“I will help you to be with Sehun.” Irene smiled as she sat right next to Joy.

“Really?” Joy took Irene’s hand, “You’re the best friend I could ever ask for.” Joy pulled Irene for a hug.

“So, what’s your plan?” Joy asked.

Instead of an answer, Irene smiled.

Sehun’s POV

“Is that Irene’s best friend who studied in US?” I asked Chanyeol.

Chanyeol nodded, “I didn’t expect her to return so soon.”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“She told me that she had always wanted to continue her career in US.” Chanyeol explained.

Irene seemed very awkward and uncomfortable when she saw me. I didn’t come here to find the answer to her request. I just wanted to see her. I felt like I couldn’t breathe when she’s not around.

Right before I could sit on the living room, I heard the sound of a door opened from the second floor. Both Chanyeol and I looked up to the stairs and saw Irene and Joy were going down to the first floor.

“What are you guys up to now?” Chanyeol asked.

“Let’s go to an amusement park!” Irene exclaimed.

“We didn’t even eat dinner yet,” Chanyeol said.

“Joy can cook for us!” Irene exclaimed so loud, as if she wanted to make sure that I heard what she said.

“I can cook for you guys,” Joy smiled warmly.

“Really?” Chanyeol smiled, “That would be great.”

Mushroom soup, sweet greens with tomatoes the size of peas, rare roast beef slices as thin as paper, noodles in a green sauce, cheese that melts on our tongue served with sweet blue grapes. Joy was a real good cook.

“This is delicious,” I sincerely complimented her.

“Thank you,” She thanked me.

“See!” Irene exclaimed, “She’s a great cook!”

“You should teach Irene how to cook,” Chanyeol said to Joy.

“I’ve gave it all, she wasn’t born to cook.” Joy laughed together with Chanyeol.

“Maybe you didn’t teach her in a way she could understand,” I said, as I was amused by what she said.

“Excuse me?” Joy asked.

“The way you said it, it seemed like Irene could never cook a decent food.” I said, “Irene made the best eggrolls in the world.”

“She was just kidding!” Irene laughed as she slightly smacked my back.
