It was time for getting off work and standing in the corridor I was waiting for one final call from my immediate superior confirming the schedule of our ambassador for the coming week. Close to their family, I thought back to the times when I was completely lost and back again in my home country with nothing to do and no family to rely on. Free to work anywhere and call any place home, but with added responsibilty....

"Mommmmm!!!!!!................" The chirpy shrill voice of the little boy rang in the corridors and I swung on my heels to look back at a little bundle of joy with thick wavy hair running towards me in full speed...

....But with added responsibilt of a child no big than 2 years. "Mom!!!!!!!" Now 3, my bundle of joy ran into my arms breaking into my reveire (it means daydream) with a Korean guy close behind.

"How did you cross the road, Ray??" I anxiously enquired, worried. I looked down to him disregarding my surroundings to sit down and hold him by his shoulders, tears slowly forming in my eyes.

"Oh mom, dont worry," he turned around to look at the man behind and pointed to him, "This ajhusshi helped me., Ray said hugging me.

"Khamsayeo..." I quickly stood up to thank the person the korean way by bowing respectfully and slowly looked up, with Ray in my arms.

"Aanyeo..its fine. He looked like he could not wait any minute longer for you on the signal. Its just my duty to help. If you please excuse me now"... said the guy and respectfully bowed and left the embassy lobby.
