It took several months for Sohee to feel as if she could trust Jiyong again, and it was several more after that before he asked her to go out on a date with him. She thought long and hard over her answer, knowing that she had broken up with a good man earlier in the year in a quest to better herself. And because of that, she actually turned Jiyong down in that first request, determined to do this when it was right for her. And she asked him out. She had surprised him with the question, asking it in the middle of one of their everyday conversations about mundane things in life. Jiyong's face when she made the request was like a child on Christmas, joy and almost disbelief as he stuttered out a yes.
