Chapter 5

Hyunmi's POV.

I was on my way to the bus when I left home before Yoonho oppa and Minhyuk oppa woke up. I was walking slowly because I was in my depressing mood from last night. I was walking slower than usual and I was thinking too much that I didn't care if people bumped into me when I was walking to the bus stop. I had no sleep last night because Yoonho oppa and omma fought about Minhyuk oppa last night. I sighed as I sat down on the chair that was by the bus stop and started thinking about what I heard last night when Jisung took me home.

I looked at Jisung and reply smiling, "thanks for taking me home, Jisung."

"I'm always here for you, princess," Jisung reply with a sweet smile. I nodded smiling and waved bye to Jisung when he left me alone by the door. I looked at my phone to see what time I got home and it was 6:45 P.M. when Jisung dropped me off at home. I put my phone away and opened the door, then I reply with a happy face, "omma, I am home-"

As I said that, I heard omma and Yoonho oppa yelling from the kitchen. So, I closed the door silently so that they don't know that I came home. I peeked to see what omma and Yoonho oppa were yelling about in the kitchen. I saw Yoonho oppa looked upset as omma looked frustrated. I had a sad face when omma reply to Yoonho oppa with a frustrated face, "why is that boy in here the first place?! You promised to never ever talk to that brat, Yoonho!"

"Omma, the past is the past. Why can't you just forgive him after what happened?!" Yoonho oppa ask getting upset as he looked at omma. Omma sighed and answered angrily, "Yoonho, you know every well why I don't want to see that brat! I worked too hard for this house and for you guys! He has another family and he should be happy to be over there than here!"

Yoonho oppa sighed in frustration and reply, "he doesn't like to live there because of appa."

"Don't you dare talk about that man in this house! He left us because of that brat's omma!" Omma shouted angrily as tears were coming down, "that's why I don't want to see that kid! If Hyunmi hears about why he left us, she will be depressed again on the actual reason why he left!"

"I know, omma! I've seen her keep her distance away from us in middle school," Yoonho oppa reply with a sad face, "that's why I have been trying to help her get over her depression."

"But, you are bringing that kid in this house," Omma reply with a sad face, "that kid can not live here!"

"He has no where to go!" Yoonho oppa shouted getting frustrated again, "he rather stay here with us than stay with appa."

"He has his cheating man and his omma at home!" Omma reply crying, "they are living happily, aren't they?!"

I walked backward slowly not wanting to hear anymore, then ran to the door and opened the door. I left the house crying and not wanting to hear anymore about appa. I kept running and running with tears in my eyes. I didn't know where my feet would take me, but I kept running and running until I stopped running in front of the old play ground, where I first met Jisung when I got bullied. I walked to the swing that I use to sit when I was little and sat on the swing as I was crying my eyes out. I kept crying and crying, then heard my phone ringing. I look to see it was Jisung. I wiped my tears and sniffed my nose, then answered the call, "h-hello?"

"Hey, where are you? Your omma called me and ask where you were since they heard someone left the house. Are you ok, princess?" Jisung ask with a worried voice. I cleared my throat and answered as I was trying hard not to be sad, "I'm alright. I just need some fresh air, that's all..." 

"I know you are sad, princess," Jisung reply with a worried voice, "we have been best friends for a long time. You and I both know that you are sad."

I sniffed as my tears started to come again and reply, "I don't know what to do anymore, Jisung."

"Don't worry, I'll meet up with you," Jisung reply as I felt like he got up from his bed to get ready, "where are you at?"

"I'm at the old play ground where we use to play," I reply as my tears were rolling down to my cheeks. Jisung hung up and I put my phone in my pocket as I continued to cry. I don't know how long it was, but I stopped crying when I heard a noise. I wiped my tears as I stood up from the swing and asked getting scared, "w-who is there?"

I got surprised when I saw a chipmunk came out from the bush and I sighed in relief. Suddenly, I heard someone shouted, "Hyunmi!"

I looked to see who it was and it was Jisung. He ran to me with a worried face and then when he was in front of me, he put his hands on my shoulder, then ask with a worried face, "are you ok?"

"I-I'm fine now," I reply with a nod as I sniffed. Jisung shook his head and bend a little in front of me, then reply softly with a sad face, "you are not fine."

"I am..." I reply softly trying hard not to cry again. I can feel a tear come down again and he reply softly again as he wipe my tears, "I know you are not fine, that is why I am here."

I felt him hug me as I kept crying, so I hugged him back and kept crying. Jisung caressed my hair softly with his right hand, while his left hand was patting my back softly as he was comforting me. He reply with a soft voice, "I'm always here for you, princess."

I nodded crying and reply, "I know and I'm glad you are."

He reply with a soft voice as he was still comforting me, "cry as
