The King pulled out two envelopes and handed them to his daughter without any ceremony. “You can open them later. They are official news. One informs you on your new title as the Crown Princess, heir to the throne,” he revealed, looking straight at her as her eyes widened in shock. “The second one is a royal command to join the army. Effective immediately!”

“The army, father?!”

“Yes, the army. I want you to go and get that rebellious spirit educated. At least that way it’ll have some use in the future.”

“But father…”
