Chapter 13

Hyunmi's POV.

Morning came, I woke up from my alarm clock and I shut it off as soon as I woke up from it. I sighed in stress and closed my eyes not wanting to go to school. I suddenly thought of Hyunjin again when my eyes are closed. Everytime I close my eyes, I think about him because I miss being with him. I slowly opened my eyes, shook my head, and sat up on my bed as I was trying to ignore the feeling. I softly smacked my cheeks and thought closing my eyes again, "let's not think about Hyunjin, Hyunmi."

I opened my eyes again and looked at my closet. My eyes were set on the umbrella that I still haven't given to Hyunjin. I got out of my bed, walked to the closet, grabbed the umbrella, and threw it inside the closet like I didn't care about it. I closed my closet door as soon as I threw the umbrella and thought with a sad face, "why can't I just get over you, Hyunjin?"

I walked away from the closet and went to the bathroom to get ready for school. When I finished getting ready, I went to my room to grab my backpack; but when I got my backpack, I looked out of the window and notice it was raining. I looked at my closet and thought, "should I even use his umbrella?"

I walked to the closet again and opened my closet, then grabbed the umbrella. I looked at the umbrella as I was holding on to it and started remembering the time when Hyunjin gave me the umbrella that day. I shook my head with a sad face and walked out of my room, then walk towards the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen, omma was cooking breakfast for me, Yoonho oppa, and Minhyuk oppa. She warmly smiled at me when she saw me, then asked, "how are you feeling?"

"I'm alright now," I answered with a small smile when I was looking at omma. She put down her spetula and walked towards me, then put her hands on my cheeks. She reply smiling at me, "I'm glad you are talking now."

I smiled at omma and reply, "I'm trying my best to move on."

"I can see that," omma reply with a smile, "remember, it takes time to heal."

I nodded at her as she gave me a hug that I needed because of hos hard everything it is. I hugged her back, trying not to cry and just smile through the pain. I suddenly felt someone hugging omma and I. Omma and I turn to look, it was Yoonho oppa smiling at us. We smiled back at him and Yoonho oppa asked smiling, "a hug without me?"

"That's good then," I answered as I smiled at Yoonho oppa and walked to my seat. Yoonho oppa pouted and reply looking at me as he followed after me, "no it isn't."

"Yes it is." I argued as I was smiling and sat down on the chair, then he sat next to me and argued with a pout, "no."

"Yes," I reply laughing at Yoonho oppa's face. Omma didn't notice Minhyuk oppa enter the room since Yoonho oppa and I were still arguing. Minhyuk oppa looked at me and Yoonho oppa, then ask, "I'm guessing Hyunmi is back to normal now?"

Omma looked and see Minhyuk oppa was smiling at Yoonho oppa and I arguing. Omma nodded at Minhyuk oppa with a smile, then looked at me and Yoonho oppa who was still arguing with me.

"Are you sure you are gonna be ok?" Yoonho oppa asked with a worried face. I nodded and answered with a small smile, "I'll ignore him like I always do."

"What if he talks to you?" Yoonho oppa asked again. I shook my head with a small smile and answered, "oppa, I told him that we won't talk anymore after everything that happened."

"Ok..." Yoonho oppa reply with a worried face. I patted his arm and reply with a smile, "stop worrying about your little sister, I'll be fine."

Yoonho oppa softly smiled and nodded. I opened the umbrella as soon as I opened the door and got outside. I was about to wlk away when Yoonho oppa stopped me, then asked looking at the umbrella, "isn't this the one Hyunjin gave you?"

I looked at it and nodded with a sad smile. He was about to take it and I reply stopping him, "it's fine, oppa."

"This will make you sad though," Yoonho oppa reply looking at me with a sad face. I smiled and reply, "it will. But, this is nothing compared to seeing Hyunjin."

Yoonho oppa nodded again and reply with a small smile, "I'll see you later."

I smiled and nodded at Yoonho oppa. I turned away and  started walking to the bus as I was holding the umbrella. When I was walking to the bus, I started to get nervous because I'll be going to the bus for the first time in a while and seeing Hyunjin. When I got to the bus stop, I didn't see Hyunjin and I sighed in relief, then thought, "he probably doesn't come to the bus now."

I looked around the area and then of course, I was wrong. Hyunjin was walking towards the bus stop, with his earphones on, and he had a hood on. He didn't notice me since he was busy trying to get the the bus stop, but then he looked up and we made eye contact. I quickly looked away when our eyes met and I looked at the road that is in front of me. I closed my eyes feeling nervous and thought, "I shouldn't have jinx myself."

I slowly opened my eyes and didn't turn my head because if I looked at Hyunjin right now, I fear that my heart will beat again for him. Suddenly, I looked to find Hyunjin next to me as he was also waiting for the bus. I bit my lips as I looked away and gulped nervously. I thought with a nervous face, "why is he standing next to me?"

I tightened my hand on the handle of my umbrella and I was getting really nervous thinking he would try to talk to me. The bus finally came as soon as Hyunjin stood next to me. When the bus opened the door, I quickly ran to the door and closed my umbrella before going in the bus. I put my bus card against the bus scanner, but the scanner didn't work. I nervously sighed and tried it again, but it didn't work. The bus driver ask as he was looking at me with a straight face, "your bus card might not have enough money to get inside, do you have cash?"

"I don't have cash with me right now," I slowly answered with a sad face and the bus driver reply with a sigh, "then, I'm sorry. You can't come in."

"Please, sir-" I reply with a sad face, but then suddenly, "for 2 people."

I turn to look who said that and it was Hyunjin. He used his bus card to scan it and he looked at me with a sad face, then he walked to his normal spot. I looked at him, then looked away as I walked to the spot I normal sat and looked out my window when I sat down. As the bus driver started driving, I started thinking about the first time he scan the bus card for me when I couldn't get in the bus. I sadly sighed and thought, "why did he have to scan his card for me again? This is the second time he did this to-"

"Is it ok if I can sit on that spot?"

I looked up to see an elderly women that was standing next to me. I quickly stood up and reply with a smile as I ler her sit on my spot, "you can sit here."

"Thank you," she reply with a smile and sat on my spot. I walked to the exit door and held on to the bars, so that I don't fall. The bus stopped atmy spot and the doors open. I walked out of the bus ignoring that Hyunjin was there and suddenly I stopped my tracks feeling like I should turn around to look at the bus. When the bus started moving again, I turned around to look at the bus and saw Hyunjin was staring at me with a sad face. I looked away as I shook my head and thought trying to not feel sad, "ignore it, Hyunmi."

I started walking to the school gates and notice that all the girls were looking at me again as they whisper. I walked away from them feeling uncomfortable again and thought, "this is gonna be a long day again."
