세븐틴:  Urgent!

 

Early in the morning, boys got up one by one. Mingyu went out to buy fruits for their sick Jeonghanie.

 

Meanwhile, as Jeonghan woke up, he went off his bed with blind eyesight. He didn’t notice his baby watching over beside him.

 

With his hyung’s straight eyes, blankly staring in the air, their maknae assumed, Jeonghan was blind again. Dino sighed… but later on he decided to greet his Jeongmom a lively morning call.

 

Dino:

Good morning~

 

Jeonghan recognized the voice. It was definitely their youngest being sweet early in the morning. He was glad hearing that voice, but he had no time to answer back or smile because his stomach was feeling foul and he needed to go to the bathroom to puke.

 

Dino was alerted and immediately, he carried Jeonghan on his back just to go to the bathroom quickly.

 

It was half success when he managed to throw up completely in to the sink and not on Dino’s shirt; however, it spilled a little no matter how hard Jeonghan tried to stop it.

 

After he threw up, Jeonghan felt sorry for Dino because he knew he got his vomit on Chan’s shirt. With his blind eyes, he apologized.

 

Jeonghan:

I’m sorry.

 

Dino:

That’s nothing.

I can change.

And hyung…

 

Jeonghan was waiting.

 

Dino:

I am truly sorry. I know I offended you.

Sorry.

 

Jeonghan:

It’s fine.

I mean, I am okay now. I’m sorry I acted rudely too.

 

Dino:

As long as you are alright now, we’ll be fine.

 

Jeonghan:

Where are the others?

 

Dino:

Busy with things.

 

Jeonghan:

I can’t see still. Can you lead me to the living room?

 

Dino:

Sure.

What do you want to do?

 

Jeonghan:

Nothing, as usual.

(He smiled)

I’ll be waiting for breakfast.

And I hope I can see again before another practice.

 

Dino:

You still have your dextrose on.

 

Jeonghan:

I can feel them.

(He giggled faintly)

 

Dino thought that he was weak based on his voice and smile.

 

Dino:

Let’s go?

I’ll carry you.

 

Jeonghan:

Nope.

I want to walk.

 

Dino:

You sure?

Hyung… I am fine now.

Are you? I mean, do you want me to go far after I walk you in the living room?

 

Jeonghan:

No. I am fine with you.

 

Dino:

Okay.

(The boy smiled feeling all better when Jeonghan seemed to mean his words)

 

The boys followed him to the living room without creating any noise. They observed how he acts.

 

When they seated, Jeonghan asked for his phone and ear phones.

 

Dino:

I’ll get it.

 

Dino went out, looking for him; however, Jihoon had the items Jeonghan was requesting that time and went towards their blind angel. While the boy was searching for nothing, and Jihoon never intended to stop Chan from searching until he’s done with his business.

 

Anyway, Jihoon put the headset on Jeonghan’s ears.

 

On the other hand, Jeonghan was startled.

 

Jeonghan:

Thank you, Chanie~

 

Jihoon:

I’m not Chan. You are blind again?

 

Jeonghan:

Oh. Thank you, JiHoon-ah

 

Jihoon:

I’m sorry.

 

Jeonghan:

I’m sorry too.

I hope I didn’t hurt you that much. Or else, I would feel bad.

 

Jihoon:

I guess you are a little fine now.

(He smiled)

 

The other boys were still watching, signalling Jihoon to let them apologize too- one by one. On the other hand, the poor maknae was still searching for the unsearchable and no one was stopping him.

 

He got 12 evil hyungs! Inom!

 

So anyway, Jihoon understand those guys who had fallen in line to have their turns.

 

Jihoon:

You got plenty of boys falling out for you.

I’ll give them the chance.

 

Jeonghan:

Jihoonie… please gather them in a while.

I have something to tell.

(He smiled)

 

Jihoon and the others were worried about what he would tell. Not again. They could feel that they might give up any time if it’s something not good again.

 

Poor boys.

 

Anyway, he’d let the others apologize first before he thinks of how to start the conversation in their meeting later.

 

Seungkwan was wondering because he felt that someone was not in the line. There’s someone missing when they’re supposed to be complete, except Chan who was still searching.

 

The tall clumsy puppy was not there. He was still in the market buying food.

 

When the line was almost over, someone entered the house bringing a plastic of strawberries and other fruits and vegetables. It was all for Jeonghanie~ because he knew they liked them even though he don’t tell them.

 

Mingyu was surprised seeing the boys staring blankly at him in one place. And then, he noticed Jeonghan sitting across them. He bet something was going on.

 

Vernon:

Time for you to apologize.

 

Mingyu:

(Confused)

You done?

 

Soon Young:

Yeah. We did it one by one.

Your turn.

 

Mingyu:

Oh. Thanks.

 

Seungcheol:

What are those groceries for?

 

Mingyu:

For Jeonghanie hyung… I brought this so he could recover fast.

(He smiled)

 

Wonwoo:

Tsk!

Trying to impress him huh?

(He teased)

 

Mingyu:

This is called a gift, hyung.

Tsk!

You go buy yours if you want.

Aigoo!

 

Early in the morning, the teasing has begun again. But Dino accidentally stopped the igniting fire because he was at lost and still searching for that phone that was supposed to be in either his hyung’s table or bag. Where the hell did it go?

 

Chan:

Hyung, did you see Jeonghanie hyung’s phone?

 

The boys laughed, while Mingyu was confused and pointed out Jeonghan’s phone in his hands and one earphones on his ears.

 

Mingyu:

It’s with him, why?

 

Chan:

Huh?

How come no one told me?!

(He grunted)

You really mean it hyungdeul!

Still bad at me huh? You bullies!

 

Seungcheol

We didn’t intend too.

(He chuckled)

 

While fixing Dino’s complaint, Mingyu went to the kitchen first to wash the strawberries and went off to Jeonghan the soonest.

 

The tall puppy stood straight and apologize as soon as he got in that place.

 

Mingyu:

I’m sorry, hyung.

 

Jeonghan:

Mingyu?

…

(He smiled)

That’s why I was wondering someone’s missing. There you are.

Where have you been?

 

Mingyu sat on the floor, pulled the carpet smoothly where Jeonghan was seated near him. Then, he got one strawberry and carefully feed Jeonghan with it.

 

Mingyu:

To buy these.

These are really sweet.

 

Jeonghan was munching it while listening to his prince.

 

Jeonghan:

Yeah.

Just like you. Sweet and sour, maybe.

(He chuckled weakly)

I’m sorry too.

(Even though Mingyu didn’t say anything because he knew it already. It’s replayed 12 times)

 

Mingyu smiled.

 

Mingyu:

Are you feeling fine?

 

Jeonghan:

Yup.

Thanks.

 

Suddenly, Mingyu embraced him which startle the blind man.

 

Mingyu:

Good to hear.

Time to eat, princess.

 

Jeonghan:

(He smiled)

I can’t see.

Help me up.

 

Mingyu:

Nope. There’s one person who’s staring at me badly because he wanted to do the task.

 

Jeonghan:

(He giggled)

My baby… I know.

I can hear his breathing.

 

Mingyu and Dino:

(Were puzzled and amused)

What?

Can you recognize someone with just their breathing?

 

Jeonghan laughed.

 

Jeonghan:

Yeah.

 

Sebong:

Daebak!

 

Dino:

And how come? Can you feel it? Can you smell? What?

 

Jeonghan:

By smell.

You aren’t taking a bath yet, Chanie~ I know your smell. You are raised by me after all.

(He teased while laughing)

 

Jeonghan was expecting Chan to sulk cutely, but instead, he cuddled him like there’s no tomorrow. Jeonghan was astonished, but he enjoyed it.

 

Dino:

Of course!

 

Jeonghan:

(He was giggling sweetly and it was nice to hear)

Help me up and let’s eat!

 

The boys were glad seeing things like that. It makes them soft.

 

Joshua:

Things never change, huh?

 

Jihoon:

Yeah. He’s just playing that he’s grown up.

 

Jun:

But he always comes back to where he started.

 

Minghao:

Ayooo, gwiyeowo. Baby Chanie~

 

All laughed, but Chan ignored them and assisted Jeonghan at the dining table with them.

 

-DINING TABLE-

 

After eating, Jeonghan was ready to talk to him about things, his boys should know.

 

Jeonghan:

Can I speak now?

 

Seungcheol:

Go ahead.

 

Jeonghan:

I am confessing you something.

Don’t get mad.

 

Joshua:

We’re listening.

(He said calmly)

 

Jeonghan:

I hope we are all fine?

 

Wonwoo:

We are.

(He smiled)

 

Jeonghan was still blind… oh well, he preferred that than seeing their mad faces again in the report that he was about to tell.

 

Jeonghan waited for the right chance, and a few moments he spoke.

 

Jeonghan:

About Yo Han ssi.

 

Immediately, the boys tensed; however, they tried not to react and speak first. It’s just the name…. they didn’t know what happen yet.

 

Jeonghan:

He’s inviting me for a date.

 

Immediately, the boys spoke in unison.

 

Sebongs:

What?!

 

Jeonghan:

Okay, calm down.

Let me finish first, alright?

…

 

When it was quiet, Jeonghan continued.

 

Jeonghan:

You know the other day? I mean not the other day… but …

I got a call right?

 

-FLASHBACK-

 

One moment, Jeonghan received a call which made him pissed by his expression, but the tone he’s making was as obedient as soft like he’s talking to someone older. Then, he excused himself to the boys because he’s going somewhere alone.

 

Seungcheol:

Where are you going?

 

Jeonghan:

To the office.

 

Mingyu:

What are you going to do there?

 

Jeonghan:

They said I have a project and I have to update them about my condition.

I’ll go there for a meeting.

 

Jun:

Want a company?

 

Jeonghan:

No. I’ll be fine. They said manager will drive me there.

(He sighed)

I can actually walk there, though.

(With a pissed tone while arranging his shoelace)

 

Mingyu:

Update us.

 

Jeonghan:

I will.

 

Then the van came and fetched him up, but one moment, while the manager went knocking on their house, he gave them their schedules. The boys were confused, then what project would Jeonghan have that time, that he needed to meet them alone. Was it acting again?

 

 

-Inside the CEO’s Office-

 

Jeonghan met their CEO and Yo Han. Well, they first asked him about his health, and so he answered politely. Next agenda was his personal projects, which the CEO said that Seungcheol had now his copies, and last was his plan for the operation.

 

Jeonghan explained that he was a little doubtful leaving his group.

 

Jeonghan:

I am to consult them (his team) first, sir.

I should consider a lot of things. I know the operation is not fully successful yet and that I am only resorting for a small hope, but… I have to think of it thoroughly.

 

CEO:

I know it’s a hard decision, but think about yourself first.

…

Jeonghan-ah, I know you are worried about them, but they can do it by themselves.

Your health and well-being is more important than anything else.

 

Yo Han:

He’s right, darling.

 

Jeonghan frowned his face hearing Yo Han’s voice.

 

Yo Han:

You are more important now.

How about the therapy?

It’s better if you’d go to London, because they have their equipments there.

 

Jeonghan:

I will send you my final decision as soon as our show in Japan ends.

I’m so sorry for causing you this trouble.

 

CEO:

Please consider this, Jeonghan.

Even just the therapy if you are scared with the operation. I’m sure the boys will understand.

 

Jeonghan:

Yes sir. I will think thoroughly.

 

CEO:

Be healthy, my child.

 

Jeonghan:

Yes, CEO.

Thank you.

 

Yo Han:

Your papers for London are ready, Jeonghan… you cannot delay your treatment anymore.

 

Jeonghan:

I understand.

 

Once their conversation was done, Yo Han offered him a ride, but he boldly refused.

 

Jeonghan:

I’m fine sir. I can walk by myself.

I think I need it.

 

Yo Han:

Are you sure you are okay alone?

 

Jeonghan:

If you are worried, I can ask Seungkwan or DK to fetch me.

I just want to walk and think.

 

Yo Han:

I see.

 

When they were at the door, Yo Han spoke to him again.

 

Yo Han:

Jeonghan-ah, think what’s good for you.

 

Jeonghan:

(Looked at him with an intense stare like he’s pissed of him)

I will sir

(And yet continued his words with full of respect and politeness.)

 

Yo han:

You sure you aren’t going to go with me?

 

Jeonghan:

Yes.

I already texted DK and Seungkwan.

They said they’ll fetch me.

Thank you for your concern, sir.

 

Yo Han:

Then, I’ll go ahead.

Message me when you get back home.

 

Jeonghan:

I will, sir.

 

Yo Han:

Please, skip ‘sir’ you can call me by name.

 

Jeonghan:

I’m sorry sir but I am comfortable calling you like that.

 

Yo Han:

You will be comfortable. Just try it.

(He smiled)

I am always here for you.

I love you.

 

That disgusts Jeonghan, but he didn’t reply and looked to the other direction instead to avoid the older’s disgusting gazes.

 

While he was gone, Jeonghan fisted his knuckles like he wanted to punch somebody on the face, but then he went home- alone. He lied when he said he texted Seungkwan and DK to pick him up, when actually, no one would. Even his manager didn’t know that he was to go home.

 

It surprised the other members upon Jeonghan’s arrival. They were obviously worried, but Jeonghan was not in the mood. They thought it was them who made him feel like that, so they kept their mouth shut for a while.

 

Seungcheol:

Jeonghan-ah, this is our last practice for an event performance.

Can you do it?

 

Jeonghan:

No worries. I can.

(His short replies continued)

 

The boys prepared for their practice, Seungkwan and DK were as usual, seating beside Jeonghan. It was still quiet inside the van, and it felt awkward. Their manager assumed that they fought, but he didn’t ask not to cause another conflict among them.

 

-END OF FLASHBACK-

 

Sebongs:

He said I LOVE YOU?!!!!

 

Their voices could destroy the whole place because of the shout.

 

Jeonghan:

Calm down.

I’m sorry I didn’t tell him about our relationship.

 

Seungcheol:

I understand that…

That will cause more trouble if ever you’ve confessed about that.

 

Joshua:

Yeah. I agree.

Let’s keep it a secret.

 

Jun:

Carats knew this, I think.

 

DK:

They have this 7^th sense!

(He joked)

 

Soon Young:

That I agree.

They have a vision no one could beat. Even a hawk eye won’t beat it.

 

They laughed altogether, but they were proud of their cute and loving fans. Some would rather chose watch them marry each other rather than dreaming of them being their husbands or lovers.

 

Carats are mysterious, just like their idols. They are also loveable and kind- of course, their idols are great… it’s just that, they are crazy, same as Seventeen. No wonder. Like idols like fans! The family fandom is getting crazier anyway… as long as they’re happy and as long as they’re in the right track- everything will be fine. There’s nothing they could wish more, except that they should focus in their studies and in their jobs. They hoped that they would not be the reasons for them to fail in their exams and performance in work… and! To stay forever.

 

-PERFORMANCE in an EVENT (AWARDS NIGHT)-

 

As usual, Jeonghan’s minions (Seungkwan, DK, and Vernon and now Chan) were by his side, but he still made no casual actions nor even throw something like a tease to make his team cheerful. That time, Jeonghan was being Jeonghan. He was okay, but he’s obviously The Jeonghan who was bothered and extremely sick. He showed the current weak and lifeless Jeonghan to the people he loved, not that he wanted them to pity him, but he’s actually tired. He’s reserving his energy for their performance and for the crowd and interviews.

 

Later on, their maknae went near him and looked at him like he’s longing for Jeonghan’s attention and touch, but Jeonghan did not give what he wanted. Then, Dino made his way to be with his hyung again. Chan embraced him tight yet with full of caution not to cause more pain for Jeonghan. On the other hand, Jeonghan received it and embraced him back- but weakly as his energy couldn’t go for tighter embrace that time.

 

Dino:

I’m sorry, hyung.

 

Jeonghan:

(He smiled)

I’m okay. You don’t have to say sorry.

Why? I thought, we are done with that.

 

Dino:

Yeah. But you look weak. I thought I forgot to give you your energizer. My hug.

 

Jeonghan was pleased and smile.

 

Jeonghan:

I know.

(He giggled)

That’s why I’m feeling like this since morning.

It’s your fault for not giving me my Chan vitamins.

 

Dino:

Sorry.

(He smiled cutely)

How are you feeling?

 

Jeonghan:

A little tired. But now I’m still okay.

 

Dino:

Want to rest for a moment?

Our last practice from earlier was a little exhausting.

(He tried to smile)

 

Jeonghan:

Yeah.

(He forced a smile)

And I am reserving my energy for the interviews, so our Carats won’t be worried.

 

Dino:

Alright.

 

Actually, those ‘tried’ words didn’t mean physically, but mentally. Jeonghan was trying to be well when he’s not. He’s tired from everything already, even if he forced himself to enjoy things. There’s something that’s keeping his light die down.

 

Since they were already in the crowd, they should show their professionalism. They wore their brightest smiles while everybody, especially their loving fans, were around.

 

They met their friends like nothing was happening inside their family. Seungkwan and Hoshi and DK were jolly as ever, Wonwoo and Vernon and Woozi were still blank, while Jun and Joshua together with Minghao were as ever quiet in the crowd, Mingyu and Dino acted like a composed gentleman in front of the crowd to prove his maturity, then Cheol was as always firm yet sweet. Jeonghan, on the other hand, couldn’t force himself further to form a bright smile as before. He’s weak, and yet he tried to act as normal as possible.

Before the performance, Cheol couldn’t help but to worry more for Jeonghan. He was losing focus, as well as Jeonghan. He was so bothered that he couldn’t play the same Cheol in front of many people. After some time, he began to feel unwell. As usual, he won’t bother anyone else when he knew they had a serious problem with Jeonghan’s condition.

 

One moment, Minhyuk approached them, and noticed, something’s weird. They were jolly but they were divided by groups. Minhyuk thought it was not the time to interact with them, he just glanced at his beloved and got a little worried when he saw him in his weakest expression.

 

After their performance. Mingyu and Joshua noticed that their leader was weak at the moment.

 

Mingyu:

You okay, hyung?

 

Joshua:

You need to rest.

 

Seungcheol:

I’m gonna be fine.

I’ll rest later.

 

Cheol was unwell again because of the pressure he’s in besides of his responsibility in their company, he also handles things on his own way within his brothers inside the team.

 

Jeonghan:

(He noticed that Seungcheol really was unwell)

You okay?

 

Seungcheol:

(With a weak and panting voice)

Yeah.

Just got dizzy.

(Holding his head)

How about you?

 

Jeonghan:

Better than you are right now.

 

Seungcheol:

Don’t lie.

 

Jeonghan:

(He sighed)

I think it’s the real thing, Cheol.

Go ahead and rest.

I will rest my body too.

Sorry… I didn’t mean to act like that earlier.

 

Joshua:

We understand Jeonghan. Don’t worry.

 

No time to fool around, the boys went straight to their rooms and rested. Well, they would’ve gone elsewhere but their bodies where totally wrecked. Maybe because of the happenings inside their family, so they decided to sleep rather than doing some more stuffs.

 

Mingyu, Jihoon and Joshua, on the other hand, chose to stay with Coups. Their leader had a slight fever and they were trying their best to nurse him. His headache made it really worst.

 

Seungcheol was resting on his bed, while the others were busy doing things on their own. Actually, they were just pretending. They were scheming something- not bad, but on how to comfort Jeonghan and their hyungs in any way possible.

 

Jeonghan, on the other hand, was occupied with things like: if he would continue his treatment without Yo Han’s sponsorship, how can he gather a million dollar money for that?; Would he choose to stay and come what may?; Or should he really quit permanently not to cause them any more problem and live as normal as possible until his body gives up, at least he’s with his family and friends.

After that pretentious day, back to their daily schedules; though, Seungcheol was forced to stay inside their dorm to rest. Jeonghan went inside to talk to him.

 

Jeonghan:

Cheol, we’ll get going.

Have a good rest.

 

Seungcheol:

Take care.

 

With as simple as that, their conversation ended. As soon as they parted ways, they became busy again.

 

The next day was the same. Good thing was, Coups was already well and alive again. He made sure, everybody is healthy, but he could still notice Jeonghan’s unwell expression.

 

He’s not hiding it anymore. Now they know how heavy it would make them feel seeing him like that, instead of his normal jolly face.

 

Again, Jeonghan didn’t mean to let them see that side of him, but he’s extremely tired; moreover, many things were troubling him as he couldn’t find answers on his own too.

 

Joshua:

Jeonghan-ah?

 

Jeonghan:

(He was startled)

Ah- yes?

 

Joshua:

Are you alright?

 

Jun:

After your schedule, you can call me. I might finish mine immediately, so you won’t feel lonely.

 

Jeonghan:

Ah.

(He smiled)

No. I’m fine.

 

Soon young:

Are you bothered by something?

 

Jihoon:

We’ll listen.

 

Jeonghan:

Oh- that…

Please, don’t mind me.

I have the lowest stamina, after all.

(He forced a smile again)

Let’s go.

 

The boys respected his decision, but when the time they knew that they had to interfere, they would not think twice. Even if they’ll make Jeonghan angry or what.

 

Just then, Jeonghan came up with his decision. He called the CEO about his decision and the CEO respected him and wished him well.

 

Others went MCing, others went to some small shows to guest and Vernon was sent to MAMA HongKong alone with the other rappers like Jackson. Vernon was the farthest member to be away from home, and he started missing his friends right after he took off.

 

Later on, Jeonghan guessed in some show called MOMO X, wherein he’s buying cute socks for the boys. Too bad when Yo Han came while he was enjoying his little shopping.

 

Yo Han’s appearance made his mood foul.

 

After the shooting, Yo Han came near him.

 

Yo Han:

Let’s go home.

 

Jeonghan:

No need to bother sir. I am with my manager.

We’ll go home safely.

 

Yo Han:

No.

You are coming with me.

We need to talk.

 

Jeonghan:

I don’t remember we need to talk about something, sir.

 

Yo Han:

(With a firm voice)

Jeonghan-ah.

 

The younger man bowed down as he was about to step outside and meet his manger, so they could go straight home, but Yo Han grabbed his hand forcibly.

 

Yo Han:

We will talk.

 

Jeonghan had no choice but to follow his ‘boss’ in everything he ordered. When the manager saw them going outside, he immediately prepared the van, but Yo han stopped him from doing so.

 

Yo Han:

I will drive Jeonghan home. Fetch the other boys.

(He firmly ordered)

 

Manager:

But.

 

He looked at Jeonghan and he knew the boy was asking for help.

 

Yo Han:

You can go now.

…

Jeonghan, get in the car.

 

Jeonghan didn’t do anything besides the stare he sent to his manager; however, he couldn’t do anything because he was like Jeonghan. All he could do was follow orders. But he didn’t stop there. Their loving manager didn’t remove his sight off Jeonghan as he was trying to call and text the other members.

 

Manager:

Hey, I think, Jeonghan is in trouble. He’s with Mr. Yo Han and he won’t let me drive him home.

 

He delivered it to everyone in the group.

 

After a few minutes, Seungcheol had the chance to look at his phone during their break and saw their manager’s message. Same thing he did, Cheol tried to contact s, but no one answered. One last option he had was to contact their closest hyungs and friend/rivals who’s available at the moment. And alas! He found someone. He was able to contact Minhyuk!

 

Seungcheol:

Hyung, Jeonghan is alone, can you visit him?

 

Minhyuk:

Sure thing!

Thanks for telling me that.

 

Seungcheol:

Please watch over him.

 

Minhyuk:

Let me take care of that.

 

The excited Minhyuk immediately prepare himself for his ‘date’ at last. He bathed as soon as possible, put perfume, and he made sure to buy things for Jeonghan- his usual favorites.

Meanwhile, Jeonghan and Yo Han were quiet inside the car.

 

Yo Han:

You hungry?

 

Jeonghan:

No, sir.

I’m fine.

 

Yo Han:

I know it’s a hard time for you, but you need to eat.

 

Jeonghan:

I just ate.

 

Yo Han:

You did but you throw it all up.

 

Jeonghan didn’t bother answering him anymore.

 

Yo Han:

Jeonghan-ah, you need to be well.

The news reached me. It surprised me that you refused the operation and now the therapy.

(He looked at the irritated young man beside him looking away through the window)

 

The man stopped talking until they got home.

 

One moment, Jeonghan received a call from Vernon. He felt so relieved.

 

Jeonghan:

Vernon, why did you call?

 

Vernon:

Just checking up.

 

Jeonghan:

(He smiled)

I’m fine. How are you?

 

Yo Han was really pissed when he saw Jeonghan smiling for somebody else. He got a little offended, honestly speaking.

 

They were about to enter Sebong’s dorm, but Yo Han needed to get something he forgot in the car, so Jeonghan came first, while busy talking to Vernon.

 

Vernon:

I’m fine. Just a little nervous with the performance because I am alone.

 

Jeonghan:

But I know you did well.

Just believe in yourself.

 

Vernon:

You home?

 

Jeonghan:

Yup.

Mr. Yo Han. He drove me home, but he’s-

 

Yo han interrupted

 

Yo Han:

Let’s talk about your visa, Jeonghan.

 

Jeonghan was alerted, he became scared because Vernon might hear Yo Han’s selfish plans for him, so he talked to Vernon that he’ll call him back the soonest.

 

Vernon:

Is that Yo Han, hyung?

He’s still there?

 

Jeonghan:

Yup. But he was about to go after a short meeting.

 

Yo Han:

Go in. (the house)

 

Jeonghan:

Vernonie, I’ll call you later.

 

Vernon:

Hyung!

Hyung!

Don’t hang up!

 

Jeonghan kept his phone on his pockets and acted firm before his boss; although he was scared.

On the other hand, Vernon, after hearing that he was with Yo Han inside their house, felt so troubled. He asked somebody if he could go home immediately, so his manager booked him the fastest flight he could.

 

He had a bad feeling about it. While packing, he checked everything up, and he noticed that his phone was still in the line.

 

Jeonghan didn’t notice that he didn’t hang his phone properly and that Vernon was still on the line.

 

The boy took advantage of the chance, so he listened.

On the other line, Jeonghan and Yo Han had a serious talk about the poor boy going to London; however, Jeonghan finally refused.

 

Yo Han:

Jeonghan, everything is planned.

 

Jeonghan:

I never ask you to plan everything for me sir.

All I remember was the one I said, I will think of the offer.

 

Yo Han:

(Started losing his temper)

Have you thought of your parents?

I saw them crying for you when I visited you in your house.

You know what they are doing just for you?!

They are asking for help through money lenders because they were so worried about you.

They wanted you to be well.

And now that I am offering you this opportunity, you are declining it!

 

Jeonghan:

And I am doing my best to fill everything up for my expenses. It’s not your job sir.

No one’s ever requiring you to do so.

(With an irritated tone)

Don’t just decide for me.

 

Yo Han:

You don’t understand, Jeonghan.

 

Jeonghan:

If that’s what you believe, sir.

 

Yo Han:

Then, should I disregard my feelings and other things regarding myself for you?

(He frowned)

 

Yo Han:

One moment, the older man went completely berserk after seeing a cheap ring on his finger- the ring Minghao bought him the last time they went out together; moreover, the necklace given by Jihoon from his birthday. He grabbed it and pulled Jeonghan close to him.

 

Yo Han:

You even prefer wearing cheap jewelleries like this than my gifts?

(He scoffed)

 

Jeonghan:

At least I know it’s not the price that matters. It’s the one who gave it to me.

 

Yo Han:

Are you seeing someone right now?

 

Jeonghan:

Yes, sir.

 

Yo Han:

(He scoffed)

Who is that person?

Can he or she make you better from your situation right now, huh?

Make sure that that person provides you more than I can!

 

Jeonghan looked at him fiercely, but Yo Han did not falter.

 

Yo Han:

You’ll run to me because you need money, Jeonghan.

 

Slowly he cupped Jeonghan’s face, but the younger moved his body back as if he wanted to reject him and that made Yo Han very angry. He pulled Jeonghan close to him with too much force that it already hurt the poor boy.

 

Yo Han:

Love is not enough to feed you. Even to make you feel better, Jeonghan.

I can give you both, so think properly.

(He threatened)

No one can give you everything like I do, you know that.

Not even one of your members nor your CEO.

(With gritting his teeth)

 

Jeonghan:

Let me go!

(He tried to escape Yo Han’s grip, but the older man held him on his arms.)

Sir, let me be alone.

If I die because of love alone, then leave it.

I’ll die at least being respected.

(He said angrily)

 

Yo Han:

No.

You are mine!

No one can get you away from me.

(He forced a smirk despite his anger)

 

Jeonghan:

There’s n-

 

He halted his words as he felt a little dizzy, and somehow he couldn’t move his body. It’s like he’s inside somebody’s body. He couldn’t control it.

 

On the other hand, Yo Han caught him on his arms and kissed Jeonghan’s neck intensely, touching his body with full of desire.

 

He went out of control.

 

Yo Han:

I can’t let somebody stealing you from me.

Never.

You are mine!

 

Jeonghan, that time, was unable to speak, and to even move any muscle to protect himself from the psycho.

 

Despite his situation, the older man continued abusing him, touching his skin through his dirty mouth.

 

Jeonghan:

(Tried his best prevent the older’s terrible scheme on him by forcing himself to speak)

P-lea-se.

 

One minute and he was okay again. He managed to push Yo Han harder, but his weak body was not ready to defend himself back. He couldn’t escape Yo Han’s clutches as he was trapped into his wild kisses on his lips and next to his jaws to his neck.

 

The young man tried to push him far but his energy didn’t suffice. All he could do was shout for help.

 

Jeonghan:

Don’t! Do this!

(He pushed him harder, but the more he pushed him, the more he pulled him back.)

Please!

Let me go!

(He shouted with all his might)

Let go!

(He was losing oxygen and his head began spinning but Yo Han didn’t care at all. His head was being poisoned by his obsession)

 

Meanwhile, Minhyuk, who was about to ring the doorbell heard something going on inside Seventeen’s dorm. His eyes began getting bigger as he identified Jeonghan’s voice that seemed like fighting someone. Immediately, he rang the doorbell many times.

 

Jeonghan became hopeful hearing the doorbell. At last, help came. And that halted the vicious man from continuing his ill intensions to the poor boy. The foreign man became so irritated and tried to ignore the person ringing the bell, but it never stopped. He was forced to move back.

 

He could control the other members but not the ones outside his ring.

 

Yo Han:

No one will ever know what happened today. Remember that.

I can do whatever I could to make you and your members suffer.

It’s an easy bargain, Jeonghan. You for me and everything will be perfect for you, your family and for your friends.

(He arranged his suit back to normal and groomed Jeonghan like nothing happened between them)

Be a good boy, Jeonghan. No one should suffer.

 

Jeonghan was extremely scared with his threat as he protected his fragile body from the monster in front of him with a heavy panting.

 

Then, Yo Han opened the door seeing some familiar face and identified that it was Minhyuk from Monsta X.

 

Yo Han:

What are you doing here, young man?

 

Minhyuk was startled upon seeing Pledis’ boss inside their dorm after hearing those harsh plea. He didn’t expect that a respectable man like him could possibly harm one of his employees; nevertheless, the younger stood up in front of him firmly though he stuttered a bit.

 

Minhyuk:

I-I am here to visit Jeonghan. To- to spend time with him, sir.

(He gulped)

 

The boy checked upon Jeonghan and noticed that the boy looked so worn. Then, he knew something probably happened.

 

Minhyuk:

(Pretended he didn’t notice anything)

Can I come in, si-sir?

 

Yo Han:

Go home. Jeonghan needs to rest.

 

Jeonghan:

No. I promised to see him today, right, hyung?

 

Minhyuk:

He’s… he… yeah.

(He composed himself like that of a gentleman despite the confusion and the fright in his mind.)

 

Yo Han:

Let’s see Jeonghan.

 

Jeonghan:

You may go, sir.

 

After the vicious man left, Minhyuk ran to him immediately.

 

Minhyuk:

(Checked Jeonghan)

What did he do to you?

 

Later on, Jeonghan couldn’t think of what to response. His knees gave up immediately and Minhyuk caught him and made him sit on the couch.

 

Minhyuk:

(While brushing his hair to clear his terrified face)

Jeonghan-ah, did he do something on you?

(He was getting nervous and angry at the same time)

 

Jeonghan:

Hyung.

(He said weakly while panting)

Hyung.

(Clutching the other man’s shirt)

 

Minhyuk did not let go. He embraced Jeonghan to calm him down.

 

Minhyuk:

I’m already here, Jeonghan.

I won’t leave you.

…

Wait here, I’ll get water.

 

Jeonghan:

No.

I-I’m fine.

 

Minhyuk:

No, Jeonghan. Look at you!

You are terrified!

 

Jeonghan:

I will be fine, hyung.

Minhyuk:

Next time you are with him, text me. Text us.

Text everyone on your contact list.

(Looked how terrified Jeonghan was)

While Minhyuk was calming him down, Vernon on the other line was far from his calm face. He was mad. You can tell from the first glance on how mad he was hearing their conversation and thinking about the abuse Yo Han could possibly do to Jeonghan.

 

Meanwhile, Vernon, was uneasy walking back and forth inside his hotel room with the manager. The boy was dialling each of his team’s number but no one was answering him back, and that was because Yo Han made them all busy so he could have time with Jeonghan. He became frustrated and now he became angry, just by that phone call.

 

Vernon:

How long will it take me to fly back to Korea, hyung?

(He asked with a little irritated tone)

 

Manager:

What’s wrong, Vernon? Calm down.

 

Vernon:

I need to go home now!

How can I calm down? Someone’s in trouble.

(With his frowning expression)

I need to go home, right now!

 

Manager:

(Was a little offended on how Vernon stated his orders)

Hey, hey!

What’s going on?

 

Vernon:

(He started to realize that he’s doing the wrong thing. He’s being rude)

I’m sorry.

(He closed his palm and reached it to his lips with his teary eyes)

I need to see Jeonghan hyung right now.

He needs me.

 

Manager:

(Finally understood the reason behind Vernon’s anger and he became worried too)

What happened?

Did something happen?

 

Vernon:

He needs me, hyung. Please bring me back home.

He’s in trouble.

(He begged)

 

Manager:

I get it.

(He panicked based on how upset Vernon was)

Let me look for an earlier flight. Just hold on.

I’ll let you go first. Can you do that?

 

Vernon:

Yes. Thank you.
