2:22 AM Thoughts
SECHSKIES (One-Shots)A voice that calms the raging sea,
still waters, the horizon i see
you, the sun who emits light
a guide, as the only star in sight
the words i could not find,
i look at you and get tongue tied.
all these pictures in my mind
never knew you had this side
i count the tallies on the wall,
he pleas for freedom, but never really calls.
bare the weight on his shoulder
why is the future getting much colder?
hissing, barks, murmurs of nature,
how cruel it is that he's trying to be better.
how unfortunate for a man that has changed
a bystander, wouldn't know if the man has been tamed.
selfless you are and who you'll ever be,
be selfish, i beg you, please.
you think of everyone.
except for your own
you've cared for the yellow flowers in the garden,
i don't blame them, afterall the weeds were still around them
thankful was I to be in a vase,
with the rest that still had faith.
oh how the winds are just like you,
oh how you sway us and move us too.
just like the wind, i could not see,
but your presence and impact i could still feel inside me.
