Chapter 15

Hyunmi's POV.

I waited for Jisung outside of my house since he texted me that he is coming back to talk to me. I got worried because he left to go talk to Hyunjin. I thought getting worried, "I hope Hyunjin is alright and I hope Jisung won't do anything stupid..."

I was walking in circles with my pointer finger tapping on my mouth; I was getting nervous just thinking about Jisung and Hyunjin. I couldn't stop thinking about it until I heard, "yah, Hyunmi."

I turn to look and see Jiusng standing on the sidewalk with a small smile on his face. I sighed in relief and walked towards him. I stopped in front of him and asked with a worried face, "are you ok? Did anything happen? Is Hyunjin ok?"

"Why are you worried about him?" Jisung asked looking at me with a straight face. I looked at the ground and started kicking the ground, then I explained, "I just want to know if he is ok or not."

"You still like him, don't you?" Jisung asked with a sad face. I sighed with a sad face and explained again, "it takes a while, alright? I have been liking him since I went on bus 4419, you can't expect me to let him go already."

"I'm sorry," Jisung reply with a sad face, "I just... I really want to be with you."

I looked at him with a shocked face and he suddenly looked at the ground, then softly reply, "I'll wait for you."

"Jisung..." I slowly reply looking at him with a sad face. He looked at me, then started walking closer to me while I was walking back feeling confused on what he is gonna do. He ask as he was walking towards me, "Hyunmi, is it ok if..."

"If what?" I ask as I was still walking backwards until he held my wrist, then pulled me close to him. My face was close to Jisung's face and I was shocked on what he was doing. I was about to say something, but he asked, "if I hug you?"

"Jisung-" I answer as I was feeling bad, but he cut me off, "I'm not asking you to be my girlfriend. I just want you to know that I'm here for you as a friend."

I bit my lips since I was debating if I should or not and pulled my hand away from him. He suddenly felt sad when I pulled my hand away; so, I put my arms around his neck and hugged him. Jisung got caught off guard, but he suddenly put his arm around my waist and hugged me back. I patted his back and had a pout on my face as I argue, "yah, how dare you yah me when I am older than you."

"We are only a few months apart," Jisung argue back at me with a smile on his face. I pulled away and reply as I was still pouting, "doesn't matter."

Jisung chuckled and then reply with a small smile on his face, "I told Hyunjin to tell Jihee to stop bullying you."

"Anything else?" I asked with a curious face. Jisung didn't make an eye contact and answered, "and I also punched him in the face."

I sighed and reply, "you need to not punch someone in the face without even telling him what is going on."

"So, you wouldn't mind if I punch him?" Jisung asked with a surprise face. I rolled my eyes and sighed, "no, just don't do that again."

"Ok," Jisung reply smiling and then I smiled back at him. Jisung messed my hair up and I glared at him with a pout on my face again, "stop~."

Jisung smiled more and fixed my hair. I ask smiling, "do you wanna come back inside now?"

"Yeah," he answer as he was smiling and we went inside my house. I closed the door behind me when we got inside and we started walking to the living room. When we sat down on the couch, we started watching "Flower Boy Ramen Shop" with popcorn. Jisung was sitting next to me and he shook his head as he was watching the tv, "he is an idiot."

"Yup, he doesn't know what's coming," I answered as I was eating the popcorn. The screen showed where the main girl was dropped her teacher badge and threw the volleyball up on the air, then she hit the main guy's head with the ball. I reply with a smile as I was watching the scene, "serves him right!"

"I don't get why guys like him do these things, like guys are just jerks," Jisung reply as he was eating the popcorn. I nodded and reply, "exactly."

"Hyunmi! I need your help-oh, hello."

We turn to look and see omma carrying groceries. Jisung got up fast from his seat and went to omma, then reply as he is smiling, "I'll help you, omma."

"Oh, my sweet Jisung, thank you," omma reply smiling and Jisung took her groceries in the kitchen. Omma looked at me and asked smiling, "drama night?"

"Mmmhmm," I reply smiling and Jisung came back, then asked smiling, "anything else, omma?"

"Oh, everything is good now," omma reply smiling. Omma patted his cheeks softly, then went to the kitchen. Omma asked from the kitchen, "will you be staying for dinner, Jisung?"

"Sure, omma," Jisung reply and sat next to me with a smile on his face. I looked at Jisung and reply with a smile, "omma really misses you."

"Really?" Jisung asked with wide eyes. I nodded smiling and reply, "she always ask if we are still friends."

"We still are," Jisung reply smiling and looked at the tv. I looked at the tv and suddenly thoughts were thinking about Hyunjin as I was trying to concetrate on the drama.

The next day, I walked out of my house and started walking to the bus stop as usual. When I got to the bus stop, I sat on the seat and waited for the bus to come. As I was waiting, I felt someone sat next to me, I turn to look and it was Hyunjin. I look away when Hyunjin look at me and couldn't help, but felt kind of shock  and also I'm scared to talk to him. I looked at the umbrella that I brought since I needed to give it to him and end this. I turn to look at Hyunjin and his face was close to mine. I can feel his breath was close to my face and then, we looked away as soon as our face was close. Hyunjin cleared his throat and was about to say something, but I cut him off by giving him an umbrella. He looked at it with a confused face and looked at me, then he ask, "what's this for?"

"The umbrella you gave me when it was raining that day," I explain as I was not looking at him, "I just wanted to give this to you. From now on, no more helping me and talking to me."

The bus came in time as Hyunjin was about to say something, but I quickly got up from my seat and ran inside the bus before he talks to me again. I scan my bus card, then I sat in my usual spot. Hyunjin came in and he was staring at me, but I looked out of my window, ignoring him. Hyunjin sat on his usual spot, but things were different. He didn't stare at the window, listening to music, and tapping his feet as he usually does. He was listening to music, had a sad face, and was looking at me once in a while. I quietly sighed to myself and thought feeling sad, "this is for the best."

When the bus stopped by my school, I got out of the bus and walk to school. As I was walking close to the school gates, I felt someone stopped me by grabbing my wrist. I look at my wrist and saw their is a hand holding my wrist. I look at the person that held my wrist and see that it was Hyunjin. I sighed in frustration as I glare at him, "get lost."

"We need to talk," Hyunjin reply as he was feeling guilty, "I really want to talk to you."

"Yah, Hyunjin," I reply glaring at him, "you have Jihee, so why are you bothering me? Just leave me alone."

I was about to walk away to go in the school, but he held my wrist and I looked at him with a glare, "let go."

"Not until we talk," Hyunjin answer as he had a straight face. I look around and see all the girls at my school were watching us with a shocked face as they were whispering. I tried pulling away from Hyunjin as I whisper feeling uncomfortable, "they are staring."

"Let them stare," Hyunjin ignoring how uncomfortable I am as he pulled me closer towards him. I almost bumped into him as I tried to pull my hand away from him. All the girls gasp and had their hands on their mouth with a surprised face from what Hyunjin did. I was about to say something until someone pulled me away from Hyunjin by grabbing my other wrist as Hyunjin was still holding my wrist. I looked to see who it was and see it was Jisung glaring at Hyunjin. I look at Jisung with a surprised face, "Jisung."

"Hyunjin, stop talking to her already. She feels uncomfortable right now," Jisung reply looking at Hyunjin with a glare. Hyunjin sighed and reply to Jisung, "I just need to talk to her."

"There is nothing for you to talk," Jisung reply looking at Hyunjin as he was still glaring at Hyunjin, "especially Hyunmi, my girlfriend."

"HUH?!" All the girls gasp when they heard what Jisung said. Every girl who heard it, they were all surprised and started whispering to each other as they were either excited or angry. Hyunjin and I looked at Jisung with a shocked face, then Hyunjin reply not believing it as he slowly let go of my wrist, "that isn't true, she rejected you on the day you took her out."

"How does he know about that?" I thought looking at Hyunjin with a surprised face. Jisung shook his head and lied as he was still looking at Hyu
