will went up to that Daehan boy to beat him up. Donghyuk knew June too well. 

       "It was actually a good news though. At last you are free from than satan but i still won't forgive him what he had done to you." June laid down as he was looking up to sky. He put both his arms at the back of his head.

       "Thanks . But you don't need to beat him up . i still love him though . I wonder what was my wrong until he was really pissed at me just now . Maybe i am not w-worth to him ?" he can feel a drop of tears went down to his hand as he lower down his head. June woke up and looked at Donghyuk. He lifted his chin once again and looked into his eyes deeply , like he tried to connect his heart with Donghyuk's. 

       "Nope you are wrong . He's the one who are not worth to you." he then held Donghyuk's both hands together with his.

       "Listen up Dong . I'm sure you will think that i'm joking but i am not . You are worth to anyone who will love you to their bottom of hearts . But that guys like Daehan ? That kind of guy are not worth to live . Heck , he is not worth to get your love . The one who suitable with you is someone who could protect you , cherish you , adore you and give you his love that you always wanted no matter what happen . Somene who thinks that he's lucky to have you by his side................and i hope that guy is me."
 

Donghyuk is starting to blush as he heard the last word that had slipped off June's mouth.

       "What are you talking about ? Something messing up with me . Since when you are in love me ? As i know you are flirting type but only with girls but not boys. Are you saying you gay now ?"

       "No I'm not gay but I'm gay just for you , Donghyuk."

Donghyuk can't stand any longer as he let go of his both hands from June's hold. 

       "What are you tring to say ? I don't understand."
 

       "What am i trying to say is that I always been in love you since we knew each other . I tried to say that word but it won't came out . I try Donghyuk , i always try . But remember that moment when Daehan suddenly confessed to you and you accepted it , I lost . I was thought that I lose you . I was devastated . I went back home and get into my room and let out my anger there . My mom heard the noise and knocked my door asking what happened . But i was too frustrated that time and accidently shouted at my mom to mind her own business . You know how a mother felt right when her beloved son shouted at her when she was really worried at me that time ? Then , i went to her and said sorry . Thankfully , she forgave me and didn't ask after that . But what i really wanted to tell is that i want you to know that i really love and only want you."

       "So are you confessing to me ?"

June brought their hands together again and smiled lovingly to him.

       "No I won't confess until I feel like I'm ready."

       "Why ?"

       "Because I'm afraid that I will turn like Daehan . Being abuse towards the one that i love just because of jealousy , I don't want that. I have to fix myself first . Fix myself to be a better person that you will rely on one day . So that's why i want you to wait for me . Close your heart to every men but open it just for me . Will you do that for me , Dong ?"

June looked up to soo Donghyuk's eyes like searching the answer.

        "Okay . I believe you . I'll wait." 

June felt like he was in cloud nine . How could he not feel it ? The one he love for long time finally accept his feeling but they will not official couple yet . They need to wait as June wanted to train himself to be better person just for Donghyuk. June held up his pinky finger.

        "So that's a promise"

        "Yeah , promise."

Little did Donghyuk knows (he went for a trip for 2 weeks with his family in Jeju) that June had left him alone 2 months after their promise they did as June moved out to where he didn't without telling him and he even changed his contact number. 

Yeah this the flashback and a beginning of their story .
