Description

Jung Eun Chae, a witch of centuries.

Having lived through the ages of darkness of Joseon ‘til the modern era, she lived among the humans. A century of sadness, a century of yearning, a century of regret…

Standing before the cliff that she had once stood on 500 years ago, the turning point begins when a lost soul found its way back to her.

The curse of a witch. A forbidden love. An ill fate. Will they learn to love each other again?

With her hand on his throat, her hair swoon in the wind as her black cape flew behind her. Her eyes burn with tears, seemingly flashing into a grey tint, her pale face drew in darkness.

“Why did we meet again?”

He takes a picture of her standing before the cliff, her hands stretched out as the wind blew against her.

“It’s a test.”

He holds the picture, mesmerized by her.

“No.”

She walks through a field of chrysanthemums.

“It’s a curse.”

He longingly looks at her, his face tense and a pained expression.

“If it is a curse, I’m willing do it over just to have you in my arms again.”

They walk past each other, not glimpsing at each other as many others separate them, though the world seems to focus on them only.

Then transitioning from their modern clothes to traditional clothes as they look back.

“The day I met you… was the biggest mistake of my life.”

The screen fades black then flashes into thunder and lightning. A woman in hanbok stood in the courtyard… her eyes widen…

“Don’t do it.”

In the traditional era, he gives her his hand in which she looks up at him curiously.

“Please.”

With the branded knife, she slits her hand and blood seeps out, dripping into the bowl as the camera pans out and he lies unconscious in bed.

“Don’t make me forget you…”

She feeds the content mixed with blood to him.

“I beg you.”

She wails, holding someone in her arms as rain came pouring with the wind and lightning/thunder storm.

Flashing with anger, her eyes turn from a dark brown color in the night into a lifeless gray color, her body emitting black auras. The screen turns black, then lightning flashes.

Transition back to the present, she smirks at him while he stood before her across the glassy, foggy room.

“I am a witch.”
