“You`re not from here, Maam.”
Irene didn’t want to go too much into detail about herself, but not giving any name would seem suspicious, plus being called a Maam made her throw a tantrum in a second.
“Bae Joohyun for you.”
The waitress smiled a little bit. “Ah. Bae Joohyun.” She let the name glide over her lips.
“I assume you already know my name.”

Irene looked at Seulgis name tag, as to show her that she indeed did.
“So what brings you to this village, Bae Joohyun?”
“Work.” Irene lied. The whole running away from her crazy boss didn’t have to be known just yet. Preferably never.

“Might enlighten me what kind of work? I cant possibly think of anything that would bring anyone in this village except the joy for fishing. So is it fishing you do? Do you sell worms?”

Damn this girl really liked to ask questions. Irene grinned, it was her fourth beer already and she couldn’t help to stop talking to the young waitress.
“I do not sell worms, and I also do not fish. I have never tried fishing in my life before. I´m on a work trip, and I have been driving for ten hours today, so this is my first stop.” Irene hoped this would be enough explanation for the girl to stop asking questions, but oh boy was she wrong.
