Circumstances come up, money gets tight, people try to come between couples. It all happened to Jiyong and Sohee, of course, and as time passed, the frustrations that only adult life can bring to the table tried to create a rift between them. For several years it didn't work, and their love grew stronger by the day, but then came the Big Fight.
Every couple fights, they both knew that. But this fight was worse than any other, and it was all over Jiyong needing to go to Paris to meet with several potential new fashion benefactors right at the same time that Sohee had her art in an exhibit. The exhibit was planned months in advance: the meetings were not.
"Why won't you push the meeting to next week?" she demanded, halfway begging and halfway shouting as she flung her hands in the air. They stood in the middle of Sohee's pottery studio, Jiyong wearing impeccably clean clothing and Sohee's spotted with clay and paint.
