Foreword

Her name is Kang Hwa Young. Everyone calls her Hwa (pronounced Hu-ah) She's never considered herself a very passionate person when it came to things like love and relationships. Honestly, she thought she'd never experience love at all. Everyone talked about it but she couldn't relate. Since she was nineteen years old she'd sworn off any feelings that felt like romantic love and she never let anyone get close enough to try to make her feel them. Now she's got a new job. She's got new friends. Life for Hwa is about to get complicated.

Chapter 2: I noticed that you added Kim Taehyung to the character list and BTS in the tags. I originally thought that this was going to be an original story (not fan fiction), but wowowow, I love Taebae, so it's all good! I'm excited to see what he's like and how he'll cross paths with Hwayoung. Can't wait for the next update :-D

Chapter 1: Not only is Hwa's personality relatable but so is her background story! I find Hwa and her story very similar to my own, especially the part about friends and trying to be comfortable with being alone whilst building up a strong character on the outside. This past year, I was by a friend who then turned almost the whole grade against me and "hired" people to follow me around at school, to see where and who I hung out with. This was bullying in a sense, but she strongly denied it and then had the audacity to say that she did this because she pitied me! Through that entire 4 months long ordeal, I became a follower, desperate for the comfort of a stable friendship. I then found another group of friends which was good while it lasted, but they soon me too due to "not liking how attached and different I was" (I carried around a lunchbox, which is uncommon at my school). I was then pushed back into the world of "drifting", as I call it, not belonging to a friend group but having mutuals here and there who I would occasionally hang around with. I strongly relate to the quote; "the worst kind of heartbreak is when your friend breaks your heart," because it is so true. Long story short, I'm already loving this story and can't wait for the next chapter! (Sorry for the long and personal story but I just had to vent to the internet at the very least!)
