Description
Ji ChangWook and Park Yura is having a beautiful and happy life as husband and wife. Both of them are good looking and successful in their career. But one day, she is diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and dying. Because of her deteriorating health, she can’t bear a child so she choose to have a surrogate to give her husband a child so that he won’t be lonely when she is not around. He opposed to the idea and do not want to do it. Not as long as she is still alive.
Im Yoona is so desperate to save her halmeoni who needs a lot of money to undergo operation. She has try around to ask for help and do loans but all fail because she do not have a stable job. She even think to sell her kidney at black market to save her. One day she read about surrogacy at the hospital. She met with a middle age couple who willing to pay her a lot of money as long as she will bear their child. She agree to it because she will be paid to save halmeoni and she can help the couple who has been trying for 20 years. It’s a win-win situation.
BUT the hospital make a big mistake and accidentally implanted Ji ChangWook and Park Yura’s embryo to Im Yoona without HIS consent. They realized it too late and nothing can be done. Ji ChangWook is shocked when the hospital told him about this matter and what shocked him more is Im Yoona looks exactly like his dead wife. It’s like his wife is coming back from the dead. Torn between to fulfill his wife dream, helping the poor girl and his principle, he takes her in and ask her to stay with him until the baby is born.
Will he fall in love with the woman who carries his child or he will stay loyal to his wife and only take the baby?
And is Im Yoona totally a doppelganger of Park Yura or there is a secret about them?
Will Yoona fall in love with the baby’s father or will she leave him as promise once the baby is born?
CAST
Ji Chang Wook (32) - A loving husband to Park Yura. They are college sweethearts and he married her a year after he graduates. He owns and establish an advertising company and his business is doing well. Very popular among his friends, colleagues and college mate because of his good looks.
Park Yura (29) - Works as a dietician and part time model. Her beauty are talk about town. She will become very popular where ever she goes not only because of her beauty but also because she comes from a rich family. Youngest daughter of the Park who owns Park Corporation. Loving wife to Ji ChangWook which she met in college. She got married when she still in college and they are a loving couple. Diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 4 and she really wants to give an heir to her husband even when she know she cant. She opt for Surrogacy.
Im YooNa (29) - Lives in Busan and she do odd jobs for a living. She was once adopted by a couple who both are teachers but her parents past away when she was 10. Eversince she become an orphan, she is raised by her neighbour which she called halmeoni. Growing up together with halmeoni's grandson, Lee JongHyun. Though she is not rich, but she is happy not until halmeoni was diagnosed withe terminally ill cancer. To save her, she tried to earn money in anyway possible. While waiting for halmeoni's treatment at the hospital she read about surrogacy and she decided to be surrogate mother to pay for halmeoni's treatment costs.
Hong Jong Hyun (31) - His family and Yura's family are family friends and business allies. He grew up together with Yura and her brother. In love with her since middle school and already confessed to her but got rejected twice. Yura only think of him as best friend and nothing more. The second time he confessed, Yura already dating her senior, Ji ChangWook. Works as an oncologist. He can't fall in love with other girls as he keeps comparing them with Yura not until he met Yoona. He is attracted to Yoona eventhough she is a polar opposite of Yura.
Park Hae Jin (36) - Yura's elder brother and now he is the taking over their family business. Love his sister so much and will do anything she ask him too. Yura's secret keeper. Before she died, Yura had ask him to find someone for her.

Foreword
“I am so sorry to tell you both this. But, I have to. Mrs Park Yura is having stage 4 ovarian cancer and it has spread to her fallopian tube and upper part of her womb” Dr Hong words are like a death sentence to their ears. They are so shocked to learn that the illness can be this serious.
Looking at how the young couple become stoic in front of him, Dr Hong continues “But, she can still undergo treatments to slower down and kills those cancer cells. I will suggest you a few treatments that is suitable for her now.”
Before he could explains further on the treatments, Yura asked him “How long do I have?” he is startled by the question and ask her back “Nae? What do you mean?”
“I know I can’t live that long. Just tell me how many more times do I have to live?” she asked in solemn. Tears already pooled in her eyes. The moment she learned that she has stage 4 cancer, she know her chance to live a long life is thin. Even though there are many modern technology and medications to cure cancer but the percentage of survival of late stage cancer is very slim and she knows that she needs to accept the painful fact.
Both her husband and the doctor is shocked hearing the words that has just came out from . ChangWook holds her hands and grab it tight. He turn to look at her, “What are you talking about? Let’s think on how to cure it first. Hmm”
She turn to look at him and tears starts to falling down. “I do not want false hope. I rather live in cruel reality than living in false hope.” She turn back to Dr Hong, her oncologist and asked “Just tell me how many months do I have and what the odds for me to survive. I’ll accept it.”
Dr Hong sighed heavily. This is the most difficult part for him as a doctor when he needs to reveal the hard truth. “If you do not do any treatments maybe around 6 months, but like your husband said let us focus for the treatment first. It could work. Maybe who knows miracle can happened.” He tried to be positive for his patient that is the best he can do as a doctor.
“What are the treatment options available for her? Just do whatever you think it’s the best for her and cure her. Don’t worry about the cost.” ChangWook asks in desperation. His is pleading for the doctor to save his wife.
“We will start with chemotherapy first for one cycle to slower down the cancer cells and after chemotherapy we will see how the cancer progress is. If surgery needed, we might need to go to surgery to take out all the cancer cells and infected area. But if we can control it only by chemotherapy and radiotherapy and medications, we will go for that option. But for start, she will need to undergo chemotherapy.” Dr Hong JongHyun explains.
“If miracle does happen and I am cured after therapy and surgery, can I be able to have kids later on?” Once again Dr Hong startled by her question and he doesn’t know how to explain in a better way. He led out a long sigh.
“Even if we keep your ovaries and your uterus, but the chance for you to be facing infertility problem is high. This is due to the chemotherapy and the radiation process we will perform to kill the cancer cells. But there are some woman that get pregnant even after ovarian cancer treatment but the percentage is very very low. Maybe less than 1%. I cannot give you hope about fertility, I am sorry Park Yura-ssi.”
ChangWook pulls her into his arms and comfort her, “Let’s not think about it first, yeobo. Let us focus how to treat your cancer and get you cure ok. We can think about having kids later after you are cancer-free.”
“But you heard him right. I will be infertile even if I am cured. I will not be able to give you a baby. An heir. What’s the point I can be cured if I can’t function properly as a woman? Its useless.” she sobs hard to learn that she will be infertile. That news is harder for her to digest more than the news that she has cancer.
ChangWook turn her body to face him. He cupped her face and wipe her tears using his thumbs. “Look at me. I don’t mind not to have a child. All I want is for you to get better and get cured. We can try fertility options later when you are fully cured or worst case we can adopt. I don’t mind. What I need now is to get you to do the treatment as soon as possible and recover.” he embraces her and she continue to cry in his arms.
“Maybe God is punishing me for taking the birth control pills and delaying getting pregnant. I should have bearing your child right away after we got married but I let my career comes first. And now, even if I want it I am not able to even dream of being pregnant.” Her tears are falling nonstop. “I’m sorry yeobo. I cannot give you a child. Though you never says it, but I know deep down you really wants a baby. I’m really really sorry I couldn’t realize that dream of yours.”
He caress the back of her head lovingly, he can’t control his tears as well when receiving 2 bad news regarding his wife. He knows it is very hard for Yura to accept the fact and so does he. “I told you right. I don’t mind not having a child now. I can live without a child but I cannot live without you. Let’s listen to Dr Hong suggestion and gets you treated. If you need to be treated overseas, let’s get treated there. Yoiur health is my priority now.”
Yura look up at her husband and try to smile with her eyes are still wet and red, “I know you are hoping for a miracle to happen but I can sense I won’t get treated fully. Even if I can get rid of the cancer but I won’t be able to function as a woman fully. I do not want false hope and I don’t want you to have false hope either. It’s better if we prepare for the worse.”
“What are you talking about?”
Ignoring her husband question, she look at Dr Hong and ask, “Can you please set an appointment with a fertility doctor? I want is the option I have if I really want to have a baby. I’ll decide on my treatment after I meet the fertility doctor.” She said firmly.
“Well, Park YuRa-ssi, to be honest with you once you go chemotherapy treatment it will be very hard to get healthy eggs from your ovaries as those has been exposed to radiation. The best way to help you is we will extract all the healthy eggs from your ovaries before you undergo cancer treatment. Those eggs will be keep frozen until you decide to do an IVF. Once you are cured and cancer free, we can do IVF for you and we will injected the embryo into your womb to help you get pregnant.” Dr Han Hyo Joo explains. Dr Han Hyo Joo is a fertility treatment doctor in the hospital.
“Those frozen eggs can still be used even if it is kept for a very long time right?” Yura asked.
Dr Han nods, “Yes, as long as it is not contaminated and kept well, it will still be healthy up to 5 years sometimes maybe longer.”
She looks at Dr Han begging eyes “Please save all my eggs Dr Han. Take it all and save it before my body is exposed to radiation. Keep it save for me.”
(6 months later)
“I have a bad news to tell. From the MRI result it seems like your cancer has relapsed and has spread to your uterus it is progressing very fast. I am so sorry.” This is like the worst news he had to tell his patient for the entire 5 years he be an oncologist. The young lady in front of him just underwent surgery to remove her ovaries 6 months ago and she braving through to go the radiotherapy treatment to be cure from cancer but it seems like the big-C doesn’t want to leave her alone. It’s the fastest relapse case for him so far.
“You mean after I went through the surgery and the painful treatment, it is all of no use?” she feels like her whole world is collapsing. If last time she still hold to the hope that miracle can happen but after hearing that her cancer relapse, she knows she is still breathing just the matter of time.
“I beg you Dr Hong, please save my wife. Just tell me what the treatment option available is. Doesn’t matter if it is proven or still under clinical trial, if you think it is possible please help her.” ChangWook begs Dr Hong. He is holding himself from crying as he needs to stay strong for her. Then suddenly he feels Yura is holding his hand firmly, he turn to look at her. Her eyes already turn red and damp. He knows she is heartbroken.
“Yeobo, I don’t want to go through all that painful treatments anymore. I accept this as my fate. I just want to spend my remaining days with you, with my family and friends. Be it 3 months or 3 weeks or even 3 days. I just want to spend it like normal and not in the hospital. Please, don’t make me go through that suffering again. Jaebal.”
ChangWook cannot control his tears from not falling. He cried as he heard what Yura just told him. He knows better than anyone else how suffered she is going through all those treatments and he understand if she doesn’t want to go through it again. But, he is selfish too. He doesn’t want her to give up just yet. She wants to keep her alive. “No no, you cannot just surrender and lost hope like that. Don’t leave me. Please.”
“This is our fate and we can’t go against it. Don’t worry I won’t leave you alone even if after I left. I will make sure that there will be someone to accompany you.”
“What do you mean by that?” he asked.
“You’ll know when the time comes.” She smile at him and caress his face lovingly.

Hi all my lovely readers. As today is my special day for me (my birthday), I decided to give you another new story of Ji ChangWook and Yoona.
I already wrote this draft for some time but I want to post it after Least Expected Love completed. But since Least Expected Love is behind time I decided to post this story anyway.
This is my original idea. I get this idea while doing work at the office. So I straightaway write the description on paper and later type it on MS word.
