Description

After a lifetime of disconnect from her Korean roots, Park Youngah is sent to live with her aunt in South Korea for a year to rediscover her heritage. Burnt out from university, armed with a degree she isn't sure she wants, and feeling vastly out of place, how will a visit from her cousin and his friends change everything for her?

Foreword

Hello, this is my first story on AsianFanfics. Thank you for taking the time to check The Photographer out! It's been a long time since I wrote anything, so I would appreciate all and any feedback you might have for this story.

Some background for this: The #Winnerscenario tag is pretty sad on Tumblr, and Winner's having their comeback in February. I had some ideas floating around - why not spread the Winner love?

Update 05/13: So much for that February comeback - but April is just as good. Praise Winner's promotions for this comeback!! #EVERYD4Y

I hope you enjoy reading this story!

Notes:

The story will be primarily written in first-person from Park Youngah (OC)'s point of view. Because of this, there's a few things that need to be kept in mind:
Non-italicized dialogue (ie. "Hello.") indicates a character is speaking in Korean; italicized dialogue (ie. "Hello.") indicates a character is speaking in English.

She's a character that has a lot of growing, in terms of many things, and that will be a strong focal point for the story's narrative.

I've been caught up between a new job and starting my second year of university ... so I apologize for the /extremely/ slow updates. Regardless, I hope those who are reading this are enjoying the story so far. If you have the time, please feel free to comment your thoughts and suggestions <3
